The Atlanta Hawks are currently on a seven-game winning streak, and they are planning to make it eight when they face off against the Brooklyn Nets. It was the win against the Nets that started their streak, and hopefully they can continue it as they try to climb the Eastern Conference standings.
Jonathan Kuminga was able to contribute to wins in some games, but he missed the last three games due to injury. The injury report initially listed him with left knee soreness, but the Hawks recently changed it to a left knee bone bruise, which sidelined him when he was traded.
Here is Kuminga's position before the game.

Jonathan Kuminga's injury status vs. Nets
Kuminga is listed as questionable against the Nets, meaning he is likely to play. Additionally, he has been listed as questionable for the last three matches and has been subbed out an hour and a half before each game. It is uncertain how serious the injury is, but it is something that has been bothering him for some time and is affecting his ability to step on the court.
The Hawks were able to see what Kuminga can do when he's on the field, and he showed a little bit of everything in the three games he played. There is no doubt that Kuminga can be a big contributor for the team, especially during this time of the season, and they are hoping he returns soon.
It would also be nice to see more from him on the front office side of the Hawks so they can determine if they want to accept his option when the season ends so he can come back next year.
