fulham TARGET Ricardo Pepi has admitted he has put transfer talks on hold until after the World Cup after a roller coaster of emotions earlier this year.

Transfer proposals ignored
The striker has revealed that he wants nothing to do with the transfer at the moment. This is a point he has clearly conveyed to his agent.
He was close to joining Fulham earlier this year, as they initially tried to bring him in in the January transfer window.
Marco Silva’s team returned after the window closed and were close to a deal with PSV Eindhoven. Riccardo Pepi also traveled to Craven Cottage for a medical.
However, the deal could not be completed, as Fulham and PSV could not agree on certain transfer terms. Reportedly, Pepi was extremely disappointed. Now he does not want to discuss any step in the near future.
“Being so close to a transfer that doesn’t have to go through is a rollercoaster of emotions. It’s about staying steady and maintaining balance in your life.” He said.
“To be honest, I always try to focus on what’s next. I just have to play one more match here and hopefully I get a chance at the World Cup.”
“I’m not worried about everything that happens before that. I’m just focused on finishing the season strong. I’m looking forward to getting the chance.”
Fulham will have to wait
Since the Fulham deal collapsed, the striker has made an agreement with his agent not to discuss a potential transfer for the time being. That could change if he shines in the World Cup.
“Yes, 100%, 100%,” He also said about ignoring the proposals.
“Of course, then it may change a little bit, but I still tell him: at the end of the World Cup, at the end of the season, we will have the right time to talk about these types of things. Just let me stay focused and let me finish the season strong.”
It looks like Fulham will have to wait if they are to revive their efforts. Nevertheless, Pepi may keep them away until he is ready to discuss the matter again.
