Bologna's Juan Miranda has explained why he ignored Nottingham Forest in the 2026 winter market.

"I don't think it was the right time to go to the Premier League," He said.
“I am very happy here in Bologna. They have given me everything, they believed in me and the fact that I am doing well is important.
"I have two years left on my contract, I'm doing very well here, I love Italian football, and right now I'm not thinking about anything else. We want to qualify for the Europa League again this year, that's the club's aim, and then, well, we'll see."
The right move to ignore the Premier League
The fullback has featured regularly since joining Bologna. To put this into context, he has played 70 matches so far in all competitions and 32 have been this season.
Since he has been performing well in Bologna, it would be wise not to entertain a January approach from Nottingham Forest.
Miranda's contract is till 2027 transfer market He is valued at €15m.
Without a renewal, Bologna may be forced to sell him in the summer to avoid losing him for free in 2027.
It remains to be seen whether the Premier League club returns in the summer.
