Hall of Famer Kevin Nash has message to TKO officials over WWE creative interference

Kevin Nash weighed in on the ongoing conversation surrounding TKO’s involvement in WWE creative, offering one of the most scathing hot takes you’ll ever hear on the latest episode of the Click This Podcast. Nash’s reasoning is simple: Triple H knows what he’s doing, and the executives above him don’t need to get involved.

“(Paul) Levesque has taken over, and everyone loves the direction that this Levesque guy is taking the new flagship WWE program in the Netflix era,” Nash said. ‘And then lo and behold, just like every other business on earth, the bullshit people on top of that who have no clue except how to get paid more, people higher up the food chain decide to start their business where they don’t need it.’

“We’re going to put this guy in. Let’s put this guy in. How about him in the main event? What if we put this guy in? Why would we put that guy in?’ We’ve got a $500 million deal that involves this guy. While we’re at it, let’s make the field look like NASCAR.”

Nash clarified that his criticism was directed at those above Triple H in the TKO structure. Not Levesque himself.

“It doesn’t take anything away from Paul Levesque, because Paul Levesque still knows what he’s doing. If anyone out there feels like this, maybe thinks this might apply to them, how about leaving the f–king company alone? Get your f–king nose out of creative.”

Triple H took over creative control of WWE in 2022 and received widespread praise for the initial direction of the product under his leadership. However, last month, TKO President and COO Mark Shapiro publicly claimed that TKO has full control over WWE creative. WWE’s recent storylines have had mixed reactions, with fans pointing to TKO’s outside interference in the booking process as a contributing factor.

Denver Broncos invite Hall of Fame QB’s son to rookie minicamp

After leading them to the playoffs in consecutive seasons, the Denver Broncos have placed their full trust in franchise quarterback Bo Nix. While Nicks has quickly demonstrated that he was worth the 12th overall pick in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft, Broncos general manager George Payton and head coach Sean Payton also understand the importance of the QB position.

While Nix is an above-average starter, it never hurts to continue evaluating the position, in hopes of acquiring a quality backup and even a developmental prospect who could turn into something more.

On Tuesday, NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo reported that EJ Warner, son of Hall of Fame QB Kurt Warner, has accepted an invitation to the Broncos’ rookie minicamp. This doesn’t mean he has signed a contract with the Broncos, but it does mean Warner will get a chance to compete for a roster spot.

Warner, who went undrafted out of Fresno State, spent the past week at the Kansas City Chiefs’ rookie minicamp. The 5-foot-11, 213-pound QB began his college career at Temple before transferring to Rice in 2024 and finishing at Fresno State last season.

He led Fresno State to a 7–3 record while completing 69.3% of his passes for 2,030 yards, 13 TDs and 11 INTs. Warner is just 22 years old, but before embarking on a highly successful NFL career that included winning Super Bowl XXXIV, he faced an uphill climb to make the roster, just like his father.

Now his son would also like to follow his father’s footsteps unopposed. But EJ is at a severe height disadvantage, which means he’ll have to work even harder to make a lasting impression.

Arizona Cardinals player recruiting future Hall of Famer to join team

Entering the 2026 NFL season, many expect the Arizona Cardinals to be one of the worst teams in football. Not having a defined starting quarterback doesn’t help.

The team’s likely starter Jacoby Brissett recently left minicamp in search of a pay raise. The Cardinals are standing by their position so far, meaning Brissett’s $9.1 million cap hit can remain intact for the final year of his contract, the 2026 season.

The Cardinals also signed Gardner Minshew, who is expected to be Brissett’s backup. However, the Cardinals also added Carson Beck of Miami (FL) in the third round. They also have former undrafted free agent signee Kedon Slovis.

Still, the Cardinals may not be completely satisfied with their QB room. Some people, including players on the team, may still be hoping to see another addition at QB.

Recently, Cardinals wide receiver Kendrick Bourne took to social media to recruit future Hall of Fame QB Aaron Rodgers to Arizona for the upcoming season.

“@AaronRodgers come we are waiting for you.”

Bourne ended the post with eye emojis and a smiley face. Whether it means he is joking is unknown.

Still, it’s not hard to imagine that Bourne was legitimately trying to recruit four-time NFL MVP Rodgers to the Cardinals. The issue is, does Rodgers really want to join a team that is fully prepared for a rebuilding season? Not signing Rodgers could also set the Cardinals up for 2026.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers linked to future Hall of Famer

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers missed the playoffs for the first time in five seasons in 2025. Unlike many others, the Buccaneers did not feel that a coaching change was necessary, at least not at the head coach. Now they are replacing parts of the roster to help them get back to the postseason, but the work is not done yet.

recently, athleticSaad Youssef had an idea that could help fix some of Tampa Bay’s problems. He suggests that the Buccaneers sign future Hall of Fame linebacker Bobby Wagner to a contract.

“The Bucs recently said goodbye to a franchise lifer, as linebacker Lavonte David announced his retirement this week after playing his entire 15-year career in Tampa Bay. The Bucs signed Alex Anzalone in free agency, but they can still do more to strengthen the middle of their defense. Tampa Bay drafted David with the No. 58 pick in the second round in 2012. Eleven picks earlier, the Seattle Seahawks selected Wagner, who turned in what was likely a Hall of Fame career, isn’t the player he was in his peak, but has shown he still has some juice in him.

Bobby Wagner/Buccaneers at The Athletic

Still unsigned in free agency after spending the last two seasons with the Commanders, Wagner is now 35 years old. Still, there’s no doubt that the 14-year pro will add value to Tampa Bay’s defense, as their old starting middle linebacker, Lavonte David, retired after a memorable 14-year career.

Wagner, a six-time All-Pro and 10-time Pro Bowler, surprisingly still started all 17 games last season. He recorded an impressive 162 tackles, 4.5 sacks, four pass deflections and two interceptions.

The Buccaneers may feel they have already found David’s replacement after signing Alex Anzalone to a two-year, $17 million contract. Still, one could argue that the Buccaneers needed another middle linebacker even before David’s retirement. In fact, the addition of Wagner will complement Anzalone and the rest of the Buccaneers’ defense.

Kansas City Chiefs join future Hall of Famer

The Kansas City Chiefs missed the playoffs for the first time since 2014. Other than getting a new return in Super Bowl LX MVP Kenneth Walker III, the Chiefs haven’t made many significant changes that are expected to drastically alter Kansas City’s fortunes in 2026.

Their biggest boost will come in the form of Patrick Mahomes’ return from a torn ACL at the end of last season. Meanwhile, former first-round pick Justin Fields has come in as a very thin security blanket for now. More Mahomes insurance could come later.

Still, free agency isn’t done, and the latest batch of Chiefs rumors links them to a potential future Hall of Fame guard.

According to leading ESPN insider Nate Taylor, Kansas City is a “likely destination” for former All-Pro defensive end Cameron Jordan. The 36-year-old has spent his entire 15-year career with the Saints, but is now a free agent.

Jordan will turn 37 in July, but he is also coming off a very strong season in which he recorded 10.5 sacks, 47 tackles (15 TFL), two forced fumbles and two pass deflections. He has also been extremely durable and has never played less than 16 games in his entire career.

While Jordan has compiled 132 sacks in his career (tied for 22nd on the NFL’s career sack leaders list), he is still looking for his first Super Bowl victory. Perhaps the Chiefs present the best opportunity for Jordan, as well as the chance to see a tremendous amount of snaps.

6 WWE legends we want to induct into the 2026 Hall of Fame class along with AJ Styles, including Ken Shamrock

The WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2026 is well on the way, with AJ Styles, Stephanie McMahon, Dennis Rodman and Demolition announced for induction next month. This is one of the strongest classes for the Hall in recent memory, but what if they could add even more star power? What if WWE makes another change?

Today, we’ll take a look at five names deserving of going into the WWE Hall of Fame and being honored by their peers and fans alike on WrestleMania 42 weekend.

Victoria

Credit: WWE

Victoria doesn’t get enough credit for making women’s wrestling what it is today. She may not have been the most charismatic or had the greatest promo, but when she stepped inside that squared circle, she could go with anyone. More importantly, she can make anyone shine if she wants to.

She helped elevate the women’s division at a time when WWE did not want to do so, and helped create stars like Lita and Trish Stratus. Victoria was also extremely important to the TNA Knockouts division, helping to make it what we know today.

ken shamrock

Ken Shamrock was inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame a few years ago and now it’s time for him to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. He helped change wrestling, as tapping out into submission was not a thing until his arrival. He helped fans see how big the Steve Austin vs. Bret Hart match at WrestleMania 1997 was, as he was an actual element of it with a submission match in which he was the referee.

Shamrock also helped make The Rock a legitimate performer during their feud in 1998. Shamrock brought legitimacy to the game and did so impressively, while not staying around longer than most people would have liked.

mickey james

When we talk about influential wrestlers in pro wrestling and women’s wrestling, Mickie James has to be right up there with those we look up to. She was part of the late Women’s and Divas era. She helped change the way fans viewed women’s wrestling and made it what it is today. James found success in WWE and TNA. Not only did he do it at a high level, but he did so for more than a decade.

bray wyat

Bray-Wyatt (1)

Bray Wyatt will go down as one of the greatest examples of What If? His debut in WWE featured many chapters in a book that most people could only dream about, from winning the WWE Title to feuds with Randy Orton, John Cena and The Undertaker to his legendary feud with The Wyatt Family defeating The Shield.

He was special and unique. Wyatt was just getting started when the world lost him before he could show many different versions of himself.

hardy boys

What better way to kick off the class than featuring one of the greatest tag teams of all time in the form of the Hardy Boyz? Matt and Jeff Hardy literally changed tag team wrestling with the likes of Edge, Christian, and the Dudley Boyz. They have been so influential in the business that they have changed the way fans view tag team wrestling.

The Hardy Boyz have also been a part of historic moments that have helped shape how history is written in a variety of matches and promotions. He has had success in almost every major promotion he has been a part of. Now, it’s time to honor them.

NBA legend Dennis Rodman to be inducted into 2026 Hall of Fame

With just a few weeks left for WWE WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas, Nevada, WWE is also set to organize and host its annual traditional Hall of Fame ceremony. With several notable inductees already announced, the promotion has now introduced NBA legend Dennis Rodman as another Hall of Fame inductee.

ESPN’s Shams Charania previously confirmed on Friday, March 20, 2026, that Dennis Rodman, best known in the wrestling circuit for his numerous WCW matches as a member of the nWo in the 1990s, will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame during WrestleMania 42 weekend. The 2026 Hall of Fame class now includes Stephanie McMahon, AJ Styles, Demolition (Axe & Smash) and Rodman.

According to ESPN sources, “Crossover: Basketball Hall of Famer Dennis Rodman will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in April. Rodman debuted in WCW in 1997 and famously skipped practice for a wrestling match with Hulk Hogan during the 1998 NBA Finals. Two HOFs for Rodman,” Charania wrote.

Rodman was involved in the WCW Bash at the Beach in both 1997 and 1998. He teamed with Hulk Hogan, which included a match against fellow basketball legend Karl Malone and WCW’s Diamond Dallas Page in 1998.

Rodman is often considered one of the greatest NBA rebounders of all time. He is best known for his stints as part of the Chicago Bulls and Detroit Pistons. Rodman played an important role in the 1990s alongside Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen. Rodman, 64, is also known for his appearances outside of WWE and WCW. In 2023, he made a few appearances in AEW and was even in The Acclaimed’s corner at the All Out PPV.

WWE will induct another celebrity into the Hall of Fame in April, but it matters

A new report claims WWE will be inducting another celebrity into its Hall of Fame next month, but this time it’s a nice honoree.

Celebrities being involved in professional wrestling is nothing new, and over the course of its 40-plus years of existence, WWE has mastered the art of using them to benefit the company. WWE loves to include famous people from other industries in its content, seeing music stars like Cyndi Lauper in the 1980s, Lawrence Taylor in the 1990s, and more recently Bad Bunny and Jelly Roll.

They appreciate him so much that they even have a celebrity wing in their Hall of Fame. However, this has always troubled traditional wrestling fans. Especially since many of the people involved, like Drew Carey, William Shatner, or Arnold Schwarzenegger, didn’t really have any meaningful impact on the company and the industry.

Well, it looks like there will be a new celebrity inducted at the 2026 Hall of Fame ceremony. But this man actually deserves respect.

Dennis Rodman to be inducted into WWE Hall of Fame

On Friday morning, ESPN NBA insider Shams Charania surprisingly broke the news that Basketball Hall of Famer Dennis Rodman is expected to be immortalized in the WWE HOF ahead of WrestleMania 42 next month.

For quite some time, WWE has attempted to make its Hall of Fame a true hall of fame for professional wrestling in general. They have included many industry veterans who had no major impact on the brand or who never even performed for the company. Rodman, along with Andy Kaufman, will be the second celebrity to be inducted into WWE’s HOF without appearing for the company.

As mentioned above, most celebrity inductions into the WWE HOF are watched by a select group of fans, but Rodman made a huge impact on the industry in a short period of time in the late 1990s. When WCW was hot, the NBA bad boy broke the mold of celebrity appearances by joining the villainous faction, the nWo.

It was a match made in heaven for the company and the group as it garnered massive mainstream media attention and helped elevate WCW as the top wrestling promotion in the world. Since the great forward was a top star on the Chicago Bulls, the best team in the NBA at the time.

Rodman would compete in three matches for WCW, including a highly successful crossover clash that saw him team with wrestling icon Hulk Hogan against Diamond Dallas Page and his NBA rival, Utah Jazz great Karl Malone. Of the various celebrities in the WWE HOF, Rodman arguably had the biggest impact on the industry.

Bulls legend Artis Gilmore reveals Hall of Famer’s one regret about spending time in Chicago

Prime Documentary Soul Power: Legends of the American Basketball Association Interest in the American Basketball Association (ABA) has increased again. Giving the younger generation the opportunity to learn from the players who fundamentally changed the game. Artis Gilmore was among them.

Gilmore played for the Kentucky Colonels from 1971 to 1976. His 7-foot-2 frame, trademark afro and prowess in the paint made him the quintessential basketball personality of that era. After all, the ABA was the rebel pro basketball league. His trademark red, white and blue balls, high-flying dunks, three-point shots and playground ethos paved the way for what exists today.

Gilmore garnered a lot of praise during that time. In 1972, he was named ABA Rookie of the Year and MVP. Two years later, Gilmore was the All-Star MVP. In 1975, he led the Colonels to the ABA title and was the playoff MVP.

After the ABA/NBA merger in 1976, Gilmore played with the Chicago Bulls until 1982. Twice, the Bulls made the playoffs in 1977 and 1981. Additionally, Gilmore was selected to four All-Star teams and averaged 19.3 points and 11.1 rebounds per game.

However, Gilmore told ClutchPoints he has everything but one regret about Chicago. He wishes he had eventually played with Hall of Famers.

Gilmore said, “It was a really cool experience, but unfortunately, I think about all the players who have had a lot of success.” “Each of those players have two or three Hall of Famers, but I never had that honor during my career in Chicago.”

“You have to have at least three Hall of Famers on the team to have any hope of achieving excellence and making a difference.”

In 1987, Gilmore played another season with the Bulls alongside Michael Jordan.

Artis Gilmore wants his ABA record to be included among NBA records

Since the ABA disbanded, the records set are not included with NBA records, according to The Athletic. ABA teams such as the San Antonio Spurs, New York Nets, Denver Nuggets, and Indiana Pacers were absorbed by the NBA. Meanwhile, teams like the Colonels folded.

Ultimately, the “merger” in 1976 was more of an expansion. Therefore, Gilmore’s achievements have not been formally recognized.

Overall, Gilmore is the ABA leader in defensive rebounds with 11,514. Meanwhile, LeBron James is 7th in NBA statistics with 10,143.

Additionally, Gilmore ranks third in field goal percentage with a .582. He ranks fourth in blocked shots, 3,148, and sixth in total rebounds, 16,079.

Over his ABA and NBA careers, Gilmore has 24,941 career points, 32nd highest. Patrick Ewing is No. 34, and Charles Barkley is No. 36.

Ultimately, Gilmore says he will find peace after he and other ABA figures join the NBA.

“This has been a work in progress for more than 50 years,” he said. “Until that happens, there’s not going to be much discussion of Artis Gilmore and my accomplishments until they tie it all together.”

Artis Gilmore put Jacksonville University on the map

Before his professional excellence, Gilmore made a significant impact on his alma mater, Jacksonville University in Jacksonville, Florida.

In 1970, Gilmore led the Dolphins to an incredible 27–2 record. They made it all the way to the national championship game as the UCLA Bruins were in the midst of a dynasty. The Bruins defeated the Dolphins 80–69 for their fourth consecutive title.

Despite the loss, Gilmore reflects on that period fondly.

“It’s pretty special considering those years and everything that happened at Jacksonville University,” Gilmore said. “Now considering all the other things that were going on in the country, it was an incredible experience.”

Additionally, Gilmore also experienced what it was like to experience it all amid the turmoil of the 1960s and 1970s. He specifically cited playing in Dayton, Ohio, in the first round of the tournament, when race riots occurred at home.

“Just two years before the assassination of Martin Luther King, there were a lot of other negative things going on and we had to be there on the front lines,” Gilmore said. “We could see in Ohio, preparing to play in the first round, there were riots. There was a lot going on, and for us at that particular time in the environment I grew up in, it was extraordinary, extraordinary, and we were happy to be a part of it.”

Jacksonville was one of the first southern college basketball teams to start three black players (Gilmore, Pembrook Burroughs III and Chip Dublin).

The story is told in the documentary Jacksonville who?

Minnesota Vikings surprisingly release potential future Hall of Famer

The Minnesota Vikings had no choice but to make a tough decision in the offseason, where they were $40 million over the 2026 salary cap. Several Pro Bowl veterans have been released from the team, including a pair of defensive tackles, Jonathan Allen and Javon Hargrave, signed in free agency last offseason. But the migration does not end here.

On Wednesday, the Vikings surprisingly also released Harrison Smith from the team. The potential future Hall of Fame safety is expected to either retire after 14 NFL seasons or re-sign in Minnesota at an even lower rate.

He is being processed as a cap casualty after June 1, saving approximately $1.3 million in cap space (exactly needed to sign Kyler Murray), but the Vikings “would welcome his return” according to Matthew Coler. Right now, he won’t take up a roster spot, but his absence leaves a massive void at the safety position next to Josh Metellus in Minnesota.

The Vikings always feared a possible retirement by Smith this offseason, and this could be a precursor to an eventual announcement. For now, the 37-year-old gets some time to decide whether he wants to boost his Hall of Fame resume or begin the next phase in his life, one that will hopefully involve fewer setbacks and injuries.

“He loves this club” – Lewis Hall on Newcastle United star’s injury

Newcastle United captain Bruno Guimaraes missed the club’s UEFA Champions League clash against Barcelona on Tuesday due to injury. His teammate Lewis Hall has already made it clear how much the Brazilian will be missed.

Before the first phase meeting at St James’ Park, Hall spoke tnt sports brazil. The defender was asked about Guimaraes’ importance to Newcastle, especially in moments when the midfielder cannot play.

Timing of the interview matters. Hall’s comments came before the match, with Newcastle already preparing to face Barcelona without their captain.

The game ended in a 1–1 draw. Harvey Barnes put Newcastle ahead in the 85th minute, but Lamine Yamal equalized in stoppage time to seal the Champions League last-16 tie.

What did Lewis Hall say about Bruno Guimaraes?

Hall described Guimaraes as one of the most influential figures in the team and praised both his quality and personality inside the dressing room.

“Bruno is not only an incredible player, but also an incredible person,” He said.

The defender also highlighted the Brazilian’s relationship with the club since his arrival in January 2022, at a time when Newcastle United were still rebuilding.

“I think you can see in his performances and his passion, how much he loves this club.” Hall explained.

Hall also noted how Guimaraes developed into a leadership role at St James’ Park and eventually became captain.

“When he signed, the club was in a difficult situation. And now to have him as our captain and a big player for us is obviously a credit to him.”

Newcastle United missed him against Barcelona

During the interview, Hall openly admitted that Newcastle United were anticipating a difficult night without the midfielder.

“He’s a magical player. He does a lot of things in the game that a lot of people can’t do,” Hall said.

He also made it clear that the team expects Guimaraes to return soon.

“We will miss him terribly, but hopefully he will make a quick recovery and be back as soon as possible.”

The comments were made before kick-off against Barcelona. Afterwards, the match itself served as a reminder of how important Guimaraes is to Newcastle United as they prepare for the decisive second leg.

Eddie Howe will not be disappointed with his team’s performance, although Barcelona’s equalizer was a low blow given how late it came and how it happened.

Newcastle United are still in Champions League contention and will be hoping to keep it strong early on at the Camp Nou. The boost in Barcelona will help the Magpies. Then the goal will be to take advantage of that.

During this time, bruno guimares He is spending some time in Brazil as he fights to make a comeback. The midfielder wants to push back his return date to help his club as the World Cup is around the corner.

Spytech’s first day hall jumpstart reconstruction

For years, covering the Las Vegas Raiders meant bracing yourself. Each offseason brought another round of failure, another shocking roster move, another promising rebuild that somehow turned into rubble before the first kickoff. Names changed, including coach, GM and quarterback, but the results remained disappointingly consistent. Raider Nation deserved better, and they never got it.

Monday felt different. Really different.

In just one day of NFL free agency, general manager Jon Spitek made it impossible to ignore what’s being built in Las Vegas. Armed with $111 million in cap space – the most in the league – and a war chest of draft picks that would make most front offices jealous, the Raiders didn’t just spend money. He spent it deliberately, attacking specific needs with a clarity of purpose that this franchise hasn’t had in a long time.

This conversation started even before the window opened. The Max Crosby trade sent the five-time Pro Bowl pass rusher to Baltimore, but brought back the 14th overall pick in 2026 and a first-round pick in 2027. That’s premium draft capital for a player who, as I wrote last week, was already headed for the exits. This was followed by a low-cost deal to acquire cornerback Tarron Johnson from the Bills for a sixth-round pick. They added a solid nickel corner to the secondary for no charge.

Then Monday came and Spytek pressed the accelerator.

Raiders perform in a big way on first day of free agency

Jon Spytek Las Vegas Raiders Free Agency
Kirby Lee-Images Images

The headliner for Jon Spytek’s big day was Tyler Linderbaum. The former Ravens center, a three-time Pro Bowler who was just 25, signed a three-year, $81 million deal, making him the highest-paid interior offensive lineman in NFL history. This is a significant number, no doubt. But you’re building an offense around Fernando Mendoza, the number one overall pick in April, and you want to give your rookie quarterback the best possible chance to succeed from day one. Linderbaum does exactly that. He’s one of the best centers in football, and now he’s guarding the man who is supposed to be the face of this franchise for the next decade.

This is not overpayment. That is investment.

Wide receiver Jalen Naylor arrived on a three-year, $35 million deal that attracted less attention than it should have. In Minnesota, Naylor spent his career working in the shadow of Justin Jefferson and Jordan Addison. In Las Vegas, he becomes a legitimate weapon in a passing game, which is desperately needed, as the Raiders averaged only 14.2 points per game last season – which ranked last in the entire league. Neller has made 57 catches for 858 yards and ten touchdowns over the last two seasons from the slot. Talent was never the issue in Minnesota. There was no opportunity.

On the defense side, Spytech hasn’t let cap spending slow down. Pass rusher Kwity Payne arrived from Indianapolis on a three-year, $48 million deal, and added legitimate edge presence to replace what was lost in the Crosby trade. Linebackers Nakobe Dean and Quay Walker, former Georgia teammates, both landed in Las Vegas to overhaul a linebacker room that was consistently exploited in coverage last season. Dean, who brings pass rush upside and coverage versatility from his three years in Philadelphia, signed for three years and $36 million. Walker adds athleticism and sideline-to-sideline range on a three-year, $40.5 million deal. Meanwhile, cornerback Eric Stokes re-signed to a three-year, $30 million deal after one of the best seasons of his career, and running back Malcolm Koonce was brought back for another year for $11 million, giving Clint Kubiak’s defense some continuity.

Total spending on the first day was $271 million. In the entire league, no one came close.

Raider Nation is excited but cautious

Now, let’s be honest about what it is and what it isn’t. Free agency wins do not count on the Lombardi Trophy. Each of these players really has to perform, stay healthy and fit into the plan. Spytech needs to strengthen the draft. With six more selections in the first four rounds of this draft including the #1, #14 and 2027 picks for the first time from Baltimore, the margin for error is still real. We all remember what happened to Clellin Ferrell and Henry Ruggs III. No one in Raider Nation needs that reminder.

But what’s going on here is structurally sound in a way this franchise hasn’t been for years. John Spytek knows what he’s making. Kubiak came in with a clear approach to attack. Tom Brady is adding credibility at the ownership and advisory level. And it appears that Mark Davies, to his enormous credit, has stepped back and let the football people run the football operation. This is the only thing worth accepting, because it is not always the case.

The Raiders are putting early points on the board. The offseason doesn’t end there, with the draft in April, where this rebuild either gains real momentum or finds its endgame.

But if you’re a member of Raider Nation and Monday didn’t give you anything to feel good about, you haven’t been paying attention. For the first time in a long time, it looks like the organization knows what it’s doing.

He is nothing. After everything this fanbase has endured, that’s really a lot.

San Francisco 49ers sign potential future Hall of Fame receiver

San Francisco 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan has worked with many outstanding players in his career. Many of them are either in the conversation or on track for the Hall of Fame. 49ers general manager John Lynch has added another to the mix.

According to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, the 49ers have signed wide receiver Mike Evans to a three-year contract. The same Evans who is tied with Jerry Rice as the only players with 11 consecutive 1,000-yard seasons.

Even leaving the Buccaneers is a blow for Evans after spending all 12 seasons of his career in Tampa Bay. Still, the consequences of free agency can be strange, like Tom Brady leaving New England. Still, Evans takes his Super Bowl trophy from Tampa to San Francisco, where he will try to assemble another elite core to help increase his franchise’s Lombardi count.

The 32-year-old six-time Pro Bowl receiver is coming off the least productive season of his career, as a collarbone fracture limited him to just eight games. He recorded 30 receptions for 368 yards and three touchdowns.

Still, Evans brings 13,052 yards and 108 touchdowns to San Francisco. The potential future Hall of Famer is 21st on the NFL’s all-time receiving yards list. Another 1,000-yard season would move Evans to 12th all-time, just ahead of Hall of Famers James Lofton and Chris Carter.

San Francisco 49ers linked to potential future Hall of Fame receiver

There are changes coming to the San Francisco 49ers’ roster this offseason. Especially involving their receiving corps.

Whether it’s via release or trade, the 49ers have already revealed that former second-team All-Pro wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk has played his last snap with the team. Another top target, Jauan Jennings, is set for free agency. Three others, including Kendrick Bourne and Sky Moore, also will not be under contract next season.

However, recently Rick Stroud’s Tampa Bay Times There have been suggestions that the 49ers could be one of the teams that tries to sign Mike Evans. Nevertheless, he also mentioned that the Chargers, Commanders and Giants could also be in pursuit of a potential future Hall of Famer.

Evans has played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers his entire 12-year career. He has recorded 1,000-yard seasons in 11 of those years, with that cut short in 2025 after being limited to eight games due to injury. Evans and Hall of Fame veteran Jerry Rice are the only two players to have 11 consecutive 1,000-yard seasons in their careers.

Now, the 32-year-old six-time Pro Bowler is looking to prove that he is still capable of being a top target, and the 49ers can certainly make him the focal point of their offense. First, they have to get ahead of the competition.

Rumor reveals WWE wants to induct AJ Styles into the Hall of Fame

WWE is reportedly targeting John Cena to serve as the inductee for AJ Styles at the 2026 Hall of Fame ceremony. According to BodySlam.net, WWE officials see Cena as the ideal choice to honor their longtime rival and close friend, provided his Hollywood schedule allows for an appearance.

The induction was announced during the February 23, 2026 edition of Monday Night Raw in Atlanta, Georgia – a special tribute episode dedicated to the career of the “Phenomenal One”. In his home state, Styles gave an emotional retirement speech before symbolically placing his gloves and jacket in the center of the ring. The ceremony took a dramatic turn when the arena went dark and the Undertaker suddenly entered on his motorcycle.

Initially teasing “unfinished business” following their Boneyard match at WrestleMania 36, ”The Deadman” broke character to inform Styles that he would be the second inductee into the 2026 Hall of Fame class. Styles, along with Stephanie McMahon, are the only confirmed names so far for the event.

Brian Alvarez of Wrestling Observer Radio reported that the announcement was a real surprise to Styles, who appeared apprehensive when the lights went off for the first time.

The Hall of Fame confirmation appears to have put an end to the ongoing speculation about Styles’ in-ring future. Following his loss to Gunther at the 2026 Royal Rumble, Styles apparently avoided leaving his gear in the ring, leading to rumors that he might make an eventual run to another promotion like NJPW or TNA.

WWE made great efforts to describe the Rumble loss as the end of his “WWE career”, notably leaving the door open for other ventures.

However, the definitive nature of the Atlanta tribute, coupled with the Hall of Fame nod, indicates that Styles is officially ending his time as an active competitor. Several legends from Styles’ past in TNA—including Abyss, The Good Brothers, and Frankie Kazarian—were present at the broadcast to honor his career.

Arizona Cardinals linked to future Hall of Fame QB

The Arizona Cardinals will have a different feel next season after firing Jonathan Gannon and hiring Mike LaFleur as their head coach. The Cardinals could also move on from franchise quarterback Kyler Murray this offseason.

If the Cardinals part ways with Murray, who has a $52.6 million cap hit in 2026, they will have to add another arm to their QB room. For now, Jacoby Brissett is ready to return, possibly even as the starter after a career year where he threw for 3,366 passing yards and 23 touchdowns in just 12 starts. The only other QB on the roster (besides Murray) is 2024 undrafted free agent signee Kedon Slovis.

Thus, it doesn’t matter if the Cardinals add another QB to the roster; It is a question of who, when and how.

However, now speculation has begun about the Cardinals signing Aaron Rodgers this offseason.

“Currently, it is believed that the Steelers will be the only viable option for quarterback Aaron Rodgers in 2026. But what about the Cardinals? The most obvious link is offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett. The Broncos hired him as head coach in 2022, at a time when it was believed the Packers would be willing to trade Rodgers.”

The future Hall of Fame QB’s ties to Arizona are strong. In addition to Hackett, Coach LaFleur’s brother, Matt, was Rodgers’ head coach for four seasons in Green Bay. Florio says the Rams (Mike LaFleur’s former team) kept Rodgers as their “Plan B” in case Matthew Stafford left last offseason.

Are those connections strong enough to keep Rodgers on a team that finished last in its division with a 3-14 record in 2025? We may find out soon, but the Steelers are expected to have mutual interest in bringing Rodgers back for another year, which could help raise the QB’s price in free agency.
