‘Frontrunner’ for Bournemouth signing – Marco Rose connection could be key

bournemouth RB Leipzig full-back David Raum is currently the frontrunner, although he is set to remain at the German club.

Sport Bild reports on the 28-year-old player todayAnd how the World Cup could lead to a summer move for the left-back.

bournemouth front runner

The newspaper reports that although Leipzig are well ahead in their planning for next season, the World Cup could throw everything into disarray.

While the club is wishing for a strong World Cup for its players, the reality is that it could also bring an offer to the table that the club cannot easily refuse.

David Raum is one of those who could attract offers. The defender has been very open about his plans at the moment. He has asked Leipzig’s management to discuss a possible extension of his deal, which expires in 2027.

But he also has his sights set on the Premier League. This means he is looking to showcase his skills in front of the top English clubs during the World Cup, and is hoping to open doors for the ‘above average teams’ who have recently shown interest.

According to the newspaper Bournemouth are currently the ‘frontrunners’ for his signature.

Next season they will be managed by Marco Rose. David Raum made 97 appearances under him at Leipzig, more than the other four managers who worked under him at the club.

In fact, Rhum has played more games under any other visiting Bournemouth manager in his career so far. This link is clear for this summer.

But it is not clear that Raum believes Bournemouth is big enough as a club. The suggestion here is that he wants to attract bigger clubs than the Cherries in the Premier League. A good performance in the World Cup can help in this.

Sport Witness covered a report on Raum’s interest last year In a move to Manchester United. Since they are still looking for a new leftist, perhaps this is what he is trying to explain.

Hischier and Meyer Connection Strikes vs. Germany

The Swiss New Jersey Devils faced off against Germany in Zurich on Monday.

Nico Hischier and Timo Meier combined for four points as Switzerland defeated Germany 6-1 on Monday night at the 2026 IIHF World Championships in Zurich. The Devils captain had a goal and an assist, while Meyer added two assists. Switzerland—like Lenny Haminaho and Finland—improved to 3-0 in Group A play.

Hischier helped get the hosts on the board in the first period, providing the primary assist on the opening goal by Dennis Malgin.

Roman Josi picked up a secondary assist in the game. Switzerland kept that momentum going and outshot Germany 10-7 in the opening 20 minutes.

The second round was of Swiss power play. Meyer doubled the Swiss lead to 2–0 with a goal from Sven Andrighetto. Switzerland kept up the pressure, limiting Germany to just 4 shots in the middle frame, while Leonardo Zanoni deflected everything in front of him.

In the final minutes of the second period, Meyer drove the puck toward Germany’s goal line and fed Hischier streaking into the slot for a one-time chance, giving the Swiss a 4–0 lead on the power play.

After Hischier, Josi and Andrighetto scored two more goals in a 6–1 victory over Germany.

Hischier’s two-point game (1g, 1a) brings his point total to three (1g, 2a) through three games in the preliminary round.

Meier’s point total increases to four points (1G, 3A) through three games in the tournament. Meyer’s four points so far puts him in a six-way tie for fifth-most points in the tournament, highlighted by fellow NHLers Ryan O’Reilly and Lucas Raymond.

The Swiss team will next face Austria on Wednesday, May 20.

Switzerland is 3-0-0 so far in the preliminary round with wins over Germany, Latvia and Team USA.

Everton could use Roma connection to seal transfer – Toffees offer ‘special solution’ to issue

Artem Dovbyk

everton AS Roma are interested in a potential deal for striker Artem Dovbyk this summer, as his future at Roma remains in doubt.

Roma Giallorosa report That the ‘track to Everton’ will be alive for the Ukrainian striker this summer.

Everton introduced ‘special solution’

According to their information, Everton could offer the Italian side a ‘special solution’ given the shared ownership under the Friedkin Group.

Everton will consider loaning the striker until the end of next season. This will allow the 28-year-old to get back to his ‘best physical condition’ and basically rebuild himself after a tough campaign.

It would also give Everton the third striker that David Moyes wants this summer, without spending too much of their budget on a signing. And the relationship between the two clubs, which have yet to transfer any players, could facilitate transfers for all.

However there may be competition. Roma Giallorosa also reported that Napoli are among the clubs most interested in Dovbek. They had already asked about him during the January transfer window.

His profile is one that sporting director Giovanni Manna considers ‘very pleasant’. He continues to monitor the situation around him ahead of the next season.

€20m offer from Napoli

The belief is that they could return with an offer of around €20m in the coming weeks. Keeping in mind financial fairness and the need to make capital gains by June 30, Roma will considerth.

Such a cash offer would be even more favorable than Everton’s loan offer, at least in terms of the books. But it would also mean directly strengthening the squad that Roma are chasing in Serie A. There is only a three-point gap between fifth-placed Napoli and second-placed Juventus.

This is something that Roma will have to consider in the coming weeks. Do they prefer a straight sale to Napoli or, use their relationship with Everton in the hope that Artem Dovbyk will re-establish himself in the Premier League?

Jonathan Kuminga on the ‘OG’ Draymond Green Connection

It’s hard to get excited about anything related to Jonathan Kuminga’s reunion with the Golden State Warriors.

Instead of a passionate revenge game full of bad blood and blood, all we got from both sides were hugs and uninspired performances. On one end, we got to see a poor performance from the Warriors as they lost to the Atlanta Hawks 126-110. And Kuminga, on the other hand, went 1 of 9 for two points, four rebounds, two turnovers and a -6 plus/minus in 22 minutes.

Unless you enjoyed Dyson Daniels’ 28 points and the Hawks’ 48-16 run between the second and third quarters, the Kuminga-Warriors reunion was mostly chalk and cheese.

“It felt like a normal game,” Kuminga said at his locker after the game. “I’m excited to see my old teammates and some of my guys there. It was great, and I was happy to see them.”

That happiness was visible when Kuminga spent a lot of time after the game congratulating his former teammates, hugging his old coaches and talking to his past veteran teammates. He talked to Stephen Curry for the longest time, the two had a conversation at halfcourt after the game. And in the locker room, Kuminga gave a shout-out to Draymond Green about a good moment they shared when he first entered the game.

“He’s my vet, he’s my OG,” Kuminga said. “You know me and Draymond have always had a great relationship, a brotherly relationship. We were just hanging out.”

Jonathan Kuminga’s relationship with Steve Kerr

Kuminga even leaned over and hugged Steve Kerr, despite the two having disagreements over his role and fit with Golden State. Kerr has always said that the difficulties in their relationship have always been purely basketball and nothing personal, which he reiterated before the game.

Kerr said, “I like Jonathan. We always got along well.” “The basketball part was the hard part. We couldn’t provide him what he needed, and vice versa. We were a championship team – he really needed a lot of freedom and 35 minutes to make mistakes and grow and learn because he came in with so little experience, and we couldn’t offer him that – the basics.”

How Kuminga feels about their relationship is a little more ambiguous. When presented with a condensed version of Kerr’s comments from above, Kuminga shrugged his shoulders and raised his hands.

Kuminga said, “Hey man, listen – whatever they say, you can take it any way you want.” “I’m not worried about the past. I’m here, I’m very happy where I am. I’m doing great. Our goal is to get to where we want to get, and it comes down to us as a team. And I think that’s my main focus moving forward. Whatever is being said or whatever is going on, it’s not my problem anymore. I’m in the next chapter with my teammates, and we’re trying to build something here.”

Looks like the next chapter is going well so far. Hawks coach Quin Snyder said pregame that Kuminga has tried to fit into what Atlanta wants to do. And what they’ve asked of him is simple, “Defend and run,” Snyder told reporters, adding that Kerr and the Warriors said the same thing to Kuminga during his Golden State tenure.

everyone falls in love in the end

Regardless, while Kuminga and Kerr’s basketball disagreements pushed their relationship to the breaking point, he is still wishing the best for the young forward. As Kerr said, it was never personal between the two. Just an unfortunate situation in which neither side got what they needed.

“We offered him what we could,” Kerr said. “Which was 25 minutes and was a role he didn’t like. And it was never comfortable for either party on the basketball floor… We had our differences in our conversations about basketball, but on a personal level, we’re all here for him. Well-liked in our locker room. And I’m sure people are looking forward to seeing him.”

And based on Kuminga’s warm reception after the game, it looks like the bonds he’s made with Curry, Green and the rest of the Warriors will last even if they go their separate ways.

“I talk to most of them,” Kuminga said. “I try as hard as I can. But we still have great friendships and relationships like they’re my brothers. If they need something I can call them anytime, and if they need something they can call me anytime, so I think that shows a lot. Our relationship is very strong, and at the end of the day we’re brothers.”
