The Washington Capitals (31-23-7) move north of the border to finish off a back-to-back. They visit the Montreal Canadiens (32-17-8) on Saturday night at the Bell Centre.

The puck drops at 7:00 pm ET.

The Capitals have now won their last three games, with the first win coming just before the Olympic break. Now, they'll look for their first four-game win in nearly three months.

On Friday night, the Capitals defeated Vegas 3-2 for their fifth consecutive win at home. This is their sixth win overall in the last seven matches.

Pierre-Luc Dubois scored twice and continues to lead the way in his return to the ice. Dubois has totaled five points (3 goals, 2 assists) in three games after missing 47 games.

Meanwhile, Jakub Chykrun recorded his 22nd goal of the season. This is the most by a Capitals defenseman in a single season since Mike Green (31) in 2008–09. Additionally, Chykrun was playing his 600th career game on Friday.

With the win over Vegas, the Capitals are now within two points of a playoff berth. They'll also go into Saturday night as the only Eastern Conference team to have played more than 60 games this season.

The Capitals took care of the Canadiens in five games in the first round of last year's Stanley Cup playoffs. This season, Washington has won each of the first two meetings against Montreal.

Meanwhile, the Canadiens are currently in fourth place in the tight Atlantic Division. Montreal has earned at least one point in each of its last six games (4-0-2), but gave up several leads in Thursday's 4-3 overtime loss to the Islanders.
