The newspaper reports that, after a league and cup double this season, Inter are now moving forward with plans for the future. Manager Christian Chivu’s meeting with the club’s management has already been scheduled.
They want him to sign the papers on contract renewal, before turning to the transfer business. The Italian side want to be strong and have a few wildcards up their sleeve.
Tottenham defender Luka Vuckovic is one of them. He has impressed on loan at Hamburg this season but will return to Spurs in the summer.
Reportedly, he wants to move on whether they remain in the Premier League or are relegated. All the big clubs across Europe have been credited with an interest in the 19-year-old.
Now Inter Milan can be added to this list. They want him to be part of a new look back three, playing on the right. Ronald Araujo is another target at Barcelona.

But neither Tottenham nor Barcelona will allow a cheap exit. Both clubs are ‘targeting high’, with both players valued at more than €50m. Both of them are not alone on the list, but they are ones that Inter would love to have.
Whether Tottenham will approve a deal remains to be seen. All indications are that they will want to talk to Luka Vuckovic first and foremost this summer.
With Cristian Romero and Micky Van de Ven reportedly looking to leave, Vuckovic could be a ready replacement to fill the gap. But it looks like Inter want to try to stop that from happening.
