Wolverhampton Wanderers striker Tolu Arokodare has revealed how he irritates Aston Villa midfielder Amadou Onana when they meet on the pitch.

Arokodare was on the bench for the game but came on as a substitute in the second half. This gave him another opportunity to come up against Onana.

The Wolves striker has a strong connection with Belgium having played for years in the country. This has seen him maintain links with some of the Belgian squad currently at Villa Park.
Onana is chief among them, and Arokodare admits that he cannot help teasing him when they meet on the pitch.
"Andre! (Amadou Onana) I always call him that, jokingly." He said.
"After the Man United goalkeeper. We have a good relationship. During the first leg, we clashed, a real clash, fortunately, we did not suffer any consequences."

Although there has been light tinkering on the pitch, Arokodare is still wishing Belgium all the best for the World Cup this summer.
He spent two years and seven months playing for the country from January 2023 to September 2025. The 2024/25 season was his most successful to date, scoring 21 league goals to win the Golden Boot. He also won the Ebony Shoe as the country's best African player.
That, clearly, is a time he remembers fondly and as a result he is hoping for success for the Aston Villa midfielder. This is despite their ongoing rivalry.
"My years at KRC Genk have given me a bit of Belgian blood, so I hope they will do well," He added.
“I also have a lot of friends at the Red Devils: Zeno (Debast), Maarten (Vandevoort), Openda, Onana… Hopefully, Brian (Henen) and Mats (Smets) will also make the World Cup squad.”
