Before moving to the top division, the forward had scored five goals and three assists in 18 matches for Eintracht Braunschweig.
Since moving to Heidenheim, he has so far failed to score or assist, but that hasn't hurt Southampton.

This, coupled with interest from Southampton, could lead to the attacker's swift exit just months after joining the top division side. This could also allow Tonda Eckert's side to make a signing on suitable terms in the summer.
