David de Gea has experienced a rebirth of sorts after leaving Manchester United. His future at Fiorentina is under threat and is attracting a lot of attention in Italy.

The journalist explained that not long ago, De Gea's future at La Viola seemed certain. But now things are not the same, Juventus is moving forward.
"Will De Gea stay? It seemed certain, but today in Turin rumors are resurfacing that De Gea is among the candidates for the Bianconeri jersey.
"There are also talks of contacts between Fiorentina and Juventus on this front, so the question is: does De Gea want to stay, but does Fiorentina want to keep him, or do they want to invest permanently in young Martinelli and save the big salary?"
In short, it seems as if everything will fall to the Spaniard. He has a long-term contract and there is no real reason for him to leave, unless a bigger club calls for him or Manchester United makes a surprise move.
