Hull City have identified Galatasaray's Victor Nelson as a transfer target.
The centre-back lost prominence at the Turkish club and is out on loan from the beginning of 2025.
After a brief spell at AS Roma, he joined Hellas Verona in August 2025 on loan with an option to buy.
Hellas Verona were relegated from Serie A after finishing 19th and the 27-year-old is unlikely to remain with them. Hull City could open the door to a move for the defender this summer.
The Tigers won promotion to the Premier League and Sergej Zakirovic is working to strengthen his squad.
In defence, the Denmark international is a target and Hull City boss Ekun Ilikali is leading the charge.
Hull City wants Galatasaray player
The English club are keen to bring Victor Nelson to the MKM Stadium this summer. This is according to Turkish journalist Ali Naci Kucuk, who relayed news yellow red.
Kukuk analyzes the surprising development around the Galatasaray player and Hull City's interest for the YouTube channel, Disi Football. He claims the Tigers want the Dane and Ekun Ilikali to carry out negotiations.
"Galatasaray is demanding €10m in transfer fee for Nelson. Ekun Ilicali is continuing his talks with both coach Okan [Buruk] and management,'' He said.
After broadcasting the journalist's quotes, Haber Sari Kirmizi insisted it was a 'surprise transfer negotiation' for the defender.
Tottenham Hotspur wanted to bring him to the Premier League in 2023. In July of that year, Sport Witness broadcast news Spurs offered €15m plus Davinson Sanchez but the Istanbul club rejected it.
At the time, this did not appeal to Nelson, who was keen to join Spurs. Since then, several claims have been made linking him to various English clubs.
Contract situation favors Hull City
Victor Nelson's contract with the Turkish champions expires in 2027 transfer market He is worth €6m.
This could force Galatasaray to sell him this summer, to avoid losing him on a free next year.
Hull City could take advantage of this to try and sign the Dane for less than €10m.
