a doctor's recommendation
According to BILD, Marco Rose's name was presented to Bournemouth by Leipzig's former head team doctor, Dr. Percy Marshall.
He made it clear to the Cherries that Rose is keen to return to the touchline next season. He has been keeping himself away from the public eye for the last few months but is now ready to make a comeback.
Marshall has been working as Bournemouth's medical and performance director since July last year. Again, he was in a good position to recommend Rose.
That wouldn't be Leipzig's only reunion, either. Rose also previously worked with Tyler Adams, Justin Kluivert and Amin Adly. Presumably, Bournemouth have considered this.
