tutomercatoweb Report Locatelli will be the next to sign a new contract with Juventus. CEO Damien Comolli himself has announced that the deal will be signed soon.
"In the next few days we may get some news about a new contract, but not about Vlahovic," He said.
"I've always said we'll talk about Dusan at the end of the season, and that's what we'll talk about. There have been discussions, but don't expect anything before the end of the season."
contract till 2030
TMW now reports that Manuel Locatelli will sign a two-year contract extension until 2030. The deal has been agreed with Juventus.
His current contract runs until 2028, but the new agreement will extend it. This will also include the option to extend it till 2031. The Italian club have moved quickly to secure the 28-year-old.
He is a key player under Luciano Spalletti, who has made him the leader of the team. He will greatly appreciate the effort taken to secure his future. The move may have come as a result of increased interest from Tottenham.
De Zerbi wants him at Tottenham
Sport Witness covered a report earlier in the month That said, Roberto De Zerbi has named Manuel Locatelli as a key target for the leadership of Tottenham.
It was reported that De Zerbi had spoken to the Tottenham ownership about transfer targets prior to his arrival. He reportedly put forward Locatelli's name as someone who could help improve the team in the future.
He has a close relationship with the midfielder, having worked with him at Sassuolo between 2019 and 2021. His performances under De Zerbi earned him a transfer to Juventus in 2023. Now he wants a reunion in London if Tottenham avoid relegation.
But it appears that Juventus have moved to close down this possibility. Locatelli will be in the final two years of his deal this summer. Instead, he will now be held hostage with four years remaining, effectively closing the door on his departure.
