Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards surprised many with his lack of knowledge of the NHL's Minnesota Wild and MLB's Minnesota Twins.
Edwards made the comments during a special guest appearance on the sports comedy podcast Sunday Conversation. As the franchise player of the Timberwolves, fans will assume he knows at least one player from Minnesota's professional baseball or hockey teams. However, Edwards, who is always up for debate about being the face of the NBA, is always completely honest with his comments and lacks the media-trained fake answers given by many star athletes.
Edwards said at 2:56, "I haven't got any favorite players among them. I don't know any players from the Twins or the Wild. I'll put it to you, I don't watch baseball or hockey."
Given his tendency to be outspoken, it's funny to hear his honesty here, in which he admits he doesn't watch or care about Minnesota's other pro teams.
