West Ham United star Mateus Fernandes is a target for Paris Saint-Germain as Luis Campos continues to target the Portuguese talent for the Parisians.
Foot Mercato reports that P.S.G. Contact has already begun for the 21-year-old West Ham star regarding a possible move this summer.
PSG are in love with the Portuguese talent
The website reports that since Luis Campos took over at PSG, the Portuguese director has shown interest in recruiting his compatriot.
Vitinha, Gonçalo Ramos, Joao Neves and Nuno Mendes are prime examples of his transfer strategy. And, according to FM information, he is targeting another Portuguese player in West Ham's Mateus Fernandes.
In fact, their interest has now increased to such an extent that contact has been established between the two parties.
The 21-year-old midfielder is considered a rising star, having impressed at West Ham this season after joining from Southampton last summer. Since that €44m move he has established himself as a key player for the Hammers.

Foot Mercato made no mention of how much PSG would be willing to pay for the West Ham star this summer. But he may have one factor in his favor: his relationship with Gestifute.
He currently represents Mateus Fernandes as well as several PSG stars. Vitinha, Joao Neves, Bradley Barcola, Warren Zaire-Emery and Gonçalo Ramos are all under his banner.
This means the Portuguese agency has strong links with the French giant. And, presumably, adding another customer to the list will bring a lot of joy.
However, West Ham would almost certainly block any deal. Fernandes has impressed since the summer and particularly under Nuno Espirito Santo. However, any deal will of course depend on their Premier League status.
If the Hammers avoid the drop, they will be able to resist any offer. However, relegation could lead to forced sales which PSG could take advantage of. Perhaps that's why they have started talks now, laying the groundwork for a possible move this summer.
