According to the newspaper, Besiktas intend to strengthen their goalkeeping ranks this summer. A shortlist is already being drawn up, but Manchester United goalkeeper Altay Bayindir sits at the top of it.
The Black-and-Whites plan to become Manchester United's number two after selecting their new head coach. There is no mention of whether they would need to approve the move first.
Bayandir is expected to leave Manchester United this summer after falling down the pecking order behind Sane Lammens. The 28-year-old is the number two forward at Old Trafford.
He has made only six appearances in all competitions this season, his last coming in September. That was after a 3–1 defeat to Brentford.
He started the season as first choice, but ended the season with 11 goals conceded in six matches. Reports have repeatedly linked him with a move to Besiktas Manchester United goalkeepers are also discussing this.
Manchester United's demand
