Bill Belichick has been named in a nearly $300,000 lawsuit raising questions about an alleged incident at one of the famed NFL coach’s luxury properties.

The lawsuit targets Forty Five Fair Street LLC, a company managed by Belichick, and focuses on negligence claims related to work done at his Nantucket home.

The complaint accuses the defendants of failing to maintain safe conditions during a renovation project, though many details of the underlying incidents are secret in initial court filings.

The lawsuit was filed by painter Andrew Jackson, who alleged he slipped and fell while working on the property in June 2024. Jackson claims the fall was caused by unsafe site conditions.

The painter is reportedly seeking compensation for more than $285,000 in medical expenses, lost wages, pain and suffering and other damages after suffering a serious injury to his right ankle.

“As a direct and foreseeable result of the fall, Plaintiff suffered serious physical injuries, including a severe right ankle injury, as well as pain, disability, medical expenses, lost wages, and other consequential damages,” the lawsuit says.

Brock Lesnar’s chest tattoo is one of the most recognizable images in the history of professional wrestling and combat sports. However, the story behind how it got there is far from the meticulous planning that usually goes into major body ink.

Speaking on the Spittin’ Chicklets podcast, Lesnar revealed that he had no memory of getting the tattoo and only realized it existed when he woke up the next morning. Lesnar told that this tattoo came during a difficult period of his life.

According to Lesnar’s own account, he had consumed half a gallon of vodka and some Vicodin before walking down the street at night and getting a sword tattooed on the center of his chest. Despite having no memory of the decision, when the fog cleared he remembered the emotional reasoning behind it. The symbolism, he said, reflected exactly where he was at that point in his life.

He was training for the NFL in Scottsdale, Arizona, when a motorcycle accident left him in a dark place mentally and physically. A combination of circumstances led to a night that ended with an unplanned trip to a tattoo shop.

“I got that tattoo, I was drunk in Scottsdale, Ariz.,” Lesnar said. “I was in Scottsdale training for the NFL, just got injured in a motorcycle accident, and I just got kicked ass. Like, I was going through all that stuff, and there was a tattoo shop across the street from the biker bar — and that’s not a good place for a tattoo shop. I got this tattoo, I didn’t even know I got such a bad thing. I wake up the next day, and I’m like, ‘What is this?'”

“The meaning behind it was, I felt like my back was against the wall, and someone had a sword, a knife stuck in my throat, like, ‘What are you going to do now?’” Lesnar said. “So, I went over there, I said, ‘Yeah, let’s put a big ugly sword on my chest.'”

The LA Clippers have played their last seven games without starting forward John Collins, but they appear to be on the verge of getting him back in short order.

Collins has missed the last seven games for the Clippers after suffering a neck strain against the New Orleans Pelicans on March 1. It was the second neck-related injury in 10 days for Collins, who was sidelined for nine days due to a head injury and neck soreness following a scary fall against the Los Angeles Lakers on February 20.

John Collins hasn’t played a game, but is sitting on the Clippers bench and appears to be in good mood after taking some scary hits to the head. Collins told ClutchPoints that he hopes to return to the court as soon as possible in the next few days.

“I’m feeling good, just trying to get back to form,” Collins said. “It’s been a tough period for me to stay available. So I’m trying to do what I can to get back into shape.”

Collins participated in a scuffle Thursday between the Clippers’ home games against the Minnesota Timberwolves and Chicago Bulls. He came out of that situation feeling good, but the Clippers will want to get another one of those “be ready” games and continue to evaluate him as he makes a run for his return.

“Yeah, I’m back in the Stay Ready Games, I’m feeling better. These types of injuries are just freak accidents, freak injuries. Just looking on the bright side, it could have been worse, it could have been something else. Again, I don’t even really want to think about it, but again, I’m doing good. And I’m just trying to, again, stay healthy and make sure I’m ready to go.”

Through November 25 – eight games after joining the starting lineup – John Collins averaged 14.9 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.2 assists, while shooting 60.1 percent from the field and 46.5 percent from three.

So how do the Clippers plan to re-engage a player like Collins after he missed a significant amount of time?

“He fits in very well,” Tyronn Lue told ClutchPoints. “It’s definitely worth seeing where he is with his minutes restriction. Jesse has been a big part of us all year. His game, once he started playing well, really changed our season for us. Just see where he is minutes-wise, see how he feels, and go from there.”

Of course, the initial accident hints at something similar, with Ball’s Hummer appearing to collide with another car that had the right of way. However, the post-accident clip, in which LaMelo was seen driving his red Rolls-Royce Cullinan, shows a stark difference.

After police arrived at the scene, Ball drove away in a Lamborghini that had come to pick him up. A reporter asked him why he walked away from the wreck, but the 2022 All-Star did not answer the question. “No, you’ll have to check it out,” he replied.

LaMelo Ball was apparently unable to drive the Hummer, so it makes sense that he would call for a ride. Ball has a bit of a history of bad driving. So much so that a compilation clip of his driving skills went viral in 2024. He has a history of running red lights and turning onto the roadway into traffic. Although Wednesday’s accident may not have been his fault, the six-year NBA veteran is an extremely bad driver.

LaMelo Ball was not injured in the crash in Uptown Charlotte, nor was anyone else involved. That means Ball is expected to play for the Hornets on Thursday when the team takes on the Houston Rockets. This will be the club’s first game after the All-Star break.
