When play resumed after the goal, Stankoven wasted no time in trying to get a hat trick – firing the puck over Flyers goaltender Dan Vladar immediately after winning the following faceoff. He didn’t get that third goal, but the Snapperjacks certainly tried, tying Sean Couturier on goal for a game-leading five shots.

Frederik Andersen earns second shutout of postseason campaign

However, Stankoven certainly wasn’t the only standout in the match.

Throughout his 60 minutes on the ice, Frederik Andersen turned away every shot he faced en route to a 19-save shutout. During an empty-net situation, he also responsibly missed a potential goaltender’s chance with clear ice ahead. He may have taken a tripping penalty against Porter Marton, but he produced an incredibly disciplined performance in the Hurricanes’ 3–0 win.

Saturday night is fight night’

It was the first misconduct of Jackson Blake’s NHL career, and the second misconduct of Zegras’ postseason following a Game 4 loss to the Pittsburgh Penguins in Round One.

Less than two minutes later, Shayne Gostisbehere and Seiler were both given 10-minute misconducts for their moment of scuffling after an offside whistle.

By the end of the game, both teams had a combined 34 penalty minutes, equaling 68.

However, some of the names listed above may not actually be available. It is questionable whether the Jaguars are willing to deal Thomas with the 23rd overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. Still, a stronger offer could change Jacksonville’s mind.

On Wednesday evening, the Chicago Bulls will hit the road to take on the Philadelphia 76ers as the 2025-26 season concludes. The Bulls are coming off one of their most impressive wins of the season by defeating the Houston Rockets despite a big win from Kevin Durant on Monday evening.

Heading into the matchup against the 76ers, the Bulls have a busy injury report. Zach Collins (toe surgery), Noah Esengue (left shoulder surgery), and Jaden Ivey (left patellofemoral pain syndrome) have already been ruled out of the contest.

Meanwhile, Effernie Simmons is suspected with a left ulnar styloid fracture, as is Isaac Okoro, with right patellofemoral pain syndrome. Guershon Yabusele is also questionable with a left ankle sprain.

For the 76ers, Joel Embiid is questionable with a right oblique strain, while Quentin Grimes is also questionable with an illness. Tyrese Maxey and Kelly Oubre Jr. will be out with various injuries, while Paul George is back in the lineup after serving a league-imposed 25-game suspension.

Overall, the Bulls don’t have much to play for as the 2025-26 season reaches its home stretch outside the lottery odds, but the team is still hoping to finish strong, and they got off to a good start in that department with their win over the Rockets on Monday.

On the second night of a back-to-back, the Mavericks would rule out Daniel Gafford due to rest after he finished with 22 points and 14 rebounds against the Grizzlies. PJ Washington is listed as questionable with a sore left ankle, and Najee Marshall is listed as questionable with a sore left foot.

On Monday evening, the Golden State Warriors’ losing streak continued with a blowout loss at home to the Los Angeles Clippers. The Warriors controlled the game for most of the season, but fell behind in the fourth quarter, trailing by 15 in the final frame and losing the game 114–101.

Now, things have gone from bad to worse with some tough news on the injury front regarding shooting guard Moses Moody.

Dalton Johnson of NBC Sports Bay Area, formerly of the Ax, reported on Twitter, “According to Steve Kerr, Moses Moody jammed his right wrist and hurt his shoulder.” “The Warriors will know more about his condition tomorrow.”

It’s a tough break for a Warriors team that was already weakened from an injury perspective, with Stephen Curry out for most of the last month with a knee injury, and Jimmy Butler already out for the year with a torn ACL.

Moody is enjoying a good season for the Warriors, hovering around 40 percent from beyond the arc throughout the campaign, and he’ll certainly be hoping these injuries aren’t too serious.

Currently, the Warriors are 31-30 on the season, and if the regular season ended today, they would be in the Western Conference play-in tournament for the third consecutive year.

Making matters more frustrating for Golden State is that recent trade acquisition Kristaps Porzingis, whom the team brought in from the Atlanta Hawks in exchange for Jonathan Kuminga, has played just one game for the team as he battled an illness.

Kuminga, meanwhile, has had a great start to his tenure in Atlanta.

In any case, the Warriors next face off on Thursday evening when they hit the road to take on the Houston Rockets.

The New York Knicks released their latest injury report on Saturday ahead of their matchup against the Houston Rockets, listing several players with designations as the team prepares for tipoff at 8:30 p.m. ET on ABC.

New York (35-21) will host Houston (34-20) at Madison Square Garden while managing a report that includes one confirmed absence and several questionable designations largely tied to G League assignments and two-way contracts.

Miles McBride is officially listed out with injury/illness as he recovers from pelvic-related core muscle surgery. The 25-year-old guard last appeared in the Knicks’ 103-87 win over the Sacramento Kings on Jan. 27. He recorded nine points, four assists, two rebounds and two steals while shooting 4-for-11 from the field and 1-for-6 from three-point range in 30 minutes.

Before surgery, McBride was enjoying the best season of his career. In 35 games with 14 starts, he averaged 12.9 points, 2.8 assists and 2.6 rebounds per game, while shooting 43.4 percent from the field and 42 percent from three-point range in 28 minutes per contest.

Multiple Knicks listed questionable as team looks to bounce back against Rockets

The Knicks also listed Pakom Dadiot (G League – on assignment), Trey Jamison III (G League – two-way), Dillon Jones (G League – two-way), Tyler Kolek (G League – on assignment) and Kevin McCullers Jr. (G League – two-way).

The 24-year-old Kolek last appeared in New York’s 138–89 win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Feb. 11. He finished with three points, three assists and two rebounds while shooting 1-for-4 from the field in 10 minutes. In his sophomore season, Kolek averaged 4.9 points, 2.9 assists and 1.9 rebounds in 48 games with one start, shooting 42.3 percent from the field and 36.4 percent from three-point range in 13.3 minutes per game.

New York enters Saturday’s contest hoping to bounce back from a 126-111 loss to the NBA-leading Detroit Pistons, who improved to 41-13 with Thursday night’s win.

Following the Rockets matchup, the Knicks begin a three-game road trip Sunday against the Chicago Bulls (24-32). Tipoff for that game is scheduled for 8:00 pm ET.

Saturday’s meeting will feature the league’s two top teams in their respective conferences, with both clubs entering the loss column just one game apart.
