“The whole picture is interesting” – Player ready for Wolves move even in Championship

FC Twente defender Bart van Rooij has indicated he is open to joining wolverhampton wanderers This summer, even after falling behind in the championship.

Twente Insight Report Comments Today from full-back. He is talking to Voetbal International journalist Geert-Jan Jacobs.

ready for the next step

The 24-year-old right-back has enjoyed a stellar campaign for the Dutch side, establishing himself as one of the key players to achieve European football. He was even captain in the absence of Robin Propper and Ricky van Wolfswinkel at various periods.

Now, he is ready to take a step forward. He almost arrived in the January transfer window, with Wolves keen on his signature.

They were willing to pay €10 million for his signature, but Twente rejected the offer. Technical director Jan Streuer did not want a winter departure of one of his key players.

Van Rooij made it clear at the time that he was keen on the move. This raised eyebrows, given that Wolves were bottom of the Premier League and destined for the Championship.

Wolves’ offer is still interesting

With their demotion long since confirmed, Rob Edwards’ side are now focused on rebuilding for life in the Championship and, hopefully, a return to the Premier League.

However, Van Rooij is not worried. In fact, he was keen on a move to Molineux even with the Championship imminent.

He said, “I believe I’ve proven that I can handle this level, that I can excel here. Now I’m eager to see if I can take it a step higher.”

You can find out by experiencing it. Who knows, maybe I’ll get that chance this summer. If not, I’m sure it will happen in a year.

“If you look at Wolves’ position in the standings, it wasn’t really ideal. But I found the whole picture interesting.

“They wanted to build a team that could compete at the top of the Championship next season, which is also a fantastic league. I could gain experience in the Premier League during the first few months.”

Manchester United are going to sign the Elche star in the picture – the €20m fee is reasonable for the Red Devils

Manchester United target David Affengruber
Manchester United target David Affengruber

Manchester United Elche is one of the clubs pursuing CF’s David Affengruber for the summer.

After a spell at Sturm Graz, the Austria international joins the La Liga team on a free transfer in 2024.

At the time, Elche were in the second division and the centre-back played a key role in helping them secure promotion. He played 40 matches in the Segunda División last season

The defender has continued to shine for Elche this season and has attracted the attention of Manchester United.

His La Liga statistics this season are as follows:

  • Appearances: 30
  • Start: 27
  • Total minutes: 2,442
  • Minutes per game: 82
  • Interceptions per game: 1.4
  • Tackles per game: 2.1
  • Balls recovered per game: 4.4
  • Clearances per game: 4.8
  • Duels won per game: 5.0

Manchester United joins La Liga

Many clubs in Spain and abroad are keeping a close eye on David Affengruber. is according to sports worldAnd Manchester United belongs to the latter category.

The Elche CF manager takes a liking to the 25-year-old and insists he has to represent Austria at the World Cup.

“If he doesn’t go to the World Cup, it will be one of the biggest injustices in football history,” He said.

“We were on the bench, we had the last substitution, and I could see he was tired. But I told him he has fighting spirit and hunger. When the football isn’t enough, Affengruber is there. He motivates the team, especially when you have that animal behind you. It’s a team win, but given their league-leading position, it was especially important.”

The newspaper then looks at Atletico Madrid’s interest in the defender. Earlier this week, he scored a goal and assisted in his team’s 3–2 win over Los Rojiblancos.

He impressed Diego Simeone’s team, who could include him on their target list for the summer.

The Austrian has already proven himself in La Liga and has ‘great international potential’, which makes him attractive in the market.

Atletico are not the only club to show interest in him, with Manchester United, Villarreal, Real Betis and Sevilla also keen. These clubs are now keeping a close eye on the player.

Elche, for their part, value Affengruber at around €20m. This should certainly be fair to the Premier League side.

There are other central defenders on Manchester United’s radar. Earlier this week, Sport Witness Covered claims from Portugal The Red Devils are keen on Sporting’s Goncalo Inácio.

Contract, price and agent information

The player will have one year remaining on his contract after this season. Without renewal, the summer window will be the last chance for Elche to earn good fees from its sales.

Agent on the job as Manchester United come into picture for midfielder – deal would be €30m gamble

Tune Coupmans

Manchester United He is in the mix for Juventus’ Taun Koopminers, who has never managed to make an impression in Turin.

the old lady paid €52 million to sign the Dutchman from Atalanta in 2024. Since then, his career has declined and the midfielder has never been at his best.

Under Luciano Spalletti, he had a renaissance of sorts, operating at left centre-back in the back three. This has not proven to be enough, as the Italian has only recently started using him in midfield, causing him to sit on the bench twice in his last three Serie A games.

sports witness The Premier League’s interest in the Koopminers has been covered before. That was before he moved to Turin and was thriving in an advanced role at Atalanta.

Now, Manchester United has emerged as a contender for him.

The Red Devils face Galatasaray in the competition

tuttosport Take a closer look at the Netherlands international, who is one of the candidates to leave Juve in the summer.

To avoid capital loss, Spalletti’s side wants at least €30m for exit clearance. The big challenge for them is to find fans after a difficult two seasons.

The newspaper believes that Manchester United is willing to take the risk. They will compete with Galatasaray for Koopmans, whose agent Bart Baving was in Turin on Monday to clarify his client’s future.

The Bianconeri believe his resurgence in a defensive role was only temporary. They are looking to improve their midfield next summer and feel the 28-year-old’s departure will give them enough space to sign a potential replacement.

Spalletti is of the same opinion, as evidenced by how he benched the Koopminers for league games this month.

Our Opinion: The deal would be a big gamble

In general, there has been little doubt about Koopmeiners’ technical ability since his time at AZ Alkmaar.

At Atalanta, he played in a very specific man-for-man system, which singled out technically rich players. This helped the Koopminers to score more and utilize their strengths in the final third.

Now, he finds himself confused and unsure of his best position. In the Netherlands, he was often a defensive midfielder and also operated at number eight.

That’s why this deal would represent a huge risk for Manchester United.

Michael Carrick’s side are in need of a midfield signing and even though Koopmeiners will add technical ability, they should ideally invest in a player whose stock is rising. Despite his obvious potential, the Dutchman’s stock is falling.

Manchester United and Tottenham are ‘exclusively’ in the picture to sign the South Korea international

Manchester United And Tottenham Hotspur Keep Besiktas’ Oh Hyeon-gyu on your radar for the summer.

The Turkish club invested €14m to sign the striker from KRC Genk in the winter market. The move is working well, so much so that Manchester United and Tottenham have taken notice.

This season, Oh Hyeon-gyu scored 10 goals and five assists in 32 matches for the Belgian club.

Since moving to the Istanbul club, he has scored seven goals and provided two assists in 10 matches.

His Super Lig statistics are as follows:

  • Appearances: 9
  • Start: 9
  • Total minutes: 802
  • Minutes per game: 89
  • Target: 6
  • Help: 1
  • Expected goal: 2.87
  • Expected Support: 0.54
  • Shots on goal per game: 1.3
  • Big chances made: 2
  • Big chances missed: 3

turkiye Now report on the Premier League pair as new suitors for the South Korea international and cover the latest.

Besiktas’ initial plan was for him to become a backup player for Oh Hyeon-gyu, but plans changed after he scored and assisted in his debut against Alanyaspor.

He managed to score a goal and an assist again in the second match against Başakşehir and also scored in the third match against Göztepe.

In short, the 24-year-old ‘exploded’ for the Black Eagles, forcing them to change their plans for him. This did not go unnoticed, especially in England, where the Red Devils and Spurs are his supporters.

It has been claimed that Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur ‘in particular’ are keeping a close eye on him.

At the moment, it has not progressed beyond looking at the South Korean as English clubs have not yet contacted his agent or Besiktas.

The Istanbul club hopes that the frontman’s value will further increase after his participation in the next World Cup.

Our opinion: Son could help Spurs

He spent 18 months at Celtic before leaving for KRC Genk in July 2024. exposed his compatriots And former Spurs star Son Heung-min advised him to leave Celtic Park.

Currently, Roberto De Zerbi’s team is keeping an eye on Oh Hyeon-gyu. If they decide to make concrete progress, Tottenham Hotspur could approach Son to help convince the player.

Oh Hyeon-gyu’s contract expires in 2029, and transfer market He is worth €15 million. Having invested €14 million, Besiktas will demand more to make a profit in the event of a sale.

Apertura Sports GmbH, owned by agent Martin Rath, manages the player. The German agency mainly represents South Korean players.

Devils Head Coach Picture; GM Drama; toronto mess

Well, the offseason has arrived somewhat early for some organizations. And I don’t mean because they’ve been mathematically eliminated. For the second time in as many nights, and the NHL organization has made a major change to its personnel, leaving New Jersey Devils fans wondering if they will follow through.

However, if I were you I wouldn’t hold my breath.

Also, big mess in Toronto.

New Jersey Hockey Now: As soon as Bruce Cassidy was let go on Sunday, a few people immediately messaged me asking if I thought he would be a good fit for the New Jersey bench. Well, here’s why I’m not so sure about it, as well as why Sheldon Keefe may not be going anywhere.

And there is a man who is going to take this decision. Or…is there? At this point, I’m not expecting Tom Fitzgerald to be fired as Devils GM. However, could he be stripped of his presidency?

On Sunday, not only did the Devils celebrate a win, but so did Nico Hischier. If you can believe it, the Devils captain has already skated in his 600th NHL game. Our own Pat Pickens captured the moment and received lots of praise from teammates and coaches.

Chelsea ready to submit ‘huge offer’ for Serbia international – picture shared, transfer on the cards

Strahinja Pavlovich

Chelsea want to bring AC Milan’s Strahinja Pavlovic to the Premier League in the summer.

The centre-back’s development has caught Chelsea’s attention, and the Blues are ready to make a concerted effort.

The 24-year-old’s performances for the Rossoneri have caught the attention of Chelsea calciomercato.it Now cover the latest.

Chelsea ready for solid progress

Fast forward to March and calciomercato.it now covers Liam Rosenior’s keen interest in the central defender.

After a mixed debut season at the San Siro under Paulo Fonseca and Sergio Conceicao, the player has established himself as a key player for Massimiliano Allegri this season.
This comes at a cost as Milan have to be wary of the interest of Club World Cup winners.

calciomercato.it report ‘a big offer from Chelsea’ as they are willing to pay around €40m for the former Monaco man.

The quoted fee allows Allegri’s side to make ‘significant capital gains’ in the summer, but they appear unwilling to sell him. Therefore, the west London club will have to convince Milan to give them the chance to obtain the signature of Strahinja Pavlovic.

Picture: Players getting off the plane at the airport for a Fulham medical

Fulham target Ricardo Pepi
Arnhem, Netherlands. Riccardo Pepi during the match between Vitesse and FC Groningen at the Gellédome. Fulham are not giving up on goals.

Fulham are close to signing Ricardo Pepi, who is traveling to London for a medical ahead of a move to PSV.

Report by journalist Cesar Luis Merlo Pepi will sign with Fulham until June 2031. Fulham have agreed a €36m transfer fee with the Dutch side.

€36m deal agreed

The charges are consistent with multiple reports Confirming that Fulham and PSV Eindhoven have already reached an agreement.

Cameras caught Pepi at the airport with his agent, Jaime Garcia of Starting Eleven Player Management. This is for a scheduled medical before the journey can proceed.

Why do Fulham want Pepi?

Fulham hope that Pepi will officially join Marco Silva’s squad after the World Cup, providing the Premier League team with a major attacking reinforcement ahead of next season.

Raul Jimenez is out of contract this summer, and Fulham hope he will leave. They are drafting Pepi as a key part of their next offensive rebuild.

The 23-year-old has emerged as one of PSV’s standout performers this season. Despite injury problems, he has registered 15 goal contributions so far. His performances have attracted interest from the Premier League.

January interest and deal success

Fulham have long placed themselves at the front of the queue for Pepi’s signature.

He pushed to sign Pepi in the January transfer window. PSV initially held firm in January but later admitted they were tempted by the offer.

The two clubs continued talks after the January transfer window and a deal has now been agreed. It appears that personal terms have now been agreed upon, with only the medical remaining.

Now, Fulham look set to finally get their man. Pepi’s arrival would underline the London club’s ambition to invest heavily in a high-ceiling striker entering his prime. But the challenge will be whether that form translates into the Premier League

Why should LA claim the 3-seed in the Western Conference playoff picture?

Following the Los Angeles Lakers’ 142-130 win against the Chicago Bulls on Thursday amid a 51-point explosion from Luka Doncic, the Lakers find themselves climbing up to the No. 3 seed in the Western Conference standings. According to ESPN’s Brian Windhorst, there is still about a month of the regular season left with some key games coming up, and it would be fair for the Lakers to hold on to the third seed in the West standings for the NBA Playoffs.

“I’m looking for a way for the Lakers to get to the playoffs. It’s going to take three,” Windhorst said. “No. 1, you have home court in the first round. Last year they had home court in the first round and they lost. You’ve still got to play good basketball … and you’re probably on the same side of the bracket as the Spurs.

“If you’re choosing to root for the Spurs or the Thunder, you’re probably going to pick the Spurs because of their inexperience overall. They’re not as deep as the Thunder… The next three games are huge for the Lakers. Home against the Nuggets… And then they go off on a six-game road trip. The first two games of that trip, in Houston. With teams all around them wanting to beat them, we’re going to be a lot more about the Lakers after the next 10 days.” Will get to know.”

Currently, the West’s standings from No. 3 to No. 7 are separated by just two games. The Spurs are obviously a better matchup for the Lakers than the Thunder in the NBA playoffs. But last season, JJ Redick cautioned against trying to manipulate seeding for favorable playoff series.

The Lakers have 16 games left in the regular season, four of which are against teams they are battling for playoff position with in the Denver Nuggets, Houston Rockets and Phoenix Suns. Windhorst is right in that the upcoming stretch will say a lot about the Lakers moving forward in the West playoff picture.

The picture of Dejounte Murray standing over Jamal Sheed is tough

The New Orleans Pelicans haven’t been the best all season, but they have found a little life the past few weeks since the return of Dejounte Murray. He has made things easier for the Pelicans with his play and is another scoring option they need. What’s even better is that he can get as close as he needs to, and he’s not afraid to take the shot.

That’s what happened in their latest game against the Toronto Raptors, where the Pelicans were looking to shut them out. Murray had the ball and Jamal Sheed was protecting him. He hit some moves on Sheed which caused him to fall to the floor and Murray hit a shot.

The end of that sequence was something like this.

It wasn’t a great moment for Shead, but Murray was in the news at least for the next minute. At that time, it was clear that the Pelicans missed him for most of the season.

After the game, Raptors head coach Darko Rajakovic spoke about the incident that occurred after the shot.

Rajakovic said, “I don’t give it too much attention there. The guys are competitive. What they did there was probably off the board. I got to see it on film. But I don’t want to make too much of it.”

That moment may stick around, but at some point, people will forget about it until something else like it happens.

In seven games this season, Murray is averaging 17.6 points, 5.3 rebounds and 5.4 assists. The Pelicans have been near the bottom of the Western Conference for most of the season, but if Murray continues to play there is a chance they will finish the year strong.

They have no reason to tank like other teams in the lower tier because they don’t have their picks in this year’s draft.

Why is Jason Tatum’s picture going viral while he is recovering from injury?

Jayson Tatum’s return to the court is in the near future. The Boston Celtics are currently the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference behind the Detroit Pistons, with a chance to advance them before the regular season ends. The Celtics will want home-court advantage throughout the playoffs, and with Tatum returning, they’ll have a ton of momentum.

Tatum is working to recover from his Achilles tendon injury. These injuries are occurring frequently, but many have not been able to bounce back as better players. Tatum is looking to avoid those obstacles.

On Saturday, the Celtics posted some photos of Tatum at practice, and one photo of him going viral as he was being defended by Luka Garza.

There aren’t too many images or videos of Tatum playing against contact. He has been attending games and practicing for a long time, but the superstar is still making progress. There is no legitimate report of his return this regular season, but if the Celtics really want him back this season, it would make sense for him to debut before the playoffs.

Chris Haynes revealed what Tatum told him recently. “I’m trying to come back… I don’t know if that’s the case or not,” Tatum told Haynes.

Tatum tore his Achilles tendon in May 2025, so a return in less than a year would be incredible for him. The playoffs don’t start until mid-April, so Tatum still has plenty of time to work his way back and make a final decision on whether he’ll return this season or next.
