
All-NBA talent Anthony Edwards of the Minnesota Timberwolves has been tremendous this season and is currently under consideration for the NBA’s “Clutch Player of the Year” honors. He has a disagreement with the league itself, but sponsor Adidas is supporting its star athlete by covering all his fines this upcoming season. Edwards may have broken some similar color codes when wearing his latest Adidas AE2 sneakers in wild hues.

The adidas AE 2 first arrives in May 2025 following the hugely successful debut adidas AE 1 as Anthony Edwards has been promoting his new creation throughout the season. We’ve already seen several special colorways and concepts revealed, which Edwards often wears during games or warmups.
His latest on-foot look came against the Denver Nuggets as Edwards debuted the AE2 in arguably the most colorful scheme we’ve seen of all his signature looks to date. Initial reports indicate that black/multicolor The pair will arrive in the coming weeks.

Often coming in monochromatic or simple colors, this new look of the Adidas AE 2 features a predominantly black colorway punctuated by panels of neon or “highlighter” colors. We see a vibrant pink, blue, green and orange color combination along the front toe panel extending across the sneaker’s support system. The rear heel tells a similar story as mismatched laces complete the look.
The adidas AE 2 “Black/Multicolor” is expected to hit retailers on March 7th, 2026 for an estimated retail tag of $130. The shoes will be sold through Adidas and select Adidas retailers, so keep an eye out as stock may be limited!
