Norway remains hopeful armoryMartin Odegaard will be out for long after suffering an injury in the 1-0 Champions League win over Sporting.
The midfielder has struggled with a number of injuries this season, causing him to miss 121 days and 23 matches for Arsenal.
He was injured in Arsenal’s derby win over Tottenham Hotspur in February and was sidelined for over a month. Due to this he also had to miss the international break with Norway in March.
Last month, Norway manager Stele Solbakken He said the 27-year-old has made progress but is unsure about his return date.
The former Real Madrid man returned to action in the Gunners’ FA Cup defeat to Southampton last weekend and also started in the Champions League win over Sporting on Tuesday.

Martin Odegaard has already been injured on five separate occasions this season.
