“We have already talked about this in recent days,” he said.

“He made these statements without any intention of causing problems at Chelsea. He is the captain, one of the leaders of the team, and he has shown his best form on the pitch this season. He was simply talking about a city.

“Then in a short period of time there were a lot of interviews where he talked about his future. The media mixed things up and started saying he was going to leave Chelsea. There is absolutely nothing to it.”

Pastor stepped forward and confirmed that Chelsea, Enzo and their camp have aligned their positions.

“We are on the same thing with Chelsea. We made peace between Chelsea and the player yesterday and the day before yesterday. There was never really any problem. We have cleared the situation.”
