When asked if there had been any discussions between his agent and Tottenham, he said: "I'm completely focused on the World Cup. I'm here with Sweden and we'll try to make a good impression in America. Whatever happens after that, we'll deal with it."
There is no possibility of development till after the World Cup
Sweden finished third in Group F, one point behind second-placed Japan and three behind the Netherlands.
They have already qualified for the Round of 32. There is unlikely to be much clarity on Lucas Bergvall's future until the national team concludes its World Cup campaign.
