Timothée Chalamet looks at careers between LeBron James and Brandon Roy

LeBron James is probably not the athletic phenomenon he once was, having graduated from ‘raw force’ to a more ‘measured destruction’ type of player, as skilled a playmaker as he has always been as a scorer. This, as James himself likes to say, is also a result of him being a high-IQ, thinking player who is always ready to pass the ball to his teammates when they have a better shot.

And while he may not be the out-of-control freak he once was, especially early in his career, actor Timothée Chalamet sees similarities between himself and the L.A. superstar. Speaking to James on Mind the Game, Chalamet compared his acting career to the two players’ sports careers.

“I feel like in my career I felt like Brandon Roy, you know, it was unheard of and sometimes I felt like LeBron was picked on, and I feel in that duality. It oscillates. I felt like I had that raw talent. I think the first roles I played that were good like ‘Call Me By Her Name’ or ‘Beautiful Boy’ were all raw talent. There was no real process to it. But it was just kind of a mess. And I think it took a few years and the onslaught of fame and attention and intensity,” he said.

Chalamet effectively claimed that although he also felt like a talented actor, especially looking at his earlier work, it was only later that he developed a ‘real process’. Chalamet said that early in his career, he felt like an untapped talent like Brandon Roy.

“I can look at LeBron and his career. The first few years in Cleveland and I had no process or way to deal with it. ‘I feel like ‘A Complete Unknown’ and ‘Marty Supreme.’ It’s the first time I really had a process and a method, I don’t want to say an artistic process. I don’t want to ignore my other work, but this is the first time I’ve really worked on a large scale,” he said.

Of course, while his early work in films like Beautiful Boy was also influential and earned him praise, it was only later that Chalamet really took off working. He also compared the situation to James’s early days in Cleveland, where he was a scoring phenomenon and an athletic monster, rather than the playmaker-scorer hybrid he eventually developed into.

Although the comparison may not be the most straightforward, one can definitely see where Chalamet is coming from, and how much respect he has for James.

“He should do athletics” – Newcastle star branded “poor” should consider changing careers

Newcastle United star Sandro Tonali should consider changing his career to athletics as he only runs.

That’s according to Antonio Cassano, who is clearly not a fan of the Newcastle midfielder. He is speaking about a 25 year old man Comments broadcast by Calciomercato.

The former Italian striker turned mouthpiece tells Il Messaggero about the Italian national team.

The Blues are currently struggling to qualify for the 2026 FIFA World Cup through the European play-offs. They have missed the last two tournaments in 2018 and 2022 and will now face a crucial play-off to avoid making a third.

World Cup in danger

This came after they finished second behind Norway in Group I and failed to achieve automatic qualification. They will host Northern Ireland in a single-leg play-off semi-final in March. If they defeated them, they would have to invade Wales or Bosnia and Herzegovina later that month.

It’s a dire situation for a team that is tied with Germany for the second most successful nation in World Cup history.

This led to significant and increasing criticism from fans, media and former players. Cassano is one of those people who is not cautious in sharing such opinions. And now their attention appears to be turning to Newcastle’s star man.

“It’s bad, but I’m confident that Gattuso will steer the ship in the right direction with his ideas and we’ll reach the World Cup,” he said.

“The only champion is Donnarumma. Pio Esposito? He is twenty years old and we consider him a novice: Totti and I made our debut at seventeen.

“She should do athletics”

“Tonali plays in the Premier League and never gets it. He runs and runs… He should do athletics. He and Barela are poor. Barela used to run, but he doesn’t run anymore. We need quality. I like Vergara.”

The question is, does anyone listen? It would be surprising if Premier League star Tonali cares what Cassano thinks at this point.

Sport Witness has covered him extensively over the past few months. In fact, A report earlier this month His agent has dismissed transfer rumors as Tonali wants to focus on helping Italy win the World Cup.

Instead of Cassano criticizing players like Tonali, perhaps Italy needs a similar mentality.
