Good morning. No, it was not a dream. This really happened. What a win for Team USA, Jack Hughes and the New Jersey Devils.

Of course, Jack leading the United States over Canada is historic for hockey in the United States. However, the devils also needed it. There is now a ray of hope in a disappointing 2025-26. Their superstar created history by winning an Olympic gold medal on this side of the border for the first time since 1980.

It was an incredible moment for the player who probably needed it most.
