Liverpool have made links to Hungarian winger Roland Salai, who has been compared to Cristiano Ronaldo.
This is according to BlickWhich covers the 28-year-old today. The Hungarian outfit are very excited about Salai potentially joining Liverpool, which would be a huge deal for Hungary.
Salai has excelled week in and week out at Galatasaray, even featuring at right-back. His form has attracted the interest of several major clubs, but Liverpool could emerge as the 'real suitors' among them.
The Turkish press now regularly refers to him as the 'Hungarian Cristiano Ronaldo' due to his technical ability and physical presence. Observers keep a close eye on his every move, on and off the pitch.
Salai also impressed the crowd with his performance in the 5-2 win over Juventus in the Champions League last week. Talk of some big step is definitely increasing.
Liverpool earning 'special attention'

Liverpool is earning 'special attention' from Hungary as one of those potential destinations. They are already home to Dominik Szoboszlai and Milos Kerkez, Salai's teammates at international level.
Having a third star at Anfield would certainly be a pleasure for the country, and that has been evident in Hungary. The Reds could do with a reliable right-back after their problems with that position this season.
There is no mention of transfer fees or effort at this point. But the Reds' potential interest in Salai is not going unnoticed in his homeland.
Why the possibility of transfer - from the player's father
His father is certainly ready to give a positive recommendation if the Liverpool people want it.
"I've always been proud of my son, because, and I say this without prejudice, he's a very good kid." Tibor Salai told the newspaper.
"As a father, it is an uplifting feeling to experience this. But my son also tries his best to be loved. Whatever position he is put in, he performs well."
