Eintracht are considering a move to Frankfurt west ham unitedSongoutou Magasa this summer.
West Ham beat off competition from the German club to sign the defensive midfielder from AS Monaco in August 2025.
Last August, Sports Witness Covered claims from France Eintracht Frankfurt attempted to snatch his signature from the Hammers but were not successful.
The Frenchman played 1,259 minutes in 22 matches, of which 280 minutes were from four FA Cup matches. He has seen his playing time limited this year and has only played 70 minutes in the Premier League since February.
Door open for West Ham player
Eintracht Frankfurt finished eighth in the table while West Ham United dropped out of the top spot.
The German club have confirmed that Adi Hütter, who spent three years between 2018 and 2021, will return to the club.
He previously managed Songoutou Magassa at AS Monaco and under his command, the current West Ham man played 53 matches. The manager knows French well and his profile suits the requirements of the German club.
Eintracht Frankfurt are looking to bring the 22-year-old back this season in a bid to please their manager. They could take advantage of the London club's slide in the Championship to secure his signature for a reasonable deal.
Taking these factors into account, Bild said the Bundesliga side are 'considering another attempt to sign him.'
Eintracht Frankfurt sporting director Markus Kroesch was criticized for signing a defensive midfielder last summer. The report insists the club have, in a way, paid the price for it and Magasa could be the solution this summer.
As well as the former Monaco man, VfL Wolfsburg's Patrick Wimmer is also on their agenda. Following Wolfsburg's relegation, the Austrian has a clause that allows him to leave for less than €12m.
magasa has to decide
Bild have made no mention of whether Soungoutou Magasa is interested in joining Eintracht Frankfurt if they push for his signature.
In fact, there is no indication whether the player wants to leave West Ham United or not. He has a contract until 2031, worth €17m transfer market.
The midfielder must first decide whether he wants to play in the Championship or go on a loan/permanent transfer.
