One of the things New Jersey Devils fans are hoping for is a first-round exit from the Minnesota Wild.
Why?
Because some people are still holding out hope that the Devils might take Hughes' older brother if he is hesitant to commit to his new team. When the calendar turns to July 1, Hughes has one year left on his contract. So whether it's a deal this summer or via free agency next offseason, the less successful Minnesota is, the more likely it is that Quinn won't commit.
Personally, I see Quinn staying in Minnesota. But never say never. Especially when there are no results.
