A few days ago the Los Angeles Lakers got a big win against the Golden State Warriors, but it was not good throughout the game. There was a moment when Luka Doncic came out of the game, as he walked to the bench, JJ Redick grabbed his wrist in an attempt to talk him down.
Doncic didn't seem like he wanted to talk and moved his wrist away from Redic. The head coach followed Doncic until he reached his seat and the two had a conversation. Redick got the last word, and as he walked away, Doncic stood up as if he wanted to follow him. Additionally, Jared Vanderbilt stood up to Doncic so he wouldn't chase Redick, and fans applaud him for doing so.

"Shout out to Jared Vanderbilt," one user wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
A second user wrote, "Vanderbilt clearly has the ability to try and spread the word here, while alternatively making it appear he is cheering. A+ teammate."
Another user wrote, "Extend the wand. And put him in the fourth quarter for defensive purposes in close games against good teams. Thanks."
A fourth user wrote: "Hats off to the man who is standing and stopping Luca from moving forward."
Vanderbilt got a lot of props for standing up to stop Doncic from doing whatever he planned to do, but that would have drawn a lot of unnecessary attention.
It seems like Redick was probably holding Doncic accountable for something he did, and the Lakers star didn't like what was said. They have probably recovered from the situation now, and can focus on the rest of the season while trying to get back on track.
The good news is that the Lakers have won their last two games, but they have some tough games coming up on their schedule.
