Paul George spoke to the media for the first time since his suspension, and according to Kyle Neubach of PHLY Sports, the 76ers star did not provide specifics about the reason for the suspension. But he revealed that he had been struggling with a knee problem which made the suspension almost a blessing in disguise.

George is set to return to the 76ers lineup when they host the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday. They are currently 39-33 and looking to get back in the win column after losing their last game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Before the suspension, George had appeared in 27 games for the 76ers, playing just over 30 minutes per game. George himself said after the suspension that he had taken “inappropriate medication” for a mental health issue, claiming that he wanted to take time to put his body and mind in the best possible condition for his return.

I take full responsibility for my actions and apologize to the Sixers organization, my teammates, and Philly fans for my poor decision-making during this process,” the 76ers forward said.

George is eligible to return with approximately 10 regular season games left before the playoffs against the Chicago Bulls on March 25. Along with the suspension and a fine of approximately $11.7 million, George had missed 32 games by that point in the season.

Player agent Rich Paul will once again be raising quite a few eyebrows after his latest bold move in regards to the NBA.

Paul, who represents Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James caught attention since then launch His podcast with former ESPN host Max Kellerman led many to point out a conflict of interest.

On the latest episode of “Game Over”, Paul revealed his true feelings about being the so-called Big Three in the NBA.

“I just think, we talk about the Big Three, right? The Big Three Is advanced. the big three Is Not three big name players. The Big Three in today’s NBA are the president/general manager, the coach, and the star player. This is where the Big Three are focused. When you have that, it spreads throughout the team,” Paul said.

While the star-studded trio has long been a part of the league, it came to the forefront negatively in 2010, when James teamed up with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh on the Miami Heat. He won two championships.

Now, the 41-year-old James has a talented trio on the Lakers with Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves.

Paul said he was willing to turn the team’s second-best player into a “great team president” and the third-best player into a “great coach.”

“First of all, it depends on who the second best player is. If the second best player could be the first best player, like (Jason) Tatum or (Jaylen) Brown, then the answer is no. But if the second best player is not an All-NBA-caliber player, then the answer is yes,” Paul explained.

Recently, the NBA world was stunned to learn that famous point guard Chris Paul will be retiring from the game in the middle of the 2o25-26 season. The news came after Starr was released by the Toronto Raptors, ending any possibility of a retirement tour he had hoped to do.

Now, Paul is reflecting on his Hall of Fame career, specifically his time with the Los Angeles Clippers, while taking a ride in a Waymo self-driving car via JD Dyer.

According to “When I think about legacy, I always say if people remember me for what I did on the basketball court, that means I didn’t do much.”

Paul actually spent the prime years of his career with the Clippers during the 2010s, although he also spent several stints with the New Orleans Hornets before that. Paul rejoined the Clippers ahead of the 2025-26 season, but was surprisingly released from the team a few months ago reportedly due to friction between him and head coach Ty Lue.

Paul previously announced that the 2025-26 season would be his last, paving the way for a Kobe Bryant-esque retirement tour, but that ended with his sudden dismissal from the Clippers.

Although his career obviously didn’t end the way he would have hoped, it will never take away from Paul’s standing as one of the greatest point guards of his generation, elevating every team he joined and coming close to winning a championship with the 2021 Phoenix Suns.

This is probably a guarantee that he will be in the Hall of Fame in his first year of being eligible.
