Leeds United's Matteo Joseph says he wants to extend his stay at RCD Mallorca beyond this season.
In August 2025, Leeds United allowed the striker to join the La Liga side on a season-long loan deal.
Last month, after a run of six wins in 25 league matches, Mallorca parted ways with manager Jagoba Arrasate and appointed Martin Demichelis as his successor.
Arrasate used the Leeds United-owned player in his preferred role as a number 9 and on the right wing.
Demichelis has been in charge for two matches, managing one win and one draw, and has used the 22-year-old as a striker. Overall, Matteo Joseph has played 1,606 minutes in 28 matches this season, scoring two goals and providing two assists.

As things stand, he will return to Elland Road at the end of the season as Mallorca have not achieved a purchase clause.

Why should Farke's side be sold in summer?
Joseph has a contract with the Premier League team till 2028 transfer market He is valued at €3.5m. Another loan move means he will have a year left on his contract in 2027.
