Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea's interest in Maxi Araujo is now getting a boost from the player himself, as both clubs made contact over a potential summer move.

Now, the Uruguay international's latest comments suggest that England is firmly on his mind.
Maxi Araujo is preparing to face England with Uruguay in the match in London. The 26-year-old is currently training at Arsenal's facilities ahead of that match.
Talking to Uruguayan Outlet spectator sportHe explained his feelings about playing in England: "It will be my first time in England, let it be the first of many. It will be incredible, a big opportunity and I will make the most of it."

Maxi Araujo is in strong form at the moment for Sporting. He has scored six goals and provided four assists in 35 appearances this season, operating primarily as a left-back.
