Danhausen hilariously curses out WWE enemies, or maybe not

Danhausen used April Fools’ Day to revisit every name associated with his ongoing curse gimmick in WWE, launching a series of tweets on Wednesday announcing that each of his previous “victims” had finally been freed from their curse — before immediately lashing out with the same punchline each time.

Since arriving in WWE, Danhausen has made his so-called curse a central part of his character, working his way through a growing list of targets that includes Dominic Mysterio, The Miz, Kit Wilson, and streamer Eyeshowspeed. The running gag has become one of the more entertaining threads of his WWE run, and on April Fools’ Day, he found a way to get another round of profit from it.

He started with IShowSpeed, and set the template that every subsequent tweet would follow: “Hello @ishowspeedsui, you are a damned April Fool hahahahaha.” From there, he proceeded methodically through his list. The Miz was next: “Hello, @mikethemiz, you are the damned April Fool hahahahaha.”

Kit Wilson followed: “Hello @KitWilson_PD you’re a damned April fool hahahahaha.” Dominik Mysterio followed: “Hello @DomMysterio35, you are a damned April Fool hahahahaha.” He kicked things off with Grayson Waller and left the door open for another: “Hello @GraysonWWE and or possibly a little bit of @TrueKofi, you’re a damned April Fool hahahahaha.”

The structure of the social media idea was simple but effective. By entering the names out of order and applying exactly the same punchline each time, Danhausen managed to get everyone associated with his curse gimmick to be acknowledged in a single post, while making it clear that none of the alleged abuses were real.

The curse, naturally, remains largely intact. Along with Mysterio, Danhausen cursed him and Mysterio lost the Intercontinental Title to Penta on a recent episode of Monday Night Raw.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander hilariously roasts Jalen Williams for outfit

The Oklahoma City Thunder are officially the hottest team in basketball, and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander officially has the funniest teammate in the league. Following a gritty 104-97 win over the Golden State Warriors on Saturday night, the Thunder extended their winning streak to five games, but the real fireworks came during the post-game show.

Gilgeous-Alexander had a stellar performance on the court, finishing with 27 points and setting the pace against a Golden State defense that struggled to maintain its rhythm. However, when he was interviewed by the “Inside the NBA” crew, the conversation immediately shifted from his jump shot to Jalen Williams’ wardrobe. Williams, a versatile rising star from Oklahoma City, arrived on the field wearing an outfit described by many fans as a designer poncho.

The TNT crew asked the superstar guard what he thought of the look. Gilgeous-Alexander didn’t hesitate to take the bait, and cheekily compared the high-fashion piece to a common household item.

“Yeah, my wife has one of those at home,” Gilgeous-Alexander said, smiling. “I think they’re called Snuggies. That’s what we call them. You wear them and that night, watch a movie in the Snuggie.”

The “Snuggie” comment quickly spread across social media, highlighting the loose, confident culture that was developing in Oklahoma City. While the team is young, they play with a level of maturity that belies their age, except, perhaps, when it comes to roasting each other’s outfits.

On the field, the Warriors struggled to break into the Thunder’s defense. Despite a spirited effort from Golden State’s veterans, Oklahoma City’s depth and transition play proved to be the difference. With the win, the Thunder continued to solidify themselves as a legitimate threat in the Western Conference.
