Fulham are close to signing Ricardo Pepi, who is traveling to London for a medical ahead of a move to PSV.

Report by journalist Cesar Luis Merlo Pepi will sign with Fulham until June 2031. Fulham have agreed a €36m transfer fee with the Dutch side.

The charges are consistent with multiple reports Confirming that Fulham and PSV Eindhoven have already reached an agreement.

Cameras caught Pepi at the airport with his agent, Jaime Garcia of Starting Eleven Player Management. This is for a scheduled medical before the journey can proceed.

Why do Fulham want Pepi?

Fulham hope that Pepi will officially join Marco Silva’s squad after the World Cup, providing the Premier League team with a major attacking reinforcement ahead of next season.

Raul Jimenez is out of contract this summer, and Fulham hope he will leave. They are drafting Pepi as a key part of their next offensive rebuild.

The 23-year-old has emerged as one of PSV’s standout performers this season. Despite injury problems, he has registered 15 goal contributions so far. His performances have attracted interest from the Premier League.

January interest and deal success

Fulham have long placed themselves at the front of the queue for Pepi’s signature.

He pushed to sign Pepi in the January transfer window. PSV initially held firm in January but later admitted they were tempted by the offer.

The two clubs continued talks after the January transfer window and a deal has now been agreed. It appears that personal terms have now been agreed upon, with only the medical remaining.

Now, Fulham look set to finally get their man. Pepi’s arrival would underline the London club’s ambition to invest heavily in a high-ceiling striker entering his prime. But the challenge will be whether that form translates into the Premier League

Tuesday’s Brooklyn Nets-Dallas Mavericks matchup at Barclays Center is in question because of a historic blizzard that hit the Northeast.

Following Sunday’s loss to the Hawks, the Nets’ plane will remain grounded in Atlanta until Monday, according to league sources. Brooklyn plans to fly to New York on Tuesday morning, weather permitting.
