Newcastle United will be reluctant to sell anyone, especially to a Premier League rival in the summer. A lot will depend on whether the Magpies qualify for the Champions League and what their financial situation will be going forward.
Manchester United's own involvement in the competition will also be important, although their finances are not as dependent on it as Newcastle's.
