Possibly the biggest move the Eagles made is the signing of wide receiver Hollywood Brown. But the Eagles have a bigger acquisition in mind; We don't know if they can accomplish it yet or not.
according to athleticZach Berman, the Eagles are still "interested" in trading for the Vikings' Pro Bowl pass-rusher Jonathan Greenard.
"Edge rusher is a big position to watch, even with Abiketi. Greenard is challenging to predict because it requires compensation in a trade and with a new deal, but the interest is there."

Greenard reportedly wants a contract adjustment two years after signing a four-year, $76 million deal with the Vikings as a free agent. Still, like the Eagles, the Vikings are tight on budget, and Greenard recorded just three sacks while missing five games due to injury last season.
For now, Greenard has a cap hit of $22.1 million for 2026. He'll turn 29 in May, but is just a year away from recording 12 sacks for the second consecutive season.
The Vikings are said to be asking at least a second-day draft pick in return. Minnesota also has Pro Bowl pass-rusher Andrew Van Ginkel and 2024 first-round pick Dallas Turner manning the edge rusher positions, but Greenard is arguably one of their best defenders.
