The Washington Wizards are set to host the Utah Jazz on Thursday night. Is Trae Young going to make his Wizards debut tonight?

Young was transferred from the Atlanta Hawks to the Wizards before the 2026 trade deadline. However, he has yet to make his debut with Washington, as the All-Star guard is dealing with a knee injury that has kept him out of action since late December.

Trae Young’s injury status vs. Jazz

Trae Young is not listed on the NBA injury report and is expected to make his Wizards debut tonight against the Jazz.

The Wizards hope Young and Anthony Davis can lead the team to a postseason run next year. Although Davis is still out due to injury, the next few weeks of the 2025–26 season will give Young a chance to get comfortable with his new team.

At 16-45 and 13th in the Eastern Conference standings, Washington is not going to contend this year. Still, the future is interesting for magicians.

When it comes to the question of whether Trae Young is playing tonight against the Jazz, the answer is yes.

The Jazz played a game against the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday, which they lost 106–102. With Thursday’s contest representing the second consecutive contest for Utah, the Jazz have not released their injury report as of the writing of this story.

The Philadelphia 76ers went into Wednesday night’s matchup against the Utah Jazz missing almost their entire starting lineup, but thanks to an unexpected hero they walked away with a gritty 106-102 victory. While Tyrese Maxey handled the heavy lifting with 25 points, it was Jabari Walker’s breakout performance that caught everyone’s attention and ultimately gave head coach Nick Nurse a reason to smile.

Walker was a force off the bench, tallying a massive double-double with 22 points and 10 rebounds. He was efficient from the floor, making 7 of 12 shots overall and an impressive 4 of 7 from beyond the arc. It was the kind of performance the 76ers desperately needed with Joel Embiid, Paul George and VJ Edgecombe sidelined.

After the game, Nurse explained that Walker’s sudden increase in minutes was no accident. “We’re trying to get him to play like that. Because he’s like, and I’ve said this a lot before, like he’s a really good shooter, you just have to get used to the feeling of the NBA and be good enough to pull the trigger on them and be much better in his last few games and he’s just running.”

Perhaps the most intriguing part of Walker’s rise is his own explanation for his high-motor style. When asked about his emotional nature and hustle dramas, Walker offered a hilarious self-assessment, claiming that people who know him know he is “really kind of crazy”. He joked that there was “something really wrong” with him, but that energy clearly translated onto the court as he helped Philadelphia avoid a two-game losing streak.

The win also included 16 points from Quentin Grimes and a clutch follow-dunk from Adem Bona that tied the game late. For a 76ers team struggling to maintain their playoff position, finding a reliable bench weapon like Walker could be a ray of hope for an injury-plagued week.

As Darius Garland made his debut for the Los Angeles Clippers in a 114-101 win over the Golden State Warriors on Monday night, the star spoke after an outing that was highly anticipated. With Garland coming off the bench for the Clippers in his debut, there is no denying the work he needs to do to refine himself after missing significant time.

In the win, Garland recorded 12 points on four of nine shooting from the field, two of seven from three-point range, to go with two assists and two rebounds, while committing five turnovers. Garland would say that his debut was focused on “adjusting” to his new surroundings.

“Just getting adjusted,” Garland said, according to The Athletic’s Law Murray. “Getting adjusted to L.A., getting to know the people. Getting to know the staff, everyone around the organization, and just trying to get back to me… Yeah, man, it’s definitely good to be out there with the people. Darius Garland’s Clippers debut gets off to a great start

While a toe injury kept Garland from making his Clippers debut since he was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers in a deal involving James Harden, he was rough to start, even drawing major attention from the Warriors on defense.

“Yeah, I wasn’t expecting to get blitzed after a month off,” Garland said, via Murray. “But Steve Kerr always had something up his sleeve.”

After playing more minutes, it was noticeable that the 26-year-old was becoming more comfortable, with Garland even saying he believed the “cobwebs” had been removed.

“That second half, that’s when it really started,” Garland said. “KD [Kris Dunn] Came inside, some big thefts took place. Jordan [Miller] …Yanic [Konan Niederhauser] Played your butt. and ‘whi [Kawhi Leonard] There’s definitely going to be a ‘whi’.

Garland will look to further improve as the remainder of Los Angeles’ season progresses, with the next game coming on Wednesday night against the Indiana Pacers, as the team currently holds a 29-31 record.

Milwaukee Bucks superstar forward Giannis Antetokounmpo, who has not played in more than five weeks, is set to return from his calf injury on Monday night against the Boston Celtics, as first reported by ESPN. He will face a minutes restriction in his first game in more than a month.

As of 1:30 pm ET on Monday, the Bucks have listed Giannis as questionable for Monday night’s game.

Antetokounmpo has not played since Jan. 23, when the Bucks lost 102-100 to the Denver Nuggets. Earlier in the game, Giannis suffered a worrisome right calf strain that sidelined him during the All-Star break and an eventful trade deadline where the two-time MVP was brought up in trade conversations around the league.

Although several teams, including the Golden State Warriors, Minnesota Timberwolves and Miami Heat, held direct talks with the Bucks about a trade for Giannis before the February 5 trade deadline, Milwaukee was never serious in its intent to trade the multi-time All-Star, league sources told ClutchPoints.

The teams that were showing heavy interest in Antetokounmpo never once felt that Giannis being traded in the middle of the season was a real possibility, and the Bucks informed him of this hours before the trade deadline.

Without Giannis, the Bucks have actually had quite a bit of success, winning eight of their last 15 games and moving within three games of the Charlotte Hornets for the 10-seed in the Eastern Conference standings. Cam Thomas, Ryan Rollins and Kevin Porter Jr. have been great playing off each other in the Bucks’ backcourt.

The Bucks are still attempting to make the playoffs this season, and Giannis has made it clear to the organization that he has no intentions of sitting out the remainder of the year. This is why the organization is not following in the footsteps of those finishing at the bottom of the league standings and conceding the season.

With Antetokounmpo returning to the lineup on Monday night against Boston, the Bucks will look to keep their momentum in a positive direction. After their game against the Celtics, who are playing their second game in as many nights, Milwaukee will enter a number of games against some teams with losing records and other teams battling major injury concerns.

There’s potentially a way to find success and move up in the standings, which is why the Bucks and Antetokounmpo are still fighting entering March.

In 30 games this season, Giannis is averaging 28.0 points, 10.0 rebounds and 5.6 assists per game, while shooting 64.5 percent from the floor. Missing more than 17 games this season resulted in him being ineligible for season-ending awards and honors, meaning Antetokounmpo’s streak of seven consecutive All-NBA first-team selections and nine straight All-NBA selections overall has ended.

As part of a three-team trade back at the deadline, the Phoenix Suns acquired Amir Coffey and Cole Anthony from the Milwaukee Bucks. While Coffey has been a part of the Suns’ rotation since his arrival, that is not the case for Anthony. According to NBA insider Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints, a move toward removing Cole Anthony from the roster was always under discussion for the Suns, and according to ESPN’s Shams Charania, the team finally did it on Friday.

Cole Anthony did not join the Suns’ roster after the deadline, and the move allows him to clear waivers by the March 1 buyout deadline and potentially be picked up by another team. Siegel suggests another team could bring Anthony in via a 10-day contract or for the remainder of the season, but there are also some foreign teams that have expressed interest in him. However, at this time, it is likely that he will continue to pursue another NBA opportunity.

With the Suns now having an open roster spot, two-way contract guard Jamari Bouya is a candidate to be converted to a standard deal. The Suns also signed Haywood Highsmith to a contract after acquiring him from the Brooklyn Nets earlier this month.

Anthony was selected 15th overall in the 2020 NBA draft by the Orlando Magic. He played for the Magic for five seasons before being included in the team’s offseason trade with the Memphis Grizzlies for Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. The Grizzlies waived Anthony before the start of the season, and he signed with the Bucks.

Anthony appeared in 35 games for the Bucks at a rate of just over 15 minutes per game. He averaged 6.7 points, 2.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists with splits of 42.4 percent shooting from the field, 30.6 percent shooting from the 3-point line and 61.5 percent shooting from the free-throw line.

Following the same Foamposite construction as classics like the Air Foamposite and both previous Flightposite models, the third version is possibly the strangest looking of the collection.
