The Detroit Pistons have weathered the storm well so far with Cade Cunningham out of the lineup due to a serious lung condition. The Pistons recently picked up a win over the Los Angeles Lakers on Monday evening, but they are still hoping for good news about their best player moving forward.
On Wednesday, Hunter Patterson of The Athletic posted a video on xTwitter previously showed Cunningham working out with the Pistons' training staff during the team's shootaround.

It's unclear how intense the workouts became, but it's still great to see the All-Star back in practice and participating in some capacity, even if it may take him a while to get back on the floor.
At this point, there is no firm timetable for Cunningham's return to action, and his absence has sparked debate over whether or not the NBA should rescind its 65-game minimum rule for award eligibility, as Cunningham would need to play five more games this season to meet the limit, but is clearly eligible for things like All-NBA and even MVP consideration.
The Pistons have just a few weeks left in the regular season before the playoffs begin, where they are on track to become the number one seed in the Eastern Conference. Detroit has done a solid job of showcasing its depth over the past few games in Cunningham's absence.
In any case, the Pistons will take the field on Wednesday evening for a home game against the Atlanta Hawks.
