Why could the deal prove crucial for the Toffees?
Everton were linked with a number of right-backs over the winter – including Holm himself. Norton-Cuffey is better than the Swede, who has never been able to perform consistently throughout the season.
The Genoa player's experience in England could also make him an exciting signing. He has the engine to move forward in the Premier League and that is why even the major Italian sides like him.
