Smith reiterated rumors that Williamson was "addicted to food" and had weight problems during his time with the Pelicans, which led to the back-and-forth.
"There was nothing fabricated. The information that came out about Zion Williamson, yes, it came from inside the organization. It came from people even closer to Zion Williamson. I'll leave it at that," Smith said Tuesday. "People who called and encouraged us to capture him because of his actions. You got people who are alcoholics, you got people who are drug addicts, and things like that. What was Zion's problem? Food! Addicted to food!"

But even after a heated exchange, the Pelicans decided to go after Smith again. The NBA chimed in on ESPN analyst Richard Jefferson and Stephen A. Asked Smith to stop trolling. Pelican then posted a video of a man mimicking boxing moves and captioned the video, "Unk trippin' again."
The tweet's caption read, "5 minute monologue from a former NBA player on how to shoot," Jefferson sarcastically responded to what he said in the post. The feud may be about to stop soon, but it's clear the Pelicans aren't ready to give up.
