Newcastle United's Sandro Tonali could be one of the biggest names to sign during the summer transfer window.

Tonali's return to Italy rejected
Journalist Peppe Di Stefano spoke to Radio Rossonera about the midfielder's future at St James' Park. He made it clear that he should refuse to return to Italy due to Newcastle United's high asking price.

Di Stefano suggested AC Milan as a romantic destination but urged the player to stay in England.

The journalist clarified that Milan should expect his return to San Siro but it will not happen in the near future. He also appeared to mock the Rossoneri for their ability to spend less.

"In the future, I hope he can achieve the second part of his dream: playing for AC Milan again and becoming their captain, but everyone has to hope for it. This is not the right time; Sandro's price is so high that he cannot even think about returning to Italy."
There is no reason for Tonali to return to Serie A
Apart from the emotional aspect, there is no reason for the Newcastle United player to return to Serie A. He has already won the Scudetto once, while also playing in the Champions League with the Rossoneri.
Risso's words also indicated his desire to play at a higher level in the Premier League. Financially, only the biggest clubs in England can afford a 24-year-old player in the summer. Milan and Juventus rarely spend big on players and are likely to rely on swap deals or initial loans.
