The Italian club paid €22.9m to sign Ederson from Salernitana in July 2022 and will make a profit from his sale this summer. TMW state Manchester United will pay €45m plus €3m in easily accessible bonuses.

Liverpool are ‘trying their best’ for the player – Reds want to finalize signing in 13 days

Over the past few months, there has been regular coverage of liverpoolInterest in RB Leipzig star Yann Diomande.

These reports were emerging even before Mohamed Salah announced his decision to leave Anfield in March.

The departure of Salah has forced Liverpool to sign a new right winger this summer and Diomande is one of their targets.

In January, the 19 year old said He “wants to play for Liverpool” as he is a big fan of the Premier League team.

Last month, the Reds had a meeting With representatives of Winger. Earlier this week, Sport Witness broadcast news The Bundesliga side increased the price to €150m and Liverpool are one of four clubs who can pay this fee.

On Thursday, the Ivory Coast international said he is aware of the Anfield club’s interest.

He said: : “Yeah, I heard that. But I don’t know if that’s OK for everyone to pay,” he said of his apparently high asking price.

“I’m not going to say Paris, Liverpool or Real [Madrid]. But it would be a good idea to play for big clubs. Everyone has ambitions and every day you want to go higher.”

Liverpool wants quick signing

sky germany Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain are in the race to sign Yann Diomande, reports Arne Slot.

The Reds are looking to take the lead and are ‘trying their best’ to bring the attacker to Anfield. They want to finalize the signing before the start of the World Cup on June 11.

There are 13 days left until the World Cup and it is unclear whether that will be enough for Liverpool to seal a deal.

This will not be easy as RB Leipzig intend to retain Diomande and extend his contract beyond 2030.

Our opinion: The Reds want to avoid competition

If Yann Diomande impresses at the World Cup, his price and interest will increase.

Arne Slot’s side are looking to avoid this and are now doing everything possible to complete the signing quickly.

If more clubs join the fight, RB Leipzig are likely to raise the price, making it more complicated for Liverpool.

transfer market The attacker, who has scored 13 goals and made 10 assists this season, is worth €90m.

Aston Villa exit talks have intensified in ‘recent days’ – manager and CEO punt on Villans player

Valencia keen to sign Aston VillaAndres Garcia in the summer window.

Earlier this month, Sport Witness Covered claims from Spain After failing to sign in January, the La Liga side have contacted his agent.

Aston Villa rejected him in the winter market, but that hasn’t put Los Chez down, who are still keen.

The Premier League team signed the right-back from Levante UD in January 2025. He has been the backup to Matty Cash at Villa Park and this has limited his minutes.

This season, the Spaniard played 109 minutes in eight matches and made 83 appearances in six Premier League matches. The Mestalla club is ready to give him an escape route.

Valencia wants Aston Villa player

super sport Report on why the Spanish club wants Andres Garcia and what efforts have been made so far to secure his services.

Renzo Saravia, Thierry Correia and Dimitri Foulquier are the three right-backs at Valencia.

Saravia and Correira’s contracts expire in June and Los Angeles will not extend the latter’s deal. Folquier has until 2027, but can leave if he receives a solid offer this summer.

Therefore, Carlos Corberán’s side are prioritizing strengthening the right-back position. The Aston Villa player is a main target for manager and Valencia CEO Ron Gourley.

Tribuna Deportiva recently said that negotiations between the clubs have progressed. Superdeporte report that talks between Unai Emery’s side and Valencia over the 23-year-old have intensified in ‘recent days’.

There is no certainty over the outcome of negotiations with the Europa League winners and, therefore, Valencia are handling other targets.

Meanwhile, Real Betis are showing interest in a player who welcomes a return to La Liga in the upcoming window.

Aston Villa’s situation is unlikely to improve

Andrés García played 615 minutes in 18 matches for the Premier League team.

Barring a surprise twist, he is unlikely to enjoy regular games under Unai Emery next season.

He could be pressing for a move in the summer, and Aston Villa will have to make a decision on his future. transfer market The fullback is valued at €7m.

The transfer is expected to be finalized within 14 days – Newcastle United a possible destination

Werder Bremen are hoping to resolve the future of goalkeeper Mio Backhaus in the next 14 days, and newcastle united is a possible destination.

BILD reports that the 22-year-old He is expected to leave Werder Bremen soon after impressing for the German team this season.

Premier League ‘hottest lead’

The newspaper reports that Werder Bremen’s survival in the Bundesliga this season was largely due to the performances of Mio Backhaus.

The young player started the season as a back-up, but when Michael Zetterer was sold to Eintracht Frankfurt, then head coach Horst Stephan gave him the number one shirt. It was a decision he did not regret.

Instead, Backhaus justified it with strong performances and now there are increasing signs that he will leave after one season. According to BILD, the transfer should be finalized within the next 14 days.

Italian clubs had expressed interest in the Premier League but the ‘most prominent’ points. Newcastle United’s interest is already established, but Brighton have registered their interest in recent weeks. This potentially gives Backhaus two options in England.

€12m valuation

Mio Backhaus is currently valued at €12m, so he’s not an expensive target either. He is expected to hold talks with his teammates after returning from a season-ending trip to Ibiza.

The plan is to return from that trip with a clear mind and ideas about what his next step will be. With Newcastle and Brighton in the picture, he may have to make a difficult decision.

There is interest in considering this from Freiburg’s side as well. However, they have some conditions before proceeding further. First, they need to trade Noah Atubolu. They must also qualify for the Champions League by beating Aston Villa in the Europa League final on Wednesday.

This looks like it will put them behind Newcastle and Brighton, especially in terms of reports The Magpies were submitted with interest just last week.

BILD now believes the deal will be done within the next 14 days, which suggests work has already been done behind the scenes.

De Zerbi keen on pairing, Tottenham official visit – Spurs expected to make move in coming days

Tottenham Hotspur They need just one point from their last two Premier League matches to avoid relegation.

Spurs are now 17th, two points ahead of 18th-placed West Ham United, with a game in hand and a much better goal difference.

While the immediate focus is on staying in the top flight, Tottenham are also working on potential deals for the summer.

The Italian is considering a move to Serie A, after appointing Roberto De Zerbi as his new manager in March.

Tottenham manager sets his sights on the pair

tuttosport Now the north London club’s manager is reported to have set his sights on Juventus’ Pierre Kalulu and Fiorentina’s Nicolo Fagioli.

On March 30, Khel Witness broadcast news Several clubs, including Tottenham Hotspur, are planning to sign Kalulu.

Manchester United have also taken notice of the 25-year-old central defender and have already made an approach. However, the Turin club closed the exit door.

Spurs are now keeping an eye on the France international and have sent a scout to watch him live in Juve’s 2-0 defeat to Fiorentina on Sunday. The official also saw La Viola’s midfielder Fagioli. Kalulu played the full 90 minutes while Fagioli remained on the field for 64 minutes.

Roberto De Zerbi is ‘keen on both players’ as he looks to improve Spurs’ squad to help them return to Europe. The English club are expected to make a move for the 25-year-old Italy international in the coming days.

sports witness recently Covered claims from Italy Without mentioning any figures, Fiorentina needs a ‘unique’ proposal. TuttoSport now report that La Viola would not consider less than €30-40m for the 25-year-old midfielder.

The English club is unlikely to succeed in signing the French defender as Juventus want to retain him. The Turin club have begun talks with his representative over a contract renewal until 2030, which would see a net salary increase from €2.4m to €3.8-4m per year.

Our opinion: Tottenham could use Paratischi’s help

Earlier this year, Fabio Paratici ended his second stint at Spurs to join Fiorentina as their sporting director.

Tottenham Hotspur could seek the help of their former director in an attempt to sign Nicolo Fagioli.

His contract expires in 2028 and he is valued at €16m transfer market. The same outlet now values Pierre Kalulu, who has a contract until 2029 €32m.

Chayka’s Coyotes days insider calls new Maple Leafs GM a ‘fraud’

Arizona coyotes have long been missing from the desert. But one of the most plugged-in insiders in Phoenix has responded with disbelief that the Toronto Maple Leafs will hire former Coyotes executive John Chayka as their new general manager.

John Gambadoro watched the surprise news conference introducing Chayka in Toronto and posted on Twitter.

Spectacular. Chayka here (in Phoenix) was a complete fraud. The fraud cost the Coyotes their first- and second-round selections. Exit the team just before the bubble. Stab Don Maloney in the back to get the job here. The way he treated (veteran Coyotes player) Shane Doan was disgusting – he wanted him gone – he wouldn’t even consider letting him play on the third line last year – just jealous of him. The tea is fake. (Leafs Alumni Tie) His connection to Domi is what is getting him this job.

Very good.

Chayka was the youngest GM in NHL history when he got the Coyotes job in 2016 at just 26 years old. He was gone after four years, and some of his violations not only cost the Yotes draft picks, but commissioner Gary Bettman also suspended him for a year.

Former Coyotes insider questions Chayka’s credentials

But Gambadoro did not stop there. He listed Chayka’s brutal drafting record during his stay in Arizona. He passed over some elite players when handling team’s NHL draft selections.

And Maple Leafs fans don’t look at their past drafts – while they did draft (Clayton) Keller, let’s not forget 2017 when they took Pierre-Olivier Joseph over Jake Oettinger and Jason Roberton or 2018 when they took Barrett Heaton and passed on Quinn Hughes, Evan Bouchard and Noah Dobson. 2019 you ask – we got Victor Soderstrom but could have had Matt Boldy, Cole Caulfield, Thomas Hartley, Connor McMichael or Shane Pinto… Enjoy Toronto, their draft was horrible!!!!

Gamboa certainly doesn’t paint a rosy picture for Chayka’s draft decisions. However, to be fair, five other teams also passed on Quinn Hughes, while two other teams passed on Bouchard after taking Hughes (nine teams total), and 11 teams passed on Dobson. A year earlier, in 2017, no fewer than 25 teams advanced beyond Oettinger, while Jason Robertson didn’t even get past the second round.

Certainly, no GM has a perfect drafting record. Far away from. But it’s clear that Chayka’s time in Arizona was not a success. Or all the above boards.

Many other people in the game are also trashing the Leafs for their new front office hire. And they’re still continuing to pile on as the press corps is officially introduced.

But the proof, as they say, will be in the pudding. Chayka has now grown up 10 years since her days in Phoenix. He’s learned some lessons the hard way (or at least from MLSE) expectations He’s learned), and we’ll have to sit back and see how things unfold.

But there are definitely some nervous nerves around Leafs Nation. Insider Chris Johnson described Monday’s press conference as “uncomfortable.”

Grab some popcorn. It should be an entertaining summer and year ahead in Leaf Land.

‘Days numbered’ at Manchester United – agent moves to advance €28m transfer

Manchester United Now edging closer to a clear decision on Manuel Ugarte, the latest developments suggest his exit is not only likely, but is being actively worked on behind the scenes.

The 24-year-old has struggled to establish himself since arriving from Paris Saint-Germain for around €50m (£43m) in 2024. Despite his reputation as one of South America’s most reliable defensive midfielders, his role at Old Trafford has steadily diminished.

This season, he has made 22 appearances in all competitions, but only eight of those have come as a starter. He also did not leave the bench in United’s last two matches under Michael Carrick.

Lack of participation has shaped both his own stance And the club’s thinking is moving towards the summer. As we have already reported, a decision has been made. Now, reports from Uruguay say it’s just a matter of time.

Manchester United is now pushing for a sale

Earlier reports There has been speculation about the terms of reaching a deal, but the latest information suggests the process is already underway.

According to a Uruguayan journalist rhodri vazquezUgarte’s time at the club is effectively coming to an end, with talks set to accelerate his departure in the coming days. “His days at Manchester United are numbered”He writes.

His representative, George Chizen, is expected to meet with Jorge Mendes to work out next steps.

Importantly, Manchester United are targeting a permanent sale rather than another loan. The expected fee is around €28 million (£24 million), a significant drop from the amount paid two years ago. This figure reflects both his limited role and the club’s desire to progress quickly.

From a squad perspective, this aligns with a broader reset. Ugarte has not become a vital part of Carrick’s plans and retaining him would only reduce flexibility in the market.

An environment of competition is being created across Europe

According to the report, there remains interest from across Europe in the Manuel Ugarte position and the list of suitors is evolving.

Napoli are now strongly involved, following previous reports from Uruguay that they were preparing a move. However, they are not alone. Also, Atletico Madrid has now emerged as another major contender, giving a different dimension to the race.

This follows the earlier interest juventusWho was already monitoring the midfielder and was planning to track him down during his international duty. The presence of multiple clubs increases Manchester United’s chances of securing a quick deal.

There is also an important player-driven factor. Ugarte has already done rejected viewpoint From less competitive leagues, priority is being given to making the step up to Europe’s top competitions. Italy and Spain both fit that profile.

what happens next

manuel ugarte
manuel ugarte

Manuel Ugarte wants clarity before the World Cup and that deadline is now shaping talks.

Manchester United is ready to do business, the players are ready to go, and the agents are starting to make moves. Those three elements rarely align so clearly unless a transfer is imminent.

The fee may still change depending on interest, especially if more clubs formally enter the race. Still, the direction is now clear.

For Manchester United, it looks like a case of quickly cutting losses and reallocating resources. For Ugarte, this is an opportunity to reset his trajectory at a club where he can play regularly again.

Barcelona wants to sign Chelsea star – internal discussions going on for the last few days

Chelsea defender Mark Cucurella
WROCLAW, POLAND – 05 28 2025: Mark Cucurella is seen during the UEFA Conference League 2025 final game between Real Betis Balompié and Chelsea FC.

Barcelona is keen to bring chelsea’s Marc Cucurella returned to the Camp Nou in the summer.

The left-back is a product of Barcelona’s renowned academy, La Masia, but has failed to cement a place in their first team.

Last November, he starred in Chelsea’s 3–0 Champions League win over Barcelona at Stamford Bridge.

At that time, sports witness Covered claims from Spain Barça’s disappointment at not being able to retain the 27-year-old.

Later that month, the Spain international said he was I am sad about not getting a chance at Barcelona. He left after only one first team appearance.

Brighton & Hove Albion brought him to the Premier League in 2021 and sold him to the Blues a year later.

After overcoming early struggles, the fullback has established himself as one of Chelsea’s key players. He won the UEFA Conference League and the FIFA Club World Cup with the west London club in 2025.

Barcelona talks about Chelsea star

Marc Cucurella is now back on Barcelona’s agenda for the summer. This is according to El Chiringuito, who adopted xFormerly known as Twitter, to share a report by journalist Jota Jordi.

El Chiringuito, via megaProvide more updates from the journalist on the La Liga winners’ interest in the Chelsea player.

They say the Catalan club want to sign the former Brighton & Hove Albion player to further improve their defence.

“There is one player that Barça knows well, he has come through their youth academy, and that is Cucurella. They have been talking about the player in the offices for the last few days,” He said.

Hansi Flick has Alejandro Balde and Gerard Martin as his two left-backs. The former has already been linked with a move to a few Premier League sides. If Balde were to leave, the Spanish giants could use the money to try to sign Cucurella.

Our opinion: The Blues are unlikely to approve the sale

Mark Cucurella will have two years remaining on his contract after this season transfer market He is worth €50 million.

Earlier this month, Liam Rosenior was shown the door, and a permanent manager will be appointed for next season. If Barcelona are to make an approach for their former player, the incoming coach will have the right to have his say.

Either way, it will not be easy for the Catalan club to convince Chelsea to sell him.

In two days, the Raiders draft is a mixed bag worth watching

Everyone was talking about Fernando Mendoza on Thursday night, and rightfully so. The Raiders finally have their franchise quarterback, and this story will dominate the conversation for years. But Day 2 is where front offices show who they really are — and in Las Vegas, GM Jon Spitek gave us a few things to like and at least one decision to take back.

Did the attackers miss a gem the next day?

kayden mcdonald
Kirby Lee-Images Images

Let’s start with the one that is stuck in my claws.

When the Raiders and Texans made their trade — Las Vegas sent picks 36 and 117 to Houston in exchange for picks 38 and 91 — I got the logic on paper. You drop two spots, pick a third rounder, and you’re still getting your guy. But here’s the problem: The guy Houston wanted was Kayden McDonald, and I wanted the Raiders to take him. McDonald certainly could have gone in the first round – a rare playmaker at nose tackle weighing 330 pounds with elite production. This is not an exaggeration. He’s a generational interior guard, and the Raiders let him slide two spots off the board so they could get an extra pick.

I understand the draft-capital argument. I do. But there’s a version of this where you stay at 36, grab a McDonald’s, and your defensive line looks completely different in 2026. You don’t always get those players. Spytek called it a great move and said he believed Stukes would still be there and that he only needed to survive two picks to get his partner. Good. But the 36-year-old “our guy” could be a Pro Bowl-caliber nose tackle. Instead, McDonald’s is in Houston.

Now, to be fair, what the Raiders did with those picks is not without merit.

Spytek improves Raiders roster at points of need

Treydan Stukes Las Vegas Raiders
Mark J. rebilas-imagen images

Traydon Stukes, 38, addresses a real need. The Raiders’ secondary entered the draft at safety and nickelback, and Stucks can do both. He played free safety for three years at Arizona before being shifted to primarily cover the slot, and he recorded four interceptions last season. The concern is age – he’s an older guy and may be limited at max range – and that’s a legitimate knock. But the attackers were not making choices in a vacuum. They need athletes there, and Stukes fits a real hole.

At 67, they added edge rusher Kieron Crawford from Auburn, a former basketball player with good athleticism who could use development but can contribute immediately as a pass-rusher. With Max Crosby still presenting that line, Crawford doesn’t need to be an immediate impact guy. He just has to grow, and there’s a fair way.

Raiders best pick of day two

Trey Zuhn III Las Vegas Raiders
Jerome Miron-Imagen Images

Then came the pick that I really liked the most the other day. With the 91st pick – the third-rounder they got from Houston – the Raiders took Texas A&M guard Trey Zuhn III, who adds versatility to the offensive line, having played multiple positions in the trenches in college. If Fernando Mendoza is the future, protecting him is the present. Zuhn fits into that priority. After spending two third-rounders on offensive linemen in Caleb Rogers and Charles Grant last year, the Raiders are bringing in young talent, which is exactly the right approach when you’ve handed your offense over to a 22-year-old quarterback who is making his first NFL start.

So where does that leave us after two days? The Raiders’ base is in Mendoza. They’ve added secondary help, depth on the edge and another piece to the offensive line. By most measures this is a functional draft. The choice of Stukes is reasonable, even if it doesn’t excite you. Crawford is a project with upside. The Zuhn was really good value.

But I keep coming back to Kayden McDonald. Getting a 330-pound nose tackle with that kind of production at this price doesn’t come often, and the Raiders pounced on him the first time around. Instead he chose business. Maybe SpyTech’s board told him he was stuck and an extra pick would be the better play. Maybe it was. We won’t know for three years.

What we do know is that after a decade of wandering in the desert, the Raiders have a plan, a quarterback, and a draft class that, at least, doesn’t blow it before it starts. This matters more than ever in Las Vegas.

Nikola Jokic posts ultra-rare stat line for second time in 18 days

The Denver Nuggets were about to be eliminated on Thursday night. After an impressive blowout win over the Houston Rockets just 24 hours earlier and losing an hour due to a time change on a flight to Texas, the stage was set for a “scheduled loss” against the San Antonio Spurs. Instead, Nikola Jokic decided to serve up the Frost Bank Center as a historic masterpiece, pulling his team back from a massive 20-point deficit to a thrilling 136–131 victory.

Jokic finished the night with an impressive 31 points, 20 rebounds, 12 assists, three steals and two blocks. While a triple-double is usually just another day at the office for the Serbian center, the sheer volume of his production in every major statistical category puts him in a stratosphere of his own.

In fact, this performance was so rare that the last person to put up those elite numbers in a game was Jokic himself, just 18 days earlier. On February 22, he torched the Golden State Warriors with a nearly identical stat line, proving that his “ultra-rare” nights are becoming a regular occurrence in 2026.

Denver looked sluggish in the first two quarters, falling behind as the Spurs found their rhythm from behind the arc. However, head coach David Edelman tightened the rotation, and Jamal Murray provided the perimeter scoring punch needed to keep the Nuggets within striking distance.

Murray finished with 39 points, but it was Jokic who systematically dismantled San Antonio’s defense during a furious fourth-quarter rally. He hit back-to-back shots in the lane with less than five minutes remaining to pull Denver within one point, ultimately sealing the epic comeback at the stripe.

With the win, the Nuggets moved to 40-26 and remained alive in the hunt for a top-three seed. As the MVP race reaches its peak, Jokic continues to distinguish himself with a level of versatility that feels unprecedented. If he keeps posting these video-game numbers twice a month, the rest of the Western Conference is in serious trouble.

Jaylen Brown looks back on Rajon Rondo vs. Thunder days

Jaylen Brown has expanded his game out of necessity this season, as it was his first season as the undisputed number one option for the Boston Celtics amid Jayson Tatum’s lengthy absence due to an Achilles tendon rupture. Brown has responded with his best season as a professional, and even after Tatum’s return, he remains the foundation and cornerstone of the Celtics, the guy they rely on to take them home on a nightly basis.

On Thursday night, Brown certainly did his part in putting the Celtics in position to win. He answered his team’s call amid the absence of Tatum and Derrick White in a heated battle against the Oklahoma City Thunder, scoring 34 points, six rebounds and seven assists. While a late-game call that went against the Celtics ultimately cost them a 104-102 loss, it shouldn’t take away from Brown’s efforts.

In fact, Brown has become so dangerous as a playmaker that he has become the first Celtics player since Rajon Rondo in 2014 to record at least seven assists in seven consecutive games, as reported by Taylor Snow of Celtics Stats.

Considering how Rondo is one of the best playmakers in Celtics franchise history, being mentioned in the same sentence as a passer is no mean feat for Brown.

Jaylen Brown has become more than a scorer for the Celtics

Over the years, questions have been raised about Brown’s dribbling and playmaking. The Celtics star has faced criticism for not being able to dribble safely with his left hand and passing has never been one of the biggest strengths of his game.

But being the team’s top dog for most of the season, Brown has had to make the most of the defensive attention he gets on a nightly basis. And he is passing that exam with good marks.

Obi Toppin nears return after missing 123 days with stress fracture

As the Indiana Pacers approach the finish line of the 2025-26 NBA regular season, people are constantly moving in and out of the lineup as the calendar moves closer to March 2026. And while it’s been a disappointing season for many within the organization, things may be about to get a little more fun.

Pacers forward Obi Toppin, who immediately became a fan favorite when he came to the Indiana Pacers in a trade with the New York Knicks, has missed the last 56 games due to a stress fracture in his right foot. Toppin has only played in three games so far this season, playing two complete games to start the year before suffering a stress fracture in the team’s third game of the season.

After missing the last 56 games over 123 days, the Pacers forward has a chance to return to the team’s lineup on Thursday night when the team takes on the Charlotte Hornets. Obi Toppin has been upgraded to “questionable” due to a stress fracture in his right foot, and it looks like he’s ready to return to the court soon.

In addition to Toppin, the Pacers have listed Andrew Nembhard as “questionable”, Pascal Siakam as “questionable” and Aaron Nesmith, Ivica Zubac, Johnny Furphy and Tyrese Haliburton as “out” due to various injuries.

If Toppin does not return Thursday night against the Hornets, his next chance to play will be on Sunday, March 1 against the Memphis Grizzlies.

The Pacers currently have one of the worst records in basketball at 15–44, which is lowest in the East and second worst in the NBA. At this stage of the season, the Pacers are positioning themselves to get a high draft pick in the 2026 NBA Draft.

However, the May lottery will decide a lot for the franchise, as the Pacers traded their 2025 first-round pick for protected picks at picks 1-4 and 10-30. So if the Pacers land anywhere from 5-9, the selection will be reported to the LA Clippers, who received the 2029 unprotected first-round pick, along with Benedict Mathurin and Isiah Jackson, in exchange for Ivica Zubac and Kobe Brown.

In his three seasons with the Pacers, Obi Toppin has averaged 10.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.6 assists per game, while shooting 54.7 percent from the field and 37.7 percent from three.

Tyler Herro expected to return from injury ‘in the coming days’

The Miami Heat are coming out of the All-Star break with practice on Thursday afternoon, hopefully bringing back a familiar face who could turn the season around. As the Heat are in the midst of an inconsistent season, it has also been a year that has been filled with questions about what the team’s ceiling really is, with a plethora of injuries, most notably to star Tyler Herro.

Herro had missed the last 15 games in Miami with a condition listed as “right costochondral; ribs bruised”, as more details regarding the injury emerged via the Miami Herald. Herro, who suffered an injury during the team’s loss to the Indiana Pacers on January 10, played the next three games with Toradol shots, but an MRI revealed the severity of the injury.

Fast forward to the present, Herro’s return to gaming appears to be imminent, or in the words of Anthony Chiang, “in the coming days.”

“According to a league source, Herro is recovering from three broken ribs following a buckle rib fracture,” Chiang wrote.

Chiang added, “But Herro will make his return soon, as he is expected to participate in Thursday’s practice and, barring a setback, return to game action in the coming days.”

Heat’s Tyler Herro has “determination” to get through challenging season

While the timeline surrounding the Heat guard was unclear for some time, there is no doubt that it has been a disappointing season for Herro, who has missed a total of 45 of 56 games this season, in addition to missing the last 15 games. He was absent from the first 17 games of the season due to offseason ankle surgery, as he then missed 13 contests due to a toe injury, and then rib injuries.

It’s been challenging for Herro, but he has the “determination” to get everything done, as head coach Erik Spoelstra reiterated to ClutchPoints on Jan. 31.

“One thing I know about Tyler after spending so many years with him is that he’s determined. He’s got grit. He fights and focuses on the things he can control… I’ve always admired that quality of his,” Spoelstra said.

If one thing is for sure, Miami can use Herro’s offense to finish with the team 29-27, which would move them into eighth place in the East. Herro could return for the Heat on Friday against the Atlanta Hawks or on Saturday when the team hosts the Memphis Grizzlies.

Lindsey Vonn shocks fans with high-intensity training video days after rupturing ACL

It is a medical report that would end the season for any other athlete: a completely ruptured ACL, bone bruising, and meniscal damage.

But for Lindsey Vonn, it is simply the latest obstacle in a career defined by them.

Just one week before her highly anticipated return to the Olympic stage at the 2026 Milan-Cortina Games, the 41-year-old American legend has stunned the sports world by refusing to withdraw.

Instead, she is already back on the slopes, testing her stability with a heavy-duty knee brace and the ultimate competitor’s mentality, that has even seasoned orthopedic surgeons shaking their heads in disbelief.

The crisis began last Friday during a World Cup downhill in Crans-Montana, Switzerland. Vonn lost control landing a jump, hurtling into the safety netting at high speed. While she was able to gingerly ski to the bottom, she was eventually airlifted to a hospital.

On Tuesday, standing tall and remarkably without a limp, Vonn addressed a packed room of reporters in Cortina to confirm the severity of the injury.

“I completely ruptured my ACL,” Vonn said. “I also have bone bruising… plus meniscal damage. But my knee is not swollen, and with the help of a knee brace, I am confident I can compete on Sunday.”

On Thursday, just one day before the Opening Ceremony, Vonn shared a workout video that went viral across social media.

Set to Andy Grammer’s “Don’t Give Up On Me,” the footage shows Vonn performing weighted squats, rapid-fire box jumps, and lateral lunges—movements that require extreme ligament stability.

She captioned the video: “I’m not giving up, working as hard as I can to make it happen! Thank you to my team and everyone for your incredible support. Keep believing.”
