Jazz Chisholm Jr.

Doc Rivers upsets Milwaukee after 32-point loss to tanking Jazz

If you’re feeling very frustrated with your job, just be thankful you’re not coach Doc Rivers of the Milwaukee Bucks.

Rivers may have lost his voice again after the Bucks suffered an embarrassing 128-96 loss to the Utah Jazz at the Delta Center on Thursday. At one point, Milwaukee was down by 37 points.

The Bucks got off to a sluggish start, with the Jazz outscoring them 30–19 in the first quarter. It was all downhill from there, as they fell to 28–41 in a deer in headlights season.

As Eric Nehm of The Athletic reported, Rivers was brutally honest about his performance after the game.

“We played very badly. Didn’t play with any competitive spirit tonight.”

The Bucks shot only 41% from the floor and were outrebounded 47-35. They reduced their turnovers by 28 points.

When you can’t beat a team that’s already staring at defeat, something is very wrong.

“I thought the first group set the tone. I thought the first group arrived, and everybody in that group was trying to score. It’s so fun, we had a great shootaround today where the ball was moving around. Everything was second act,” Rivers said.

“The first six times, the guy who was supposed to go (in the second act) kept it intact. But at the end of the day, the onus is on me to play them the right way.”

Giannis Antetokounmpo missed the game due to injury management. It was recently reported that the Bucks wanted to lock up Antetokounmpo for the remainder of the season, but the two-time MVP refused.

Ryan Rollins led Milwaukee with 15 points, three rebounds and five assists, while Cam Thomas had 14 points, two rebounds and four assists off the bench.

Is Ace Bailey playing tonight? jazz vs timberwolves injury report

The Utah Jazz face the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday night and Ace Bailey is once again at the center of the injury report. He is listed as questionable under the concussion protocol, putting the Jazz rookie in focus as Utah looks to snap a three-game losing streak.

Looking for momentum heading into the season finale, the Jazz enter the matchup at 20-48, No. 14 in the West. Meanwhile, the Timberwolves, 42-27, come in at No. 6 in the West, aiming to make it back-to-back wins and solidify their playoff position. Here’s everything we know from the injury report about Ace Bailey and his game status against the Timberwolves.

Ace Bailey has been a consistent contributor for the Jazz throughout the season. In 59 games, he averaged 12.4 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.7 assists in 26.7 minutes per game. He is shooting 44.5 percent from the field, 34.9 percent from three and 74.2 percent from the free-throw line. Even as a young unit, Bailey provides scoring balance and spacing on the wing. His ability to contribute on both ends provides Utah with additional structure, especially with several key players sidelined. When he’s available, the Jazz offense flows with more rhythm and flexibility.

Ace Bailey Injury Status vs. Timberwolves

The Jazz’s injury report makes Bailey’s availability even more important. Utah is already shorthanded. Lauri Markkanen (hip), Walker Kessler (shoulder), Jusuf Nurkic (nose), Jaren Jackson Jr. (knee), and Keyonte George (hamstring) are all out. John Conchar (calf) is questionable, while Blake Hinson is out on G League assignment.

Utah’s margin for error becomes smaller with each absence as the team tries to stop its skid and find stability late in the season. The Timberwolves, on the other hand, have not yet submitted their full injury report, but they have already confirmed that Anthony Edwards will miss 1-2 weeks, which will pose a challenge as Minnesota looks to build momentum with another win.

So when the question comes whether Ace Bailey is playing tonight against the Timberwolves, the answer is uncertain. His status will depend on pregame evaluation as the Jazz remain mindful of the need to compete.

DeMar DeRozan battles Father Time with historic line vs. Jazz

Sacramento Kings guard DeMar DeRozan couldn’t believe it when he recently learned he had passed NBA legend Tim Duncan on the all-time scoring list.

Just a few days later, he achieved another impressive feat.

DeRozan finished with a season-high 41 points, including a three-pointer, 11 assists and three steals, to lead the Kings to a 116-111 victory over the Utah Jazz at Golden 1 Center on Sunday. They improved to 18-51.

According to StatMuse, the 36-year-old guard is the oldest player in NBA history to reach that number in a game.

DeRozan has been a bright spot amid another disappointing campaign in Sacramento. He has been a consistent weapon since signing with the team on a three-year, $74 million contract through 2024.

He is averaging 18.8 points – his lowest since the 2012–2013 season – 3.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists this season. Although his numbers have dropped, he still remains a lethal threat on offense, especially during clutch situations.

The Kings have now won three consecutive games and are 4-1 in their last five meetings.

When DeRozan entered the league as the ninth overall pick out of USC in 2009, not many expected him to be among the top 20 scorers. But through his consistency, work ethic and desire, he has maintained his legacy.

If he improves his scoring in the final stages, he will average at least 20 points for the 13th consecutive year.

DeRozan also has a strong chance to surpass NBA icons Dominique Wilkins and Oscar Robertson for 16th place on the all-time scoring list by the end of the season.

The Kings host the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday.

Ben Stiller in New York relieved to remember there was nothing wrong with Jalen Brunson after huge comeback against Jazz

At one point, the New York Knicks’ game against the Utah Jazz was not looking good, as they found themselves in a big loss that almost kept superfan Ben Stiller from watching, before Jalen Brunson’s heroics saved the team.

At the beginning of the game, Stiller took to Twitter to discuss his discomfort in watching the Knicks lose early against the Jazz, writing, “Couldn’t watch for 10 minutes – feels like we finally remembered we’re the NY Knicks.”

Ultimately, New York came out on top, and a lot of that can be attributed to Brunson’s performance. Thanks to Brunson’s performance, they won by 17 points, which initially seemed impossible. He scored 28 points and had four rebounds and eight assists.

Stiller didn’t let his heroics go unnoticed, giving the point guard a shout-out, writing, “Brunson really stepped up [in the] Second half],” after the game.

After the first quarter of the Knicks’ game against the Jazz on March 11, New York was down by 15 points, and lost 41 points. Even at the half, they were down 65–56.

Fortunately, they turned things around in the second half, outscoring the Jazz 40–29 in the third and 38–23 in the fourth. It was a much-needed win on the road for the Knicks, who are just 19-16 on the road this year.

Brunson made the biggest splash, but he wasn’t the only impact player. Karl-Anthony Towns scored 21 points and was extremely efficient, making eight of his 13 shots. OG Anunoby also scored 22 points while making 70% of his shots from the floor and all five of his free throws.

Jordan Clarkson also scored 27 points off the bench. In 26 minutes, Clarkson made 10 of his 15 shots with four free throws. Clarkson is averaging only 8.9 points per game this year, so this was a phenomenal performance for the guard.

Fans turn on Draymond Green, Steve Kerr after miserable losses to Jazz, Bulls

The Golden State Warriors have a lot of explaining to do. On Monday, they fell to the Utah Jazz 119–116, prompting head coach Steve Kerr to advocate for a shortened season. Then on Tuesday, the Warriors lost to the Chicago Bulls 130–124 in overtime. A loss some are characterizing as tanking.

The loss to Chicago was especially painful because of one moment. In the final seconds, Draymond Green fouled Jalen Smith, putting the Warriors ahead 118–116. Ultimately, Smith converted both free throws, forcing the game into overtime.

After the game, Kerr took responsibility for Golden State’s inability to finish and Green’s foul trouble.
Kenzo Fukuda of ClutchPoints.

“It was a foul, I saw the replay, he put his hand in the wrong place, and it would have been a tough shot.”

Still, fans aren’t going easy on Kerr or Green.

“Shouldn’t have even entered the game at that time,” @OloapZurc posted on Twitter.

Another user called on Kerr to resign his post and take Green with him.

“I want this guy to be fired next season and take Drummond with him,” @XKingnas posted on social media.

Then, another fan took it a step further, saying that Kerr should step aside.

“Kerr is taking a lot of the blame as to why the Warriors are losing a lot of games… Maybe then he should have the decency to resign. That’s tantamount to admitting he’s no longer a good coach for this Warriors team,” @JRemeria0218 said on Twitter.

As a result, the Warriors are now 32-33 and have lost three consecutive games.

Jabari Walker reveals unfortunate incident before big night vs. Jazz

Jabari Walker had a career-high performance during the Philadelphia 76ers’ 106–102 victory over the struggling Utah Jazz. The 23-year-old bounced back with a double-double of 22 points and 10 rebounds, helping the 76ers stage a fourth-quarter comeback against now 18-44 Utah.

However, while the game proved to be huge for Walker, an unfortunate incident occurred before that as the 2022 draftee scratched a brand new car earlier.

“I actually had an unfortunate incident happen today. I just got a new car and I was driving it for like 30 minutes and I scratched it. And talk about being in the zone and you know, I just wanted to come to the game and it was an unfortunate incident for me. Mentally I was walking here like, ‘My brand new car that I just got, I scratched it,'” he revealed, according to a post by PHLY Sixers on X.

However, Walker starred for his team in the absence of several key stars, including Joel Embiid, VJ Edgecombe, Kelly Oubre Jr. and Paul George, who is still suspended.

“When I saw the first two 3s go in, I was like, ‘Okay. Okay. This is a whole new world. I got a chance to redeem myself’ so I forgot about what happened earlier today,” he said.
Walker’s night started explosively. During his first stint, he scored 15 points on all five of his shot attempts, including four three-pointers.

While he undoubtedly proved vital, it was once again Tyrese Maxey who led the way with 25 points on 8-of-22 shooting. Quentin Grimes also played a key role, especially late in the fourth quarter.

He finished with 16 points and knocked down two go-ahead free throws with less than 17 seconds remaining on the clock. However, this game will be extremely memorable for Walker for several reasons.

Not only did he return with a career-best score, but he did so on a day that didn’t start off on the best of terms.

VJ Edgecombe MRI confirms back injury, will miss match vs Jazz

The Philadelphia 76ers drafted a legitimate franchise building block last season, but they’ll be without him for at least their next game. According to Kyle Newbeck of PHLY Sports, VJ Edgecombe has been confirmed with a back injury, and will be ruled out of the 76ers’ upcoming game against the Utah Jazz.

The good news for 76ers fans is that the injury suffered by VJ Edgecombe may not be that serious as he is expected to be reevaluated almost immediately before the 76ers face off against the Atlanta Hawks. They play against the Jazz on Wednesday, then have two days off before taking on the Hawks on Saturday.

The No. 3 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, Edgecombe has proven he is one of the team’s franchise centerpieces moving forward. Edgecombe was the frontrunner during the Rising Stars competition at All-Star Weekend. He was named MVP of the event after scoring a total of 23 points in the round robin tournament.

He had the game-winning shot in the Rising Stars semifinals to send his team to the championship game, and then he made a pair of free-throws to seal the victory in the title game.

This season, Edgecombe has appeared in 57 games, all starts, averaging just over 35 minutes per game. He is averaging 15.3 points, 5.5 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.5 steals while shooting 42.7 percent from the field, 36.1 percent from the 3-point line and 80.1 percent from the free-throw line.

The 76ers are currently fighting for position in the Eastern Conference standings. They are 33-28 and are in sixth place in the standings.

Kyle Anderson throws subtle shade on tanking Jazz

For most of his NBA career, Kyle Anderson has played as a contender.

Drafted 30th overall out of UCLA in 2014, celebrated for his throwback, borderline positionless “slow mo” style of play, Anderson has been to the postseason in eight of his first 11 seasons in the NBA, almost guaranteed a ninth run in Year 12 after signing with the Minnesota Timberwolves after being bought out of his contract by the Memphis Grizzlies.

And yet, for nearly half the season, Anderson played on a team that was decidedly not a contender. No, during his run with the Utah Jazz, the team actually went out of their way to make sure he didn’t get a W at the end of the contest, resulting in players like Anderson getting limited runs and DNPs to avoid any upset wins.

While discussing what it was like playing for the Jazz with reporters on Tuesday, Anderson said that although he likes everyone at Utah, he is not a big fan of their lose-first mentality, as he prefers to do everything possible in the pursuit of a win.

Anderson said, “Honestly, I didn’t want to join. I really enjoyed the organization and everyone in the organization was amazing.” “Obviously, you know, playing games without wins gets a little tougher and tougher. I personally didn’t enjoy it, but, you know, the staff, the players, I love the players. The staff is really good, the guys in the organization are amazing. Nothing bad to say about it.”

While the Jazz have been out of the playoff picture for several years now, ever since they traded Rudy Gobert and then Donovan Mitchell after deciding that the duo had reached their peak, Utah hasn’t really had dominant homegrown players to show for their efforts, with the team failing to crack the top-3 over the past decade.

Luckily, they hit a home run with the Lauri Markkanen trade and have pushed more chips into the center of the table by acquiring Jaren Jackson Jr. before the trade deadline, so who knows? Maybe they’ll be back to playing Anderson’s favorite brand of basketball next season.

Jamal Murray’s immediate reaction to 45-point explosion vs. Jazz

The Denver Nuggets have had to deal with a never-ending avalanche of injury problems this season, and that has caused some difficulties throughout the 2025-26 season. On Monday night, the Nuggets found themselves in a surprisingly close game against a shorthanded Utah Jazz team that was without Jaren Jackson Jr. and Lauri Markkanen, and they needed a tough effort from Jamal Murray in the end to earn a 128-125 victory on the road.

The Nuggets had some trouble handling Keyontae George, who scored 36 points on the night. But Murray would say that the Nuggets were never really in danger, because he was the “threat” himself. He went 13-19 from the field and 8-13 from beyond the arc to demolish Utah’s defense for 45 points as he clarify That the Jazz were not going to walk away from this tournament with anything other than participation points.

“Just more decisive. Pushing my range a little bit. They were a switching team, so when I was open, [I had to] shoot it. That’s all we’ve been doing,” Murray told Katie Wing of Altitude Sports after the Nuggets’ win over the Jazz. “I’ve been practicing my whole life. I love getting a chance to show the shots I can make.”

Nuggets to get reinforcements soon

The Nuggets have not been healthy all season, but still, they have a healthy record of 38-24 which puts them in fifth place in the Western Conference.

The goal for Denver will always be to stay healthy because games really matter in the postseason, and it looks like they’re going to be getting reinforcements soon. The injuries of both Aaron Gordon and Peyton Watson will be reevaluated soon, and Cam Johnson should have ample time to recover between now and the end of the season.

But as long as Murray and Nikola Jokic are healthy, the Nuggets can win every game. Now it’s just a matter of finding that rhythm, especially once their key players have recovered.

David Edelman highlights Jamal Murray’s surreal night vs. Jazz

The Denver Nuggets had quite a scare against the Utah Jazz at the Delta Center on Monday. Luckily, Jamal Murray put on his superhero hat and led them to a hard-earned 128-125 win.

The Nuggets snapped their two-game skid and improved to 38–24, including 22–12 on the road.

Murray looked like a secret member of The Avengers, scoring 45 points on 13-of-19 shooting, including 8 of 13 from beyond the arc. He also had two rebounds, eight assists and two steals.

his brilliant performance was not lost On Nuggets coach David Edelman, as shown in video posted by AltitudeTV.

“Jamal was really special. I mean, 45 points on 19 shots,” Edelman said.

This was not the first time Edelman had praised Murray. When the prolific guard dropped a season-high 52 points in December, Edelman was adamant that Murray was “above average,” underscoring the fact that he is largely underappreciated by fans.

The 29-year-old Murray has had a stellar campaign, including earning his first nod to the All-Star Game. His pairing with Nikola Jokic remains one of the most lethal in the NBA, and the Nuggets will go as far as this pairing will take them.

Meanwhile, Edelman praised his players for maintaining composure despite a tough challenge from the Jazz, who lost 18–43.

“I don’t know, I think people judge wins these days. I don’t. Wins are wins. Losses are losses. We would have beaten OKC (Thunder) if (Alex) Caruso missed that three, we lost tonight, what’s the difference? We’re just trying to win, get ourselves to a good place. I’m proud of the guys for sticking with it. There was no nervousness,” Edelman said.

The Nuggets return to action on Thursday against the Los Angeles Lakers.

Is Keyonte George playing tonight? jazz vs pelicans injury report

The Utah Jazz host the New Orleans Pelicans at the Delta Center on Saturday night for the second consecutive game. The Pelicans won 129-118 last time out, with Sadiq Bey having a stellar performance of 42 points, seven assists and five rebounds.

The Pelicans have found momentum recently and are currently on a three-game winning streak. Regardless, the Jazz have once again added Keyonte George to the official injury list, as he is listed as questionable due to a right ankle sprain.

George last played for Utah in a loss against the Orlando Magic and is on the injured list along with several players including Lauri Markkanen, who is out with a strained right hip.
Stroke. Walker Kessler, Jaren Jackson Jr., Jusuf Nurkic and Vince Williams Jr. are also out with various injuries.

For the Pelicans, Yves Missy is listed as questionable, while Trey Murphy III, Dejounte Murray, Trey Alexander and Hunter Dickinson are officially out.

Keyontae George injury status vs. Pelicans

George will once again be a game-time decision but his questionable status suggests he could also play a role. Given their recent form and their 18-41 record, they need to get their guard back fit as soon as possible.

This should be another fast-paced matchup like Thursday night when the Pelicans dispatched the Jazz in Salt Lake City. While both teams are currently tied for the bottom of the Western Conference, New Orleans (18-42) will be hoping to pick up another win.

The Pelicans have won four of their last six contests and if George is unable to play, Utah will once again have to rely on the poor second unit that has kept them afloat. The Jazz bench scored 61 points Thursday, including Ace Bailey’s 23 points and Bryce Sensabaugh’s 20 points.

However, Utah’s biggest obstacle remains their weak defense. The Jazz are currently surrendering 125.9 points per game and will need to be better than in recent weeks to have a chance.

Alpern Sengun mocks Jazz for sweet reverse slam dunk

Alpern Sengun delivered an incredible dunk highlight during Monday night’s clash between the Houston Rockets and Utah Jazz.

Sengun is in his fifth year of his NBA career with the Rockets. He has become one of the best big men in the league, helping the Rockets return to relevance.

His offensive skills, especially his play-making, often come to light. What isn’t often highlighted is his dunking tendencies. That part of his game was on full display during Houston’s contest with Utah. The highlight came in the third quarter when Sengun and Kevin Durant used pick-and-roll action to go it ahead. Durant passed the ball back to his co-star, who took a euro step to get past his defender and then leapt into the air for a reverse dunk.

Perimeter shooting and rebounding made the difference in this matchup. The Rockets won both categories after making 18 3-pointers and grabbing 53 rebounds. It wasn’t the same for the Jazz as they only converted eight triples and grabbed 36 rebounds.

Six players scored in double figures for Houston in the win, including Sengun. He finished with a stat line of 16 points, nine rebounds, nine assists, two blocks and one steal on 7 of 12 shooting from the field. Amen Thompson finished second with 20 points and seven rebounds, Kevin Durant had 18 points and 12 assists, Reed Shepard had 15 points and four assists, while Terri Eason provided 11 points and 10 rebounds.

Houston improved to a 35–21 record on the season and finished fourth in the Western Conference standings. They are one game up on the Los Angeles Lakers and Minnesota Timberwolves. However, they trail the Denver Nuggets on tiebreakers and the San Antonio Spurs by 5.5 games.

The Rockets will stay at home and await their next matchup. They will host the Sacramento Kings as tip-off takes place on February 25 at 8 PM ET.

Cody Williams goes in-depth on brother Jalen’s influence, growth with Jazz

At this point in the season pregame routine logistics such as shooting groups, meals and training table times are largely set. The NBA trade deadline has passed, rosters are largely set, and young players from lottery-winning teams have found their way to each zone. For example, Cody Williams is starting to establish himself as one of the Utah Jazz’s favorites in 2026. It’s easy to see why Will Hardy is leaning into everything going into year two.

It all starts with the soundtrack. About an hour before tipoff against the Memphis Grizzlies, Williams sat in the visiting locker room with headphones on and props to match the gospel night theme. This felt right for the night. It turns out that part of the ritual is never the same twice.

“I can’t do the same thing before every game,” Williams told ClutchPoints. “I have to change it.”

However, unlike his new teammate Jaren Jackson Jr., who once served as the designated locker room DJ on Beale Street, Williams isn’t going to be commanding the team’s aux cord. Even joking suggestions are being kept to a minimum until Jackson Jr. returns from knee surgery.

“I don’t have nothing for (Jarren Jackson Jr.) right now,” Williams admitted. “I don’t have the power to play music, so I just sit here and listen to it. In fact, most people have their headphones on before the game.”

What plays through those headphones depends entirely on the moment.

“It depends on the mood,” Williams shrugged. “Before some games, I’ll put on some R&B and calm, some old school Anthony Hamilton, some gospel like Kirk Franklin. It really depends on the mood and what type of day it is. Like, how I’m feeling before that game is what I’ll play. Sometimes I’m putting on Nirvana, Green Day and a bunch of those bands.”

An eclectic mix that defies categorization traces his earliest exposure to music.

“I’ve got good taste in music,” Williams said defensively as a few teammates listened in. “My music is very diverse, shout out to my mom. She listened to a lot of old soul stuff.”

Music truly is a window into the soul; This shows how Williams carries herself. Loose, humble, down to earth, yet confident enough to be curious and make mistakes. It’s also the only way to get better at the game. However, the headphones come in for the shootaround, as Williams wants to absorb everything. It’s more important to be able to interact with coaches and cheer on teammates. Everyone knows Williams is there for them, even if his playlist is everywhere.

Those traits can’t be denied after just a few minutes with the former first-round pick, so a year three jump wouldn’t be surprising to anyone in the front office. Still, in a league known for its rap and hip-hop connections, Williams is also learning some new tunes.

“Lucki is definitely my favorite new artist,” Williams shared. “Whenever I need a new rap, I go into his catalog and listen to it.”

The 21-year-old’s support system extends far beyond her mom’s CD binders. At center stands his brother Jalen, the Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star who recently captured an NBA championship.

“Thank you so much to my brother (Jalen). He’s been my best wingman and biggest inspiration through this whole thing,” Cody said. “I definitely wouldn’t have been able to do a trip like this without him. He’s a good punching bag. I beat him up a lot, but he gives me survival tips.”

Jalen’s rise from unheralded Santa Clara product to lottery pick to champion has provided a blueprint. Now Cody has started to find his feet. Since dropping 18 points on New Year’s Day, Williams has averaged 8.3 points, 3.4 rebounds, 1.2 assists and 1.7 steals/blocks while shooting 52.5% from the field.

This recent increase in production is just part of getting comfortable at work.

“I think I’m getting a really good idea of how I can impact the team as a whole,” Williams explained. And how can I be effective on the court. It’s just playing to his strengths and weaknesses, especially on the defensive end. Then it’s putting a lot of pressure on the rim offensively. This way I can play in my position and help the team. I feel like I can understand my game more as the season has gone on, which is why I’ve been able to play better.

Despite increasing comfort levels, some things haven’t changed since we dreamed of this moment in childhood.

“I still get butterflies before games,” Williams admitted. “I’m so excited to go out there, to have this opportunity to live a dream. I don’t know if this feeling will ever go away, just because I really love what I do. I don’t even call it a job because it still feels like a dream. I still feel like a little kid every time I jump the ball. Everything about it is so exciting.”

For a Jazz franchise in the midst of a deliberate rebuild, that kind of enthusiasm from a young cornerstone is exactly what the organization is counting on. If the past several weeks are any indication, Chance, armed with headphones and an extensive playlist, is beginning to figure out how to turn that enthusiasm into production.

Colin Cowherd claims Jazz fans don’t mind tanking

Entering the second half of the season, the Utah Jazz have the third-worst record in the Western Conference at 18–38. With their deteriorating situation, the Jazz must be eager to get back on track and show signs of improvement.

or are they?

With their chances of winning a title penciling in on dietary restrictions, many believe the Jazz are ready to tank and get a better shot at going No. 1 overall in next year’s draft.

For sports commentator Colin Cowherd, it seems like the guys in Salt Lake are totally fine with sucking up this season.

“I think the Utah fans, who almost have a collegiate experience because it’s a smaller NBA market, I think they’re into it. I think they know it. I think they go to the games and enjoy it with their friends, but if you ask them if you can get the number two pick or the number 14 pick, they’ll take number two,” Cowherd said on his podcast.

“Utah has been bad for several years. What does another 12 games or 26 games mean at the end of the year?”

The NBA recently fined the Jazz $500,000 for “compromising the integrity” of the league by keeping their healthy players on the bench. Lauri Markkanen and Jaren Jackson Jr. did not play in the fourth quarter of their games against the Orlando Magic and Miami Heat last week. Utah lost both games.

Jackson is now out for the season as he plans to have surgery on his left knee.

Last year, the Jazz took the No. 5 overall pick, using it on Ace Bailey. In 2024, he went 10th overall, surpassing Cody Williams. They were taken No. 9 overall in 2023, passing up Taylor Hendricks, who is now with the Memphis Grizzlies.
