Report claims Jon Jones’ 8-figure asking price is behind UFC White House card survival

A new report offers a major update on why Jon Jones didn’t make the officially announced UFC White House card.

Last year, President Donald Trump broke the news that the UFC would make sports history by holding an event on the White House lawn for his birthday. Since that moment, there has been a massive amount of speculation about which fight would take place in what would become the most important event in MMA history.

Two legends who wanted to join the program shortly after it was announced were former two-division champions Conor McGregor and Jon Jones. However, over the past few weeks, it was looking very unlikely for anyone to compete on the White House lawn.

In the case of McGregor, as the most famous fighter in sports history, it became impossible to reach his standard salary in the new Paramount+ era without pay-per-view and competing in Washington, D.C. due to the points it accrues. This is why he is more likely to return in the July PPV event.

Jon Jones Record: 28-1 (11 knockouts, 7 submissions)

When it comes to “Bones”, UFC CEO Dana White didn’t hide the fact that he didn’t trust Jones to make fight night. Nevertheless, a report last week claimed that the company was in discussions with its representatives about a fight against fellow former two-division champion Alex Pereira at the June 14 event.

However, during the UFC 326 broadcast on Saturday night, the full lineup for the UFC White House card was announced, and Jones was not in it. Well, a new report reveals that, apparently, that was Jones’ high asking price.

According to veteran MMA insider Ariel Helwani, while the UFC tried to get the Pereira vs. Jones fight scheduled for June, they could not agree on the money the 38-year-old was asking for. Helwani claims the former light heavyweight and heavyweight champion’s asking price was equal to what boxer Connor Benn received in his one-fight deal with Zuffa Boxing. Rumors claim it is $15 million.

The MMA insider believes that the failed discussions mean that Jones is finished as a UFC fighter as the promotion will not be able to meet his asking price.

Alex Sarr joins Trae Young after injury report for Pelicans clash

Alex Sarr and Trae Young received positive news regarding their injury statuses for the Washington Wizards’ upcoming matchup against the New Orleans Pelicans.

Young is in the eighth season of his NBA career, his first with the Wizards. He began the 2025–26 campaign with the Atlanta Hawks before they traded him to Washington in exchange for CJ McCollum and Corey Kispert. The four-time All-Star made his Wizards debut on March 5 against the Utah Jazz.

As far as Sarr is concerned, he is going through the second year of his career as the second overall selection of the 2024 NBA Draft. Making the All-Rookie team last season, he has improved to become a key player in the rotation.

According to reporter Josh Valdez, both players got updates on their injuries as Washington released its latest report on Saturday. While guys like Anthony Davis and Keyshawn George are out, Young and Sarr are not on the report due to any injuries or illnesses.

“Trae Young and Alex Sarr yesterday in New Orleans 👀,” Valdez wrote.

It is great news for the Wizards to include two of their star players as Trae Young and Alex Sir will be available to play against the Pelicans.

Young played 19 minutes in his Wizards debut, scoring 12 points and six assists on 4 of 9 shooting from the field. Sarr has made significant progress as a sophomore in the league, averaging 17.2 points and 7.8 rebounds per game this season.

Washington has a 16–46 record on the season and is in 13th place in the Eastern Conference standings. They are above the Brooklyn Nets and Indiana Pacers while trailing the Chicago Bulls and Milwaukee Bucks.

After seven consecutive losses, the Wizards will continue preparing for their matchup against the Pelicans on March 8 at 7 PM ET. After that, they’ll remain on the road as they face the Miami Heat on March 10 at 7:30 PM ET.

Is Jayson Tatum listed on the injury report for the Cavs clash?

The Boston Celtics are scheduled to face the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday at 1 pm EST. Although Jayson Tatum finally returned from his Achilles injury in the club’s 120-100 win over the Dallas Mavericks on Friday night, we’re taking a look at Boston’s latest injury report to see if Tatum is there.

Tatum, who just turned 28, is not on the latest injury report for the Celtics’ contest against the Cavaliers. However, Nikola Vucevic (finger fracture) has been ruled out, while Baylor Scheierman (thumb fracture) is listed as available. The full report also includes John Tonje out due to his G League two-way contract.

“Nikola Vucevic – Out: right ring finger; fracture.
Baylor Scheierman – Available: Left thumb; fracture
John Tonje – Out: G League – Two Ways”

That means Jayson Tatum is set to play his second game of the 2025-26 campaign. His first appearance for the Celtics this season was quite successful. He finished the game with 15 points, 12 rebounds and seven assists while shooting 37.5% from the floor and 37.5% from beyond the three-point line.

It was a solid performance for the nine-year veteran. There were moments when it seemed like he was still shaking off the rust, but overall, it was a strong performance for Jayson Tatum. With Boston firmly in the Eastern Conference mix, Tatum has plenty of time to get things ready for the playoffs.

The timing of his return is ideal for the Celtics. Especially if Tatum can record career averages of 23.5 points, 7.3 rebounds and 3.8 assists per contest. He will have a chance to get back to form on Sunday against the Cavaliers.

Isaac, Anderson on injury report for Magic-Timberwolves game

The Orlando Magic travel to face the Minnesota Timberwolves in a cross-conference clash on Saturday afternoon, coming into this game on the back of two wins. The Timberwolves are in great form and looking for what would be their sixth consecutive win.

Both teams are worried about several injuries. Orlando forward Jonathan Isaac and Minnesota veteran Kyle Anderson both appear on the official injury report before the game, with each listed as questionable due to knee soreness.

The Magic will also be without Franz Wagner, who is out with a left ankle sprain, with Alex Morales and Colin Castleton both out on G League assignment.

Jonathan Isaac’s injury status vs. Timberwolves

Jonathan Isaac enters the game with a questionable designation due to soreness in his left knee. Orlando has quietly been one of the stronger defensive teams since the All-Star break, going 5-3 and posting the sixth-best defensive rating in the NBA over that span.

The Magic recorded an emotional 115-114 victory over the Dallas Mavericks, sealed by Wendell Carter Jr.’s last-second dunk. That win added Orlando’s league-leading total of six game-winners in the final 10 seconds this season.

Orlando will rely heavily on Paolo Banchero, who is developing into one of the league’s most complete young stars. Saturday’s game will mark Banchero’s 250th NBA appearance. He is one of only seven players to record at least 5,000 points, 1,500 rebounds and 1,000 assists in his first 250 games since the 1979–80 season, joining such legends as Larry Bird, LeBron James, Luka Doncic and Zion Williamson.

Even if Isaac ultimately sits out, Orlando will rely on Banchero to carry the offensive load as the team tries to pick up another win on the road.

Kyle Anderson’s injury status vs. Magic

Miami Heat forward Kyle Anderson (20) is shown on the court before the game against the Atlanta Hawks at State Farm Arena.
Dale Janine-USA TODAY Sports

Minnesota forward Kyle Anderson is also listed as questionable due to right knee soreness. The Timberwolves are entering this matchup in strong form.
They currently have a 40-23 record and are in third place in the West. Much of Minnesota’s success has been driven by its high-powered offense, which averages 119.0 points per game, the fourth-highest in the league.

That largely depends on Anthony Edwards, who will look to be the star for his team once again. The All-Star MVP is shooting 48.5% from the field and 37.4% from three-point range this season, while averaging 29.5 points per game.

Is Kristaps Porzingis playing tonight? warriors vs thunder injury report

The Golden State Warriors face the Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday night and Kristaps Porzingis is once again at the center of the injury report. The Warriors have listed Porzingis as questionable due to illness, putting the focus on the veteran big man as Golden State looks to win back-to-back games.

The Warriors entered the matchup at 32–30, No. 8 in the Western Conference. Meanwhile, the Thunder are the top seed in the West at 49-15 and are aiming to extend their four-game winning streak. With Oklahoma City playing dominant basketball and the Warriors trying to solidify their position in the playoff race, the importance of Porzingis’ availability has increased. If he plays, it will be just the second game of his Warriors tenure.

Through 18 games this season, he is averaging 16.8 points, 4.9 rebounds and 2.6 assists while shooting 46.1 percent from the field. The 7-foot-2 center contributes 1.3 blocks per game, providing valuable rim protection and floor spacing.

When Porzingis is available, the Warriors gain a unique frontcourt dimension. His size and perimeter shooting opened up the floor offensively while giving Golden State another defensive presence around the rim.

*Watch NBA Games Live with fuboTV (Free Trial)*

Kristaps Porzingis’ injury status vs. Thunder

Several additional names are included on the Warriors’ injury report. Stephen Curry is out with right patellofemoral pain syndrome, while Jimmy Butler III is out after right ACL surgery. Seth Curry is listed as questionable with left sciatic nerve irritation. Moses Moody is out with a sprained right wrist, while Gary Payton II is expected with a left ankle injury. De’Anthony Melton and Will Richard are both questionable with knee and ankle injuries, respectively.

For Oklahoma City, the Thunder injury report lists several players out, including Brandon Carlson (lower back strain), Alex Caruso (left hip strain), Isaiah Hartenstein (left calf strain), Ajay Mitchell (abdominal strain and left ankle sprain), Thomas Sorber (right ACL recovery), and Jalen Williams (right hamstring strain). Are.

Still, Porzingis’ status remains one of the most important questions ahead of the matchup. The Warriors hope to build momentum in the Western Conference standings, while the Thunder aim to continue their run at the top of the conference.

So when it comes to the question of whether Kristaps Porzingis is playing tonight against the Thunder, the answer is uncertain. His final status will depend on pre-game evaluation as Golden State prepares for a big test against the top team in the West.

Inside Edu Gaspar Nottingham Forest drama – Marinakis issue exposed in Brazil report

The noise in Brazil over Nottingham Forest’s sudden break with Edu Gaspar continues, and fresh details suggest the situation surrounding the former Arsenal executive has been developing for some time before it became public.

according to espn brazil According to journalist Pedro Ivo Almeida, negotiations were already taking place behind the scenes on Edu’s exit from Marinakis Football Group. The process ultimately spilled over into the news cycle this week, with reports that he was barred from entering the club’s training centre.

Almeida said people close to Adu were surprised by how publicly the story unfolded.

“He was surprised yesterday when he saw reports that he had been banned from the training centre.” The journalist said. “But people close to him say this had been happening for a few days.”

Situation inside the Marinakis Group

Edu was working as a senior football figure within Evangelos Marinakis’ multi-club structure, which includes Nottingham Forest, Olympiacos and Rio Ave. However, the relationships inside that structure appear to be complex.

According to Almeida, the decision to part ways came after internal discussions between Edu and the Greek owner.

“He talked to people from the Marinakis side and thought it was the right time to break that relationship,” the ESPN reporter said.

Part of the tension reportedly arose from the balance of power within the group. Edu is known to prefer strong autonomy when running the football department, while Marinakis is a highly active owner.

“He’s a person with personality,” Almeida explained. “He likes the freedom he has to run the department. Marinakis is someone who is very visible in the process.”

After about a year in the structure, results did not come as expected and pressure on the position increased. Edu then began negotiating the terms of his exit.

That process is not simple. According to the report, the separation involves several entities inside the Marinakis group, including Nottingham Forest, Olympiacos and Rio Ave, meaning the final paperwork could take time.

Furthermore, to make matters worse, ESPN says it is under pressure to resign itself, so Marinakis will not have to get paid what he is owed. And this had happened before also.

Spaniard Antonio Cordon and Portuguese Pedro Alves are also sidelined by Marinakis under contract between 2022 and 2024. In the latter case, the dispute is pending in court.

Alves resigned from Olympiacos and shortly thereafter filed a claim with the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) to receive the full amount of his expired contract.

The market situation is still unclear

Despite noises about Flamengo’s interest, Edu’s move after Nottingham Forest remains uncertain.

Almeida says there is no guarantee the former Arsenal sporting director is ready to return to Brazil at this stage of his career. Although options are available, the 47-year-old still sees opportunities in Europe.

“People around Edu have no certainty that he wants to return to Brazil right now,” The journalist said.

Family relationships may eventually hold him back. However, Edu also knows that his experience at Arsenal and in the European market keeps his profile attractive to clubs across the continent.

“He understands there is still a market for him in Europe,” Almeida added.

As a result, any decision regarding his future may depend on what opportunities first arise in the coming months.

Flamengo’s interest and relationship with the president

One of the clubs currently assessing the situation is Flamengo, As we covered earlier. However, the Brazilian side’s interest did not start this week.

According to Almeida, Flamengo president Luiz Eduardo Baptista (known as ‘Bap’) met Edu in person during the Intercontinental Cup in Doha late last year.

“Father met Edu personally in Doha late last year,” The journalist explained. “They had dinner there.”

The meeting was not a formal conversation, but it helped establish rapport and open the door for future discussions.

“”It was a conversation about ideas, about football, about what each person thinks,” Almeida said.

Edu’s name had already been circulated internally at Flamengo before the club eventually appointed José Boto as director of football. Now, with the situation at Nottingham Forest becoming public, Baptista has started to explore the possibility again.

Nevertheless, ESPN Brazil insists that no immediate agreement is imminent.

“This does not mean that Flamengo are close to signing Edu,” Almeida said. “His name was suggested and it is one of the names on the table.”

Time can also complicate matters. Edu’s contractual separation from the Marinakis structure may take time. Flamengo will therefore have to decide if they are willing to wait while they evaluate the future of current director Jose Boto.

For Nottingham Forest observers, the story suggests Edu’s exit may not mean a long-term break from football – but his next destination is still undecided.

Are Cooper Flagg, Klay Thompson playing tonight? mavericks vs celtics injury report

Dallas Mavericks rookie Cooper Flagg is expected to be available on Friday night when Dallas faces the Boston Celtics, while veteran guard Klay Thompson looks probable on the team’s latest injury report.

Dallas released its updated report ahead of the matchup at the TD Garden, listing Thompson as probable with a right adductor contusion. Meanwhile, Flagg did not appear on the injury report after recently returning from a left medial sprain that kept him out of action for nearly a month.

The 19-year-old rookie returned to action in a 115-114 loss to the Orlando Magic on Thursday night in Dallas. Flagg finished with 18 points, six assists, five rebounds, four blocks and one steal, while shooting 7-of-22 from the field and 1-for-4 from three-point range in 26 minutes.

Hart has played an impressive role with the Knicks. He averaged 11.8 points, 7.5 rebounds and 5.2 assists per outing in 51 games played. The Knicks are ready to make another run in the postseason, but they will need Hart to reach his full potential in the playoffs.

Friday’s game should be competitive. The Knicks head into play with a 40-23 record, good for third place in the Eastern Conference standings. The 39-24 Nuggets are in fifth place in the Western Conference.

Keeping Hart on the floor will go a long way in helping the Knicks defeat the Nuggets on the road. However, when it comes to the question of whether Josh Hart is playing tonight, the answer is probably.

Report claims major WWE star pushed company to sign Danhausen

If you’re one of the fans who isn’t happy with WWE signing Danhausen, a new rumor claims you can blame World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk.

Some big events happened in the 2026 edition of Elimination Chamber. Rhea Ripley surprised some people at WrestleMania 42 by having a huge matchup with WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill. And Randy Orton has a shot at the WWE Undisputed belt next month.

However, one of the other notable moments was the reveal of what was in the mystery box. As reports surrounding the event suggest, it was AEW alumnus Danhausen. But the comedy-based wrestler received a warm welcome from WWE fans in Chicago last week.

Even now, despite an entertaining debut on WWE Raw this week, there are still some fans unhappy with his inclusion. Especially after former NJPW main event David Finlay signed with AEW because they received a better offer in free agency. Well, it looks like a top star was a big force behind the signing.

CM Punk behind WWE signing Danhausen?

According to the Wrestling Observer, current World Heavyweight Champion CM Punk is pushing WWE decision makers to sign Danhausen.

The pair became friendly when the two shared a locker room in AEW and appeared in some funny videos at conventions during that time. The friendship continued after Punk left AEW in 2023, and they even made some video content together last year despite contracts with rival companies.

Only time will tell if the signing works out for WWE or not. So far, reports say the company is already happy with how well Danhausen’s merchandise has performed since its mixed debut. Still, it shows what kind of influence the Heavyweight Champion has in the promotion.

Is Pascal Siakam playing tonight? pacers vs lakers injury report

The Indiana Pacers face the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday night and Pascal Siakam is once again at the center of the injury report. The Pacers have listed Siakam as probable due to a left wrist sprain, putting the focus on Indiana’s leading scorer as the team tries to snap a seven-game losing streak.

The Pacers enter the matchup at 15-47, No. 15 in the Eastern Conference. Meanwhile, the Lakers have a 37-25 record and are sixth in the Western Conference as they aim to bounce back from their loss to the Denver Nuggets. As both teams look for speed for different reasons, the importance of Siakam’s availability has increased.

Siakam remained Indiana’s offensive focal point throughout the season. Through 53 games, he is averaging 24.0 points, 6.7 rebounds and 3.9 assists while shooting 48.5 percent from the field. He’s also converting 37.2 percent from three-point range and 68.9 percent from the free-throw line. Additionally, the forward contributed 1.1 steals and 0.4 blocks per game, continuing to make an impact on both ends of the floor.

When Siakam is on the court, the Pacers operate with much more structure. His ability to generate aggression in isolation and drive momentum in transition provides Indiana a much-needed scoring anchor during tough times.

Pascal Siakam Injury Status vs. Lakers

Pacers’ injury report includes several other prominent names. Johnny Furfee is out with a torn right ACL, while Tyrese Haliburton is out with a torn right Achilles tendon. Andrew Nembhard and Aaron Nesmith are both listed as probable with minor injuries.

Additional players are also included in the Pacers’ injury report. Talon Peters and Jalen Slauson are questionable on two-way assignment, while Ethan Thompson is questionable on a G League two-way deal.

As for the Lakers, the team has not yet submitted their official injury report.

Still, Siakam’s status remains the most important factor for Indiana heading into the matchup. The Pacers will look to stop their losing streak, while the Lakers will look to regain momentum in the Western Conference playoff race.

So when the question comes up is Pascal Siakam playing against the Lakers tonight, the answer leans towards yes. His final status will depend on pre-game assessment as Indiana looks to end the losing streak

Flagg, the frontrunner for the Rookie of the Year award, averaged 20.4 points, 6.6 rebounds, 4.1 assists and 1.2 steals on 48.2 percent shooting from the field, 30.2 percent shooting from the 3-point line and 80.4 percent shooting from the free-throw line.

Are Josh Giddy, Matas Buzzelis playing tonight? Bulls vs Suns injury report

The Chicago Bulls will visit the Phoenix Suns on Thursday night. Josh Giddy and Matas Buzelis are listed as questionable on the NBA injury report. Both are recovering from ankle sprains suffered Tuesday against the Oklahoma City Thunder. Giddy came out briefly but then returned to finish with a double-double of 14 points and 10 assists. Meanwhile, Buzzellis came out, but did not return. Here’s everything we know about Josh Giddy and Matas Buzelis’ injuries and their game status vs. the Suns.

Given that Giddy and Bouzelis are listed as questionable, the assumption is that both will be out against the Suns. Giddy, in particular, has been a fixture on the injury report recently. He most recently missed eleven games from late December to January with a left hamstring strain. Subsequently, head coach Billy Donovan placed Giddy on a minutes restriction as he worked his way back into the lineup.

Their first game was on January 22 against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Giddy scored 21 points, including 18 in the first half, six rebounds and five assists in the 120–115 victory.

Giddy is averaging 17.7 points, 8.4 assists and 8.2 rebounds per game.

Meanwhile, Bouzelis has remained largely safe from injury. Additionally, he is coming off of playing in the NBA Rising Stars Game during All-Star Weekend. He has remained focused on winning above anything else, even though the Bulls were winless in February.

Bouzelis is averaging 15.3 points and 5.5 rebounds per game.

So when the question comes up about whether Josh Giddy and Matas Buzelis are playing against the Suns tonight, the answer is probably yes.

Sengun, Thompson, Smith Jr. all on injury report against Warriors

The Houston Rockets host the Golden State Warriors, who have lost their last three games, at Toyota Center on Thursday night. Still, Houston heads into the game at 38-22 and in third place in the West, while Golden State is 31-30 and in eighth place.

The Warriors need to recover from their losses in the last two they have faced. The injury report lists the hosts as three key contributors in Alperen Sengun, Amen Thompson and Jabari Smith Jr.

All of them are listed as doubtful on the official injury list. Sengun is battling an illness, while Thompson and Smith are both dealing with ankle injuries.

The Rockets are already dealing with some major injuries. Fred VanVleet is out for the season after an ACL repair, Steven Adams is out after left ankle surgery, and Ja’Sean Tate is out with a right knee sprain. Tristan Newton is unavailable during a G League two-way assignment.

The warriors are also in a similar boat. Jimmy Butler III is out after right ACL surgery, while Stephen Curry is out with right patellofemoral pain syndrome. Seth Curry (left sciatic nerve irritation), Moses Moody (right wrist sprain), Kristaps Porzingis (illness) and Will Richard (right ankle sprain) have also been ruled out. Gary Payton II is questionable with a left ankle injury.

Injury status of Alperen Sengun, Amen Thompson, Jabari Smith Jr. vs. Warriors

Houston Rockets center Alperen Sengun (28) and forward Amen Thompson (1) sit on the sideline after play stops against the Detroit Pistons during the first half at Little Caesars Arena.
David Reginek-USA TODAY Sports

With all three players listed as questionable, their availability will be a decision on game day. Thompson and Sengun both started in the last game, both achieved double-doubles
Sengun had 32 points and eight rebounds while Thompson returned with 22 points and 12 rebounds.

However, Smith Jr. sat out the Rockets’ last game and last played in a win over the Orlando Magic. Regardless, despite the injury concerns, the Rockets (38-22) remain formidable, especially at home where they have a 20-7 record. They currently sit comfortably in third place in the Western Conference.

Houston has already proven they can handle Golden State this season by earning a 104-100 win in November. With the Warriors having lost three of their last four games and a weak road record of 12-17, the Rockets will be the favorites as hosts this time.

Is Aaron Gordon returning tonight? nuggets vs lakers injury report

The Los Angeles Lakers visit the Denver Nuggets on Thursday night, hoping to continue their three-game winning streak. The Nuggets come into this game coming off an easy win over the struggling Utah Jazz, but still have some injury concerns, including Aaron Gordon.

He is on the injury report along with Peyton Watson and Spencer Jones, with all three players listed out on the official injury report. Gordon is dealing with a right hamstring strain, the Nuggets are also missing Curtis Jones, who is on G League assignment.

Cameron Johnson is listed as questionable, though Gordon himself is close to returning and is expected to play a role in the Nuggets’ game against the New York Knicks, according to Brett Segel of ClutchPoints.

Aaron Gordon injury status vs. Lakers

Denver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray (27) and forward Aaron Gordon (32) and center Nikola Jokic (15) are on the bench during the second quarter against the Minnesota Timberwolves at Ball Arena.
Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

Gordon is certain to be out of this match. He has been out of action since January 23 due to a right hamstring strain and will miss the important match.
The Nuggets (38-24) currently hold a slim half-game lead over the Lakers (37-24) in the Western Conference standings. The Lakers come to Ball Arena on a three-game winning streak and will look to take advantage of a Denver defense that has slipped to 21st in the league without players like Gordon and Watson.

Offensively, this game is headed to be a shootout, which is reflected by the massive over/under of 240.5. Denver boasts the NBA’s highest scoring offense, averaging 120.5 points per game. Their anchors are Nikola Jokic, who leads the league in both rebounds (12.6) and assists (10.3), putting up 28.7 points per night, and Jamal Murray, who is fresh off a 45-point masterclass against Utah.

However, the Lakers pose a bigger challenge. They are 3-1 against Denver in the Doncic era, including a 115-107 win on Jan. 20.

LeBron James and Co. are also relatively healthy and the official injury report does not list any players out due to injury. The Lakers’ skid prior to their current win has left them struggling near the top half of the Western Conference table, and a win against Denver will prove crucial as they look to recover.

Is Deni Avdija playing tonight? Blazers vs Grizzlies Injury Report

The Portland Trail Blazers face the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday night and Deni Avdija is once again at the center of the injury report. He is listed as questionable as he manages a lower back injury, putting the focus on Portland’s versatile forward as the team tries to end a two-game losing streak and maintain its position in the Western Conference play-in race.

The Blazers enter the matchup at 29-33, No. 10 in the West. Meanwhile, the Grizzlies sit at 23-37, No. 11 in the conference and are hoping to bounce back after a loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves. With both teams placing an emphasis on pace at the end of the season, Avdija’s availability becomes even more important.

Avdija has emerged as one of Portland’s most important contributors this season. Over the course of 48 games, he is averaging 24.4 points, 7.0 rebounds and 6.6 assists while shooting 46.3 percent from the field. He’s also converting 34.1 percent from three-point range and 80.0 percent from the free-throw line. Additionally, the forward contributes 0.8 steals and 0.6 blocks per game, making an impact on both ends of the floor.

When Avdija is on the floor, the Blazers operate with more balance and play. His ability to facilitate offense while attacking the rim adds another dimension to Portland’s attack and helps stabilize the lineup during key stretches.

*Watch NBA Games Live with fuboTV (Free Trial)*

Deni Avdija Injury Status vs. Deni Avdija Grizzlies

Several other names are included on the Blazers’ injury report. Jason Kent and Caleb Love are out on two-way deals, while Shaddon Sharp is sidelined with a left fibula stress reaction. The injury report also lists Damian Lillard out due to left Achilles tendon injury management. Hansen Yang is also out on two-way assignment.

As for Memphis, the Grizzlies’ injury report has not yet been submitted.

Still, Avdija’s status remains the most important storyline for Portland in the matchup. The Blazers will try to stop their recent decline and salvage their spot in the Western Conference play-in picture. Meanwhile, Memphis hopes to regroup after its recent loss.

So when the question comes whether Deni Avdija is playing tonight against the Grizzlies, the answer is uncertain. His final status will depend on pregame evaluation as Portland looks for another win.

Report Details Mess Inside Raiders Front Office, Including One Hating Tom Brady Minion

A wild new report details the messy situation inside the Las Vegas Raiders that has alienated top star Max Crosby, including a teammate of Tom Brady who has few fans in the organization.

One of the biggest stories in the NFL as we approach the start of the new league year is the future of Raiders star pass rusher Max Crosby. During a rough stretch in franchise history, the seven-year veteran has been one of the few bright spots as he has earned Pro Bowl honors each of the last five seasons.

Unfortunately for the 28-year-old, his efforts have mostly gone in vain as the Raiders have reached the playoffs only once during his tenure. Additionally, he has had five different head coaches, and it could be six if he remains with the organization in 2026. It’s understandable why Crosby would be frustrated and want out.

Raiders aren’t consulting Crosby during trade talks

raiders
Kiyoshi Mio-Imagen Images

However, Crosby has remained loyal to Raiders fans despite consecutive losses. But the team threw him into the deep end when he requested that he miss the final two games of the season as they vie for the No. 1 pick in the NFL Draft. Which he did. Nevertheless, this caused a rift between the team and Crosby and it was expected that he would soon be traded. Or maybe not.

According to a new report from Michael Silver of The Athletic, the Raiders have made the process of moving the fan-favorite more “messy” than necessary despite overwhelming interest.

“The Raiders are not assuring him that he will accept the best offer he gets or asking him for input on where he would like to play,” writes Silver. “Theoretically, this saga could extend to the draft – or even the season.

“If that happens, it would continue a pattern of dysfunction that has plagued the Silver and Black throughout Crosby’s tenure, and which no sane superstar would ever welcome.”

Tom Brady’s servant is causing trouble at the Raiders facility

raiders
Tim Heitman-Imagen Images

However, an interesting piece of information in Silver’s report reveals another reason why Crosby has soured on the organization: minority owner Tom Brady’s top in-house minion, Alex Guerrero. The man with the title of “Wellness Coordinator” has surprising influence in the Raiders offices and has reportedly used his unusual power to rub many people in the organization the wrong way.

“Guerrero, who regularly attends practices and meetings, is claimed to have significant organizational power, informing players of impending transactions and even signaling to staff members who do not follow his instructions that their jobs may be in jeopardy,” Silver’s report said.

“Guerrero is believed to have direct access to Brady, who lives in Florida and serves as Fox’s lead NFL analyst, limiting his in-person appearances. Suffice it to say, trust issues are rampant at the Raiders’ training facility in Henderson, Nev.”

Is Giannis Antetokounmpo playing tonight? bucks vs hawks injury report

The Milwaukee Bucks face the Atlanta Hawks on Wednesday night and Giannis Antetokounmpo is once again at the center of the injury report discussion. Two-time MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo is not listed on the Bucks’ injury report ahead of Milwaukee’s matchup with the Hawks at Fiserv Forum. It puts the Bucks’ franchise star firmly in focus as Milwaukee looks to end a three-game losing streak and regain momentum in the Eastern Conference standings.

The Bucks enter the matchup at 26-34, No. 11 in the East. Meanwhile, the Hawks are 31-31, 10th in the conference and looking to continue a four-game winning streak. Milwaukee is currently out of the play-in picture and faces a difficult path back to contention in the Eastern Conference. With both teams battling for spots at the end of the season, Antetokounmpo’s availability is big.

Giannis continues to be the Bucks’ offensive engine whenever he is on the floor. Through 31 games this season, he is averaging 27.7 points, 10.1 rebounds and 5.5 assists while shooting 63.6 percent from the field. He’s also converting 37.5 percent from three-point range and 65.9 percent from the free-throw line. Additionally, the two-time MVP contributed 0.9 steals and 0.7 blocks per game, continuing to make an impact on both ends of the floor.

When Antetokounmpo plays, the Bucks operate with force and structure. His downhill pressure breaks down defenses and creates open looks for teammates across the perimeter.

Giannis Antetokounmpo Injury Status vs. Hawks

Several additional names are included on the Bucks’ injury report. Alex Antetokounmpo and Cormac Ryan are out on a two-way deal, while Taurean Prince is sidelined after neck surgery.

As for Atlanta, the Hawks injury report lists Raze Dennis and Asa Newell as questionable while on G League assignment.

Still, Antetokounmpo’s presence matters most. Atlanta will look to continue its winning streak and strengthen its position in the play-in race. Meanwhile, Milwaukee is hoping its superstar can help reverse a recent decline.

So when it comes to the question of whether Giannis Antetokounmpo is playing tonight against the Hawks, the answer currently leans towards yes, as he does not appear to be on the injury report.

Is Jayson Tatum returning from Achilles surgery? celtics vs hornets injury report

There is increasing buzz about the possibility of Boston Celtics star forward Jayson Tatum returning from his Achilles injury before the end of the 2025-26 NBA regular season.

There has been no official announcement regarding this yet, but many believe that the former Duke Blue Devils star will be on the floor sooner than expected for the start.

And if it’s going to happen, will it happen this Wednesday, when Boston takes on the visiting Charlotte Hornets at TD Garden in Beantown? Here’s everything we know about Jayson Tatum’s injury and his playing status against the Hornets.

Jayson Tatum Injury Status vs. Hornets

Troy Taormina-Imagen Images

Despite the discussion, Tatum will not debut against the Hornets in the 2025-26 season, according to Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints.

“Jayson Tatum is out ahead of tomorrow night’s Hornets-Celtics clash. Amid speculation that he could return on Wednesday, that won’t be the case for the All-Star forward,” Seagal shared via a social media post on Tuesday.

Tatum suffered an Achilles tendon injury during Game 4 of the Celtics’ second-round NBA playoff series against the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden in New York in 2025. He went under the knife the next day to repair the injury and was subsequently declared out for the rest of the playoffs and expected to be unavailable for the entire 2025–26 campaign.

However, reports have revealed that Tatum has begun participating in 5-on-5 scrimmages, leading to speculation that he is getting ready to see action this season. Additionally, he also practiced with Boston’s G League affiliate, the Maine Celtics.

In any case, the Celtics are performing well even without Tatum. They enter the meeting with Charlotte with a 41-20 record, second in the Eastern Conference standings and a three-game winning streak following a 108-81 defeat of Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee.

The 28-year-old Tatum has played 585 games since being selected by the Celtics as the third overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft, averaging 23.6 points, 7.3 rebounds and 3.8 assists while shooting 45.9 percent from the field and 37.0 percent from behind the arc.

So, when the question comes whether Tatum is playing against the Hornets, the answer is no.

Report reveals backstage drama Jade Cargill created with WWE talent

Internal discord within the WWE locker room has reportedly come to the surface following a social media exchange between WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill and Rhea Ripley.

While the rivalry is set to headline WrestleMania 42, new reports reveal that the “working shoot” nature of their online feud – specifically Cargill’s accusation of Replay playing “politics” with creative – was not an accepted part of the storyline.

According to PWInsider Elite, multiple sources have directly blamed Cargill for the public fallout, noting that his conduct has rubbed many colleagues the wrong way. The situation escalated further on Monday, when other members of the women’s division, including Chelsea Green and Piper Niven, took to social media to defend Ripley.

Green praised Ripley as a “compassionate and respectful” professional, a comment Cargill interpreted as a personal attack. This led to a confrontation with Niven, who told the champion that “the world doesn’t revolve around you” and criticized his ring ability.

Credit: WWE

“The back-and-forth between Jade Cargill and others was not prepared for by WWE creative, with multiple sources placing the blame for the outburst on Cargill. A source explained that Cargill has been criticized by many talents for how she rubs others the wrong way and when the back-and-forth with Rhea started, it wasn’t hard for others to jump in and express their opinions,” PWInsider reported.

Sources backstage also pointed to Cargill’s previous absence as a source of underlying tension. While it was previously reported that Cargill spent time at the WWE Performance Center in late 2024 and early 2025 to recover from undisclosed injuries, some reports now claim that the hiatus was intended to resolve “personal issues” and reduce locker room friction.

Talents have reportedly described Cargill’s behavior as “unsafe”, which suggests that although the roster is happy to help bring him up as a champion, the respect is not always felt the same way. Ripley herself appeared to address the situation in a scathing Instagram Story on March 3, which was quickly deleted.

In the post he wrote, “Not fun. Not friends. Learn to work and never live to defame someone’s actual human character by ‘breaking the fourth wall’.”

Is Donovan Mitchell playing tonight? Cavs vs Pistons injury report

The Cleveland Cavaliers face the Detroit Pistons on Tuesday night and Donovan Mitchell is once again at the center of the injury report. He has been officially listed with a right groin strain, putting the Cavaliers franchise star in focus as Cleveland looks to win back-to-back games and solidify its position in the Eastern Conference.

The Cavaliers enter the matchup at 38-24, No. 4 in the East. Meanwhile, the Pistons are the No. 1 seed in the conference and are aiming to extend a three-game winning streak after defeating the Cavaliers 122-119 on Feb. 27. With both teams striving for speed late in the season, Mitchell’s availability is big.

Mitchell continues to be Cleveland’s offensive engine whenever he is on the field. Through 55 games, he has averaged 28.5 points, 5.8 assists and 4.5 rebounds per contest, while shooting 48.3 percent from the field, 36.9 percent from three and 85.2 percent from the free-throw line. He also contributes 1.6 steals per game and puts consistent pressure on the opposing backcourt. His scoring gravity reshapes defensive coverages and opens up clean looks for teammates.

When Mitchell plays, the Cavaliers operate with pace and structure. Without him, shot creation becomes more committee-based, and late-game execution can tighten.

Donovan Mitchell’s injury status vs. Pistons

The Cavaliers’ injury report extends beyond Mitchell. Darius Brown and Riley Minix are out on G League two-way assignment. Max Strus is sidelined after having surgery on his left foot for a Jones fracture. Dean Wade is questionable with a right ankle sprain.

On the Pistons’ injury report, Isaac Jones and Wendell Moore Jr. are out on a two-way deal, while Bobby Klintman, Chaz Lanier and Tolu Smith are questionable while on G League assignment.

Still, Mitchell’s absence matters most. Detroit, sitting on top of the East, will see this as an opportunity to protect home court and continue building separation. Meanwhile, Cleveland will have to prove it can maintain its momentum without its leading scorer.

So when the question comes whether Donovan Mitchell is playing tonight against the Pistons, the answer is no. A right groin strain will keep him sidelined, forcing the Cavaliers to make adjustments as they pursue back-to-back wins against the East’s top team.

Is Cooper Flag playing tonight? Mavericks vs Hornets Injury Report

The Dallas Mavericks face the Charlotte Hornets on Tuesday night and Cooper Flagg is once again at the center of the injury report. Flagg is listed as questionable due to a medial left hamstring sprain suffered during the February 10 game against the Phoenix Suns. The standout rookie has missed the last seven games, and his potential return remains uncertain as Dallas prepares for Charlotte.

The Mavericks enter the season 21-39, ranked No. 12 in the West, trying to snap a three-game losing streak. Meanwhile, the Hornets are 10th in the East and are aiming to continue their four-match winning streak. Here’s everything we know from the injury report regarding Cooper Flagg and his playing status against the Hornets.

Flagg has been one of the few bright spots for the Mavericks this season. Through 49 games, he has averaged 20.4 points, 6.6 rebounds and 4.1 assists while shooting 48.2 percent from the field and 80.4 percent from the line. He logs over 34 minutes per night and carries a heavy offensive load. When he plays, the Mavericks operate with better pace and spacing.

Cooper Flagg Injury Status vs. Hornets

The Mavericks’ injury report makes Flagg’s availability especially important as Dallas looks to halt their decline in the Western Conference standings. Multiple players are listed as out or questionable, reducing the margin for error if the flag is not appropriate.

With several rotation pieces missing or limited, Dallas faces a tough challenge against a Hornets team running on pace. His absence will leave the Mavericks without their primary offensive engine.

Charlotte is entering with confidence after recording four consecutive wins. The Hornets will look at this matchup as an opportunity to continue climbing in the East by taking advantage of a struggling opponent. Had Flagg played, the game could have also included an interesting Rookie of the Year subplot against fellow contender Kon Knueppel.

For Dallas, this game is about stopping the bleeding. For Charlotte, it’s about keeping the momentum going. And at the center of it all is Flagg’s healing left leg.

So when it comes to the question of whether Cooper Flagg is playing tonight against the Hornets, the answer now leans towards ‘no’. His designation is doubtful. Dallas can remain cautious as he works his way back from a midfoot sprain.

Is Zion Williamson playing against the Lakers? pelicans injury report

The New Orleans Pelicans travel to Crypto.com Arena on Tuesday night to face a Los Angeles Lakers team that has won each of its last three games. They have overturned a three-game losing streak on the back of some extremely impressive shooting and will look to extend their run against New Orleans.

For the Pelicans, a lot depends on the status of Zion Williamson, who claimed in his recent interview with ESPN that he is expected to play after recovering from an ankle injury. However, according to a post on X by ClutchPoints, this has proven enough to change his status to ‘doubtful’.

Williamson suffered the injury during Friday’s win over the Utah Jazz and had to sit out Sunday’s 137-117 loss to the Clippers, a loss that snapped New Orleans’ four-game winning streak. Despite recent improvement, the Pelicans continue to struggle.

They are 19-43 for the season and are in 13th place in the Western Conference, ten wins away from the 10th-place Portland Trail Blazers and need a turnaround in fortunes to reach the postseason.

Zion Williamson’s injury status vs. Lakers

While the questionable tag is a concern, Zion himself expects to play, and barring any late incidents, fans can expect him to at least be involved off the bench.

Speaking to ESPN’s Malika Andrews on Monday, Williamson said,

“I look forward to being back tomorrow against the Lakers.”

Before suffering an ankle injury, Zion was in the midst of his most durable stretch as a professional, playing a career-high 35 consecutive games. On the season, he is averaging 21.5 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.5 assists while shooting over 58% from the field overall.

Despite this, the Lakers (36-24) have found their rhythm and enter the night as winners of two straight blowouts. They have won nine of the last 10 meetings against New Orleans and are looking for another straight win at home.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander back on OKC’s injury report ahead of Bulls matchup

Oklahoma City Thunder All-Star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has been ruled out of Tuesday’s game against the Chicago Bulls after giving positive feedback to reporters following his first two games back from an abdominal injury. Gilgeous-Alexander will miss the first leg of the Thunder’s back-to-back, which ends on Wednesday against the New York Knicks. He’ll likely be back to take on the Knicks.

Starting center Isaiah Hartenstein was added to Gilgeous-Alexander on the Thunder’s injury report as players ruled out of Tuesday’s game. Hartenstein returned from a calf injury on Friday. Both Thunder players missed overtime in Friday’s 127-121 win against the Denver Nuggets and will also miss Tuesday’s game against the Bulls due to their respective injuries.

Jalen Williams (right hamstring), Ajay Mitchell (abdominal strain, left ankle), and Brandon Carlson (lower back strain) are out, while Nikola Topic is on assignment with the Thunder’s G League affiliate, the Oklahoma City Blue.

Gilgeous-Alexander finished with 30 points on 12-of-20 shooting, five assists, four rebounds and four steals in Sunday’s 100-87 win against the Dallas Mavericks.

It was difficult for Shai Gilgeous-Alexander to watch the Thunder compete against the Nuggets in overtime on Friday, even if the defending champions won. Fortunately for Gilgeous-Alexander, the Thunder defeated the Mavericks in regulation, earning a 13-point win on the road.

After the win, a reporter asked Gilgeous-Alexander how his body was feeling after playing his first two games since returning from an abdominal injury.

“Okay,” Gilgeous-Alexander replied. “I ramped up the workouts before the games, I knew I was coming back. The guys who helped me with the workouts did a great job building them into game legs. So, I feel great. Cardio-wise, I don’t feel like I missed a beat.”

The Thunder improved to 47–15.

Is Jalen Johnson playing tonight? Hawks vs Blazers injury report

On Sunday evening, the Atlanta Hawks will take on the Portland Trail Blazers in search of their fourth consecutive win. Jalen Johnson’s playing status against the Blazers on Sunday

Atlanta Hawks forward Jalen Johnson (1) warms up before their game against the Philadelphia 76ers at Xfinity Mobile Arena.
Bill Streicher-Images

Given his questionable designation on the injury report, there is some doubt at the moment as to whether Jalen Johnson will be able to suit up for the Hawks on Sunday evening. Johnson suffered a hip flexor injury during a recent game against the Washington Wizards, causing him to leave in the first half and not return, then was ruled out of Atlanta’s next game, also against the Wizards.

The injury report joins Johnson at shooting guard Nickeil Alexander-Walker, who is questionable with a left foot sprain and missed Atlanta’s last game against Washington. Rookie Asa Newell is questionable, as he is on assignment in the G League.

The Trail Blazers have not yet released their injury report, as they are on the road for the second straight night after losing to the Charlotte Hornets on Saturday afternoon.

As mentioned earlier, the Hawks will be looking to pick up their fourth consecutive win in this matchup, although that streak has not come against the best competition, with Atlanta beating the Wizards twice and the Brooklyn Nets twice.

However, for a team that is desperate to get back to the .500 mark, the Hawks will win out no matter what.

If Johnson is unable to go, expect another big game from Jonathan Kuminga, who has impressed in his first two games in a Hawks uniform so far.

The Hawks and Blazers are set to tip off at 6:00 PM ET.

Is James Harden playing today? Cavs vs Nets injury report

The Cleveland Cavaliers will face the Brooklyn Nets, and there is a possibility that they may get one of their key players back. James Harden has missed the last few games after being diagnosed with a fractured right thumb, but he is expected to return game-to-game. It doesn’t appear that Harden will have surgery, and it may be a matter of enduring the pain if he returns to the court.

Luckily for the Cavs, they’ll be playing the Nets, a team that hasn’t had much success this season. This could be a game in which they let Harden sit out so he can continue to recover.

Anyway, here’s Harden’s position for the game.

*Watch NBA games live with fuboTV (free Trial)*

Injury status of James Harden vs. Nets

Harden is listed as questionable against the Nets, which means he is likely to play.

The latest update on Harden wasn’t the best when thinking about a return soon, as head coach Kenny Atkinson shared that the guard was having difficulty dribbling.

“I know he was struggling a little bit with his dribbling this morning,” Atkinson said. “If you have difficulty dribbling and catching [it’s tough to play]. Jarrett Allen went through this early in the season. We tried to bring him back. He wanted to hurry, and then we had to go back and give him some time.

“I know James is different… We have to get feedback from James… There is no one stronger in the league. There is no one else available. No one wants to play more.”

If Harden is struggling trying to dribble, there is no way he can play. At this point, listing him as questionable is probably just putting opposing teams on edge so they don’t know whether they should prepare for him or not.

The Utah Jazz host the New Orleans Pelicans at the Delta Center on Saturday night for the second consecutive game. The Pelicans won 129-118 last time out, with Sadiq Bey having a stellar performance of 42 points, seven assists and five rebounds.

The Pelicans have found momentum recently and are currently on a three-game winning streak. Regardless, the Jazz have once again added Keyonte George to the official injury list, as he is listed as questionable due to a right ankle sprain.

George last played for Utah in a loss against the Orlando Magic and is on the injured list along with several players including Lauri Markkanen, who is out with a strained right hip.
Stroke. Walker Kessler, Jaren Jackson Jr., Jusuf Nurkic and Vince Williams Jr. are also out with various injuries.

For the Pelicans, Yves Missy is listed as questionable, while Trey Murphy III, Dejounte Murray, Trey Alexander and Hunter Dickinson are officially out.

George will once again be a game-time decision but his questionable status suggests he could also play a role. Given their recent form and their 18-41 record, they need to get their guard back fit as soon as possible.

This should be another fast-paced matchup like Thursday night when the Pelicans dispatched the Jazz in Salt Lake City. While both teams are currently tied for the bottom of the Western Conference, New Orleans (18-42) will be hoping to pick up another win.

The Pelicans have won four of their last six contests and if George is unable to play, Utah will once again have to rely on the poor second unit that has kept them afloat. The Jazz bench scored 61 points Thursday, including Ace Bailey’s 23 points and Bryce Sensabaugh’s 20 points.

However, Utah’s biggest obstacle remains their weak defense. The Jazz are currently surrendering 125.9 points per game and will need to be better than in recent weeks to have a chance.

Are Green, Porzingis playing tonight? warriors vs lakers injury report

The Los Angeles Lakers travel to Chase Center on Saturday night for a primetime Pacific Division showdown against the Golden State Warriors. LeBron James and Co. have lost each of their last three meetings and will face a team that has won two of their last three games.

According to the official injury report, both Draymond Green and Kristaps Porzingis are on the injury report ahead of this matchup. Green is currently listed as probable as he is dealing with a left lower back injury, while Porzingis is questionable due to a general illness.

While those two players can still play, Stephen Curry will not play as he has been confirmed out with a right patellofemoral injury. Curry joins players like his brother Seth, Jimmy Butler and LJ Cryer who have opted out.

For the Lakers, Rui Hachimura is questionable while Bronny James and Edou Thirou are out due to G League assignments.

Given that Draymond Green is probable on the injury report, the assumption is that he will be involved in a marquee matchup. The veteran forward is currently averaging 8.5 points, 5.7 rebounds and 5.1 assists per contest while shooting 41% from the field.

Porzingis is questionable and his chances of playing are slim given his questionable status. The division-leading Lakers (34-24) arrive in San Francisco desperate to snap a three-game losing streak after a narrow 113-110 loss to the Phoenix Suns on Thursday.

Despite their recent struggles, Los Angeles will once again look to their Big-3 for inspiration. Luka Doncic leads the NBA with 32.7 points per game (adding 7.8 rebounds and 8.6 assists), Austin Reaves is enjoying a career year averaging 24.6 points, and the ageless LeBron James is contributing 21.5 points, 7.0 assists and 5.7 rebounds per night.

Los Angeles and Golden State have split their first two head-to-head meetings this season, with both previous games taking place in Los Angeles. The Lakers are 18-12 on the road this year, while the Warriors are 19-11 at home.

Kristaps Porzingis’ positive take on injury report ahead of Lakers clash

SAN FRANCISCO — After missing the past three games due to illness, Golden State Warriors center Kristaps Porzingis is headed in the right direction ahead of the Dubs’ matchup with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Following the Warriors’ Friday afternoon practice, Steve Kerr gave a positive update on the big man’s status.

“Kristaps felt better in practice today. It’s the first time he’s done anything since his illness,” Kerr said. “He would be suspicious [for the Lakers game]”

It’s been a rough start to the Porzingis era in Golden State. After his mixed debut against the Boston Celtics, in which he scored 12 points on 5-of-9 shooting in 17 minutes of action, health has once again proven to be a hindrance for the big man. Before the Denver game, the first game Porzingis missed during this period, Kerr said that Porzingis’ illness was so severe that he could not leave his hotel room. And last week, Porzingis remained at the bay to recover as the Dubs went on the road for a quick back-to-back.

With the disease rearing its head, Porzingis’ medical history with postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS) certainly comes to the forefront of speculation. In the past, Porzingis has struggled with POTS’ chronic symptoms, primarily an increased heart rate that later leads to dizziness and extreme fatigue.

However, the Warriors have not officially linked this particular disease to that specific condition. Details about Porzingis’ symptoms and the specifics of his illness remain scarce and vague. Still, this is an ailment that Golden State knew about when they traded for him and were confident they could manage.

So far, health has hampered Porzingis’ start in Golden State, but hopefully they can get him back against the Lakers.

Draymond Green injury update

As for other injury updates, Kerr said Draymond Green was able to participate in practice and he expects to be available against Los Angeles after lower back pain sidelined him against the Memphis Grizzlies.

But the problem with Green, lately, has been when he’s been available and on the court. Whenever Green takes the field, his decline in offensive performance has a negative impact on the rest of the team. In the last two games he has missed, the Warriors have scored more than 120 points. And in the last two games, they have decided not to finish with him; They have managed to pick up some close wins over the Phoenix Suns and Grizzlies.

On the season, when Green is on the floor, the Warriors are 4.3 points worse per 100 possessions, which is in the bottom 22nd percentile among players at his position. For a player who had historic on-off, positive plus/minus in his heyday, the situation he is in now is a far cry from his peak.

It’s a problem of which Kerr is acutely aware. Last week, he said it was up to him and the coaching staff to put him in the best position to succeed. After practice, Kerr talked about how they can find a rhythm with him out there.

“We have to read the situation. New Orleans, we found more rhythm in the second half with Dre than we did in the first, and so it’s some type of sets we can call,” Kerr said. “We’re doing some of our off-ball things. And then some adjustments that he’s going to have to make without Steph, and those are all things we talked about internally and with the whole group.”

Scary new report on former Michigan HC reveals he gave pay hike to staff after rape claims

A new report about fired Michigan head coach Sharon Moore claims she actually gave an employee a raise after being alerted to a serious sexual harassment allegation.

In December, Michigan football was rocked when the university revealed it was unexpectedly firing head coach Sharon Moore. Following this news, reports revealed that not only was the man who replaced Jim Harbaugh after a series of scandals fired as coach, but he was also in a local jail.

The coach was ousted due to an inappropriate relationship with a staff member and arrested after he stormed the woman’s home and threatened to kill himself after his actions took a toll on her life.

Drama has followed the Wolverines football program over the years because of the questionable individuals Harbaugh hired, including Moore. Well, the Michigan football staff’s history of having obnoxious people got another ugly chapter on Friday.

According to Justin Spiro, an unnamed woman went to the then-head coach and accused current Atlanta Falcons defensive line coach LaTroy Lewis of rape while he was a member of Moore’s staff. Unfortunately, Moore rejected the claim.

“Lewis is also accused of attacking the same woman in a separate incident so violently and viciously that neighbors called the police to report disturbing noises coming from his apartment,” Spiro reports.

Yet, not only did he deny the disgusting allegations, but he reportedly would eventually give Lewis a raise and actually sexually harass the same woman. Following the sexual assault claim, Moore allegedly texted her, “Get up, I have to suck it now.”

“The alleged victim, we’ll call her ‘Jane,’ Moore said she refused to report the assault because she confided in him, which is a violation of her status as a mandated reporter under Title IX, and a violation of University of Michigan policy,” Spiro’s report said. “Over the following weeks, Moore sent Jane a series of sexually graphic messages, ordering her to perform various sexual acts on him.”

The report shows photos of injuries, screenshots of messages and a police report from the situation that began in July 2024 and lasted until December last year.

Is Gilgeous-Alexander returning tonight? thunder vs nuggets injury report

The Oklahoma City Thunder (45-15) are set to host the Denver Nuggets (37-22) for a blockbuster Northwest Division clash on Friday night at Paycom Center. Denver comes in with the NBA’s No. 1 offense (120.7 offensive rating), while Oklahoma City faces the league’s toughest defense (106.4 defensive rating).

However, all eyes are on the Thunder’s superstar point guard, who has been sidelined ahead of the All-Star break. And well, OKC fans will be happy to know that Shai-Gilgeous Alexander is completely off the official injury list for the defending champions, which means he is set to make his return after already being cleared.

OKC still has injury concerns as Jalen Williams, Ajay Mitchell, Thomas Sorber and Brandon Carlson are still out. The same is true for the Nuggets, who still have Jamal Murray listed as questionable along with several names on the injury list.

Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, after missing the Thunder’s last nine games due to an abdominal strain. His comeback is not only important for the Thunder, but also for his own personal appreciation.
The reigning MVP has only six games remaining under the NBA’s minimum 65-game rule to remain eligible for season-ending awards. And given his staggering averages of 31.8 points, 6.4 assists and 4.4 rebounds, he is once again an MVP contender.

Shai will be facing off against three-time MVP Nikola Jokic, who is currently a triple-double threat averaging 28.8 points, 12.5 rebounds and 10.4 assists. In their only previous meeting this season on February 1, Gilgeous-Alexander torched the Nuggets in the Mile High City, posting 34 points and 13 assists on 68% shooting to lead the Thunder to a 121–111 win.

Report reveals whether Ohio State’s loss to Iowa brought the school closer to firing Jake Diebler

A new report shows that despite Wednesday’s disappointing loss to rival Iowa at home, Ohio State head coach Jake Diebler is in no danger of being fired after this season.

Former associate head coach Jake Diebler has done a solid job during his two and a half seasons leading the Buckeyes. He was thrust into the lead role during the 2023–24 season after his predecessor Chris Holtmann was fired. However, he led Ohio State basketball to eight wins and the final 11 and created new hope.

Last season, a first-time head coach was given considerable leeway to learn on the job and oversee a good 17-15 team in 2024-25. However, this meant that he would not play in the NCAA Tournament for the third consecutive season. Heading into this season, there were more expectations that Deibler could end that streak and get the program back into the tournament and, hopefully, win a game or two.

Unfortunately, over the past month, Ohio State has struggled. The Buckeyes are 4-6 since a loss to Michigan on Jan. 23. The latest blow came on Wednesday when OSU was defeated by Iowa on its home court by a score of 74-57. The loss dropped their record to 17–11 and put them in a position where they would have to win their final three games to have any chance of reaching the tournament.

Jake Diebler’s job at Ohio State is safe

Ohio State
Samantha Madar/Columbus Dispatch/USA TODAY Network via Images

The loss also reignited speculation that perhaps Deibler isn’t the guy to end his streak coming out of March Madness, and perhaps that could change in the spring. Well, according to Adam Jarry, the coach is in no danger of losing his job at the moment.

During an appearance on 97.1 The Fan t-bone and tyvisThe Columbus Dispatch OSU reporter claimed that basketball decision makers “understand the resources available and understand the playbook the program has been given to work with.” And they know they haven’t given Diebler enough opportunities to be competitive.

“There’s frustration there. Everyone would like things to get better, but if you get my drift, I don’t get the sense that this is setting up something big,” Jardi said.

Rui Hachimura reaches injury report for Suns game

The Los Angeles Lakers find themselves on a two-game slump after a close loss to the Orlando Magic last time out and will visit the Phoenix Suns next Thursday. Los Angeles has done well in terms of availability in recent weeks and all three of LeBron James, Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves are expected to be fit.

However, Rui Hachimura is on the official injury report along with Jackson Hayes, with Hachimura listed as questionable and Hayes as probable. Hachimura is dealing with an illness, while Hayes is dealing with a right ankle sprain.

Along with these two, Bronny James and Edou Thiero have also been included, whose exit has been confirmed.

Rui Hachimura injury status vs Suns

Given that Rui Hachimura is questionable on the injury report, his availability will likely be a game-time decision. He came off the bench to score 10 points and two steals against the Magic and could prove useful off the bench once again.

Meanwhile, the Suns are still missing Dillon Brooks, Devin Booker, Cole Anthony and Haywood Highsmith. The Lakers (34-23) have dropped to sixth place in the tightly packed Western Conference after suffering consecutive losses, including a loss to the Boston Celtics.

Meanwhile, the Suns (33-26) have dropped to seventh in the standings after losing seven of their last ten games. Hachimura is averaging 11.7 points and 3.4 rebounds per game and will add another threat against a team that has been largely depleted.

Phoenix currently leads the season series 2–1, making this fourth and final meeting important for potential postseason tiebreaker scenarios.

Is Kawhi Leonard playing tonight? Clippers vs Timberwolves injury report

The reshuffled Los Angeles Clippers (27-30) host the surging Minnesota Timberwolves (36-23) on Thursday night for a primetime Western Conference clash at the Intuit Dome. The Clippers are on a two-game slump after losses to the Los Angeles Lakers and Orlando Magic and have several names on the injury list.

According to the official report, Kawhi Leonard is listed as questionable due to left ankle soreness. The same is true for John Collins, who is dealing with a neck issue, while Darius Garland and Bradley Beal are both out.

Kawhi Leonard’s injury status vs. Timberwolves

Despite scoring a big 37 points playing through an injury last time out against Orlando, Kawhi Leonard is a game-time decision. However, the Clippers are sitting precariously in the 10th and final play-in spot in the West, so the stakes are incredibly high.

Edwards has been a complete disappointment since winning All-Star Game MVP, averaging 34 points in his last three contests, including a 34-point masterclass in a 124-121 win over the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday. The Clippers desperately need their own talisman to perform well.

Led by Edwards (29.6 ppg), the Timberwolves boast the third-ranked scoring attack in the NBA with 119.6 points per game. On February 8, a healthy Leonard methodically destroyed the Timberwolves for 41 points in a 115–96 blowout.

Regardless, Minnesota has a clean bill of health for this game, with their only absence being due to a G League assignment. Therefore, a lot depends on whether the poet is suitable or not. The Timberwolves will look to get revenge any way they can, but Leonard’s presence could play a major role in deciding the contest.

Is Joel Embiid playing tonight? 76ers vs heat injury report

The Philadelphia 76ers (32-26) host the Miami Heat (31-28) on Thursday night at Xfinity Mobile Arena. They come into this game coming off wins against the Minnesota Timberwolves and Indiana Pacers, and will look to build on their recent momentum.

According to the official injury report, Joel Embiid, who starred in the game against Indiana, is listed as probable as he manages the recovery of his right knee and right calf soreness. The Sixers will already be without Paul George due to the league suspension, making Embiid’s presence vital despite the Miami Heat themselves dealing with a tall bill of injuries.

The Heat lost against the Milwaukee Bucks in their latest encounter but have managed three wins in their last four games.

Embiid can be expected to suit up for an important game for Philadelphia. Embiid recently returned to the floor after missing five consecutive games, posting 27 points, six rebounds and five assists on 11-17 shooting.

The Sixers currently hold the No. 6 seed in the East (the last guaranteed playoff spot), just 1.5 games ahead of the No. 8 seed Heat. Miami won the first meeting in November, meaning a Heat win tonight would clinch the crucial head-to-head tiebreaker for the season series.

In addition to Paul George, who is suspended, the 76ers are confirmed to miss Johnny Brown and Kelly Oubre Jr. for this game, while Marjan Beauchamp is listed as questionable. In comparison, the Heat’s concerns are bigger.

Suns’ injury report will push LA to break losing streak

The Los Angeles Lakers have been a bit of Jekyll and Hyde this season. When things go right, it looks like they can compete with any team in the league. But when things are not going well, the team does not look very competitive.

After being defeated by the Boston Celtics on Sunday, the Lakers suffered a blowout 110-109 loss to the Orlando Magic. The loss dropped Los Angeles to 34–23, two games ahead of the Phoenix Suns in the Pacific Division.

The teams will face off in the desert on Thursday. Thankfully for the Lakers, Phoenix will once again be missing some of their most important pieces.

According to AZ Central’s Duane Rankin, Devin Booker, Dillon Brooks, Jordan Goodwin, Haywood Highsmith and Cole Anthony have all been ruled out. Of course, Booker is the biggest loss for the Suns.

Booker strained his right hip last week against the San Antonio Spurs. In the three games since, Phoenix’s offense has been mediocre. The Celtics also beat them by 16 points, 97-81, on Tuesday night. In the first game against the Portland Trail Blazers, they were able to score only 77 points.

With the Lakers likely to play the Big Three, it could prove difficult for the Suns to keep up.

The second unit in Los Angeles could also get a boost. Backup center Jackson Hayes was upgraded to probable on Wednesday, while Rui Hachimura is listed as questionable due to illness.

The Lakers have had their share of troubles, but for the most part the offense has not been a part of them. The defensive end of the court has left a lot to be desired. But with Jalen Green struggling in his return, and the Suns lacking many other scoring options, Thursday appears to be a prime opportunity to get back in the win column.

This game could go a long way in determining the division winner. The Suns have won two of the first three meetings and a Lakers loss would ensure a tiebreak for Phoenix.

Are James Harden, Donovan Mitchell playing tonight? Cavs-Bucs injury report

The Cleveland Cavaliers head to take on the Milwaukee Bucks in the second night of a home-road match on Wednesday. James Harden is listed as questionable due to a broken thumb, while Donovan Mitchell and Evan Mobley will be out of action. Meanwhile, the Bucks will not have Giannis Antetokounmpo available for the matchup.

When it comes to the question of whether James Harden and Donovan Mitchell are playing in tonight’s Cavs vs. Bucks matchup, the answer is probably for Beard and not Spida.

Cleveland announced this afternoon that Harden suffered a non-displaced fracture of the distal phalanx of his right hand against the New York Knicks on Tuesday night. Luckily for both him and the team, it’s the thumb of his non-shooting-hand. It appears he plans to play despite the injury, which could keep him out in Milwaukee, depending on whether the Cavs want him to play through it soon.

Mitchell is listed out with a right groin strain, while Mobley is also sidelined with a strain on his left calf. With the Detroit Pistons next on the road on Friday, and the Cavs coming off a five-game-in-seven-night finish, it’s not surprising both are sitting out this one.

Max Strus has yet to make his season debut after recovering from left foot surgery, but Kenny Atkinson provided an encouraging update on his condition moving forward.

The Bucks will be without Giannis Antetokounmpo for the 13th consecutive game due to a calf injury.

Is Dejounte Murray returning tonight? Pelicans vs Warriors Injury Report

On Tuesday evening, the New Orleans Pelicans will play at home against the Golden State Warriors. For the first time in more than a year, Dejounte Murray will be in the lineup for the Pelicans as he takes the field for the first time since tearing his Achilles last season, his first in New Orleans. Here’s everything we know about Murray’s injury and his playing status against the Warriors.

Dejounte Murray’s playing status against the Warriors on Tuesday

It will certainly be a sight for sore eyes when Dejounte Murray takes the field against Golden State on Tuesday. It’s unclear at this point whether or not head coach James Borrego plans to make the point guard the starting point guard, but regardless, he’s sure to get a big reception from the fans at the Smoothie King Center whenever he steps on the field.

Meanwhile, Trey Murphy III will be out for the Pelicans with a right shoulder injury, while Yves Messi is also out with a left calf strain.

For the Warriors, Stephen Curry will be out of the lineup as he deals with a knee injury, while new trade acquisition Kristaps Porzingis is also out due to illness. Draymond Green and De’Anthony Melton both have questionable play.

Murray was acquired by the Pelicans in the summer of 2024 from the Atlanta Hawks in exchange for a package centered on Dyson Daniels, who won the Most Improved Player of the Year award in his first season in Atlanta.

Murray’s tenure with New Orleans was a bit of a mixed bag before tearing his Achilles last year, but he will certainly provide a steady balance of playmaking and shot creation to a Pelicans team that desperately needs both.

The Pelicans and Warriors are expected to tip off at 8:00 pm ET.

Given that Draymond Green is on the injury report after missing Sunday’s game against the Nuggets, it’s likely he will be suiting up for Tuesday’s game. Horford, who played nearly 30 minutes in Sunday’s win, could potentially sit out. Green and Horford are a fixture on the injury report these days, but we could also see coach Steve Kerr add some older players over the age of 35 amid the Warriors’ extended injury list.

Perhaps Green is inspired by recent criticism of Kendrick Perkins, leading to the comeback against the Pelicans. Green has not played since the Warriors’ 121-110 loss to the Boston Celtics. Still, when it comes to the question of whether the Warriors’ Draymond Green will play tonight against the Pelicans, the answer is probably.

al horford injury status vs pelicans

In a nine-point upset win against the Nuggets, Warriors veteran Al Horford turned the tables with his 22-point performance. He finished with his most impressive performance of the season, with seven assists, three steals and two blocks, including 8-for-11 from the floor, 6-for-7 from deep.

Horford has not played in back-to-backs, meaning if the Warriors were to play him on Tuesday, he would sit for Wednesday’s game against the Nuggets, which is another reason he will probably miss Tuesday’s game. When it comes to the question of whether Al Horford is playing tonight against the Pelicans, the answer is probably no.

Chet Holmgren joins SGA, Jalen Williams on injury report vs. Raptors

The Oklahoma City Thunder visit the Toronto Raptors on Tuesday night. Chet Holmgren is on the injury report with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jalen Williams both players listed as probable. Holmgren is dealing with back spasms after scoring 17 points and 15 rebounds in a 111-89 win against the Cleveland Cavs, while Gilgeous-Alexander is recovering from an abdominal injury. Williams is recovering from a hamstring strain. Here’s everything we know about Chet Holmgren’s injury and his playing status against the Raptors.

Despite the fact that 2025-26 has been Thunder forward Chet Holmgren’s first All-Star season, serious back injuries have cropped up from time to time throughout the year. Given Holmgren’s questionable status for Tuesday’s match, it is difficult to predict whether he will play or not.

As the Thunder continue on their regular season schedule without All-Star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Jalen Williams, Ajay Mitchell and possibly Alex Caruso, who missed Sunday’s game against the Cavs with a left ankle sprain. Caruso has been listed as doubtful, as has Holmgren.

Coming off his first All-Star selection, Holmgren has helped the Thunder pick up wins against the Brooklyn Nets and Cleveland Cavs on Sunday. He has been the defending champions’ defensive anchor, cleaning up the glass in the paint.

The Raptors upset the Thunder in their last meeting in January. Holmgren finished with 11 points and 10 rebounds in a game where Gilgeous-Alexander was available, as the Raptors defeated the defending champions in a 103–101 victory. The Thunder may have to avenge that loss without moving on.

When it comes to the question of whether Chet Holmgren is playing tonight against the Raptors, the answer is probably.

Is Joel Embiid playing tonight? 76ers vs pacers injury report

The Philadelphia 76ers will visit the Indiana Pacers on Tuesday night. Joel Embiid is listed as questionable on the NBA’s official injury report. Embiid is dealing with right knee injury management and right calf soreness after missing the team’s last five games.

Of course, injuries have been rampant in the NBA and while the 76ers have had to deal with several big absences, including Paul George’s suspension, the Pacers have had availability issues. Tyrese Haliburton’s absence is further complicated by Pascal Siakam potentially missing the game due to a left wrist injury, according to the official injury report, with several players confirmed to be out for last year’s finalists.

joel embiid injury status vs pacers

Rick Scutari-USA TODAY Sports

Joel Embiid’s status will likely be a game-time decision. Currently sitting at 31-26, the Sixers are in sixth place in the Eastern Conference.

They recently snapped a four-game skid with a dominant 135-108 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves, fueled by Tyrese Maxey’s 39 points and a season-best 56.8% shooting performance from beyond the arc. Meanwhile, the Pacers (15-43) are trying to snap a three-game home losing streak after a tough 134-130 loss to Dallas, despite Pascal Siakam’s 30 points.

When healthy, Embiid is as effective as ever. The former MVP is averaging 26.6 points, 7.5 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game, while shooting 49.4% from the field.

He has also performed historically well against Indiana, averaging 31 points and 11 assists in 22 career games against them, his highest scoring average against any Eastern Conference opponent. Joel Embiid played in the Sixers’ last meeting against the Pacers this season on January 19 in Philadelphia and scored a game-high 30 points.

Jaylen Brown gets injury report for Suns showdown

The Boston Celtics continue to defy expectations and head into their matchup against the Phoenix Suns after an impressive win over the rivals Los Angeles Lakers. Brown started and returned with 32 points, eight rebounds and seven assists, but suffered a minor knee injury, keeping him on the official injury report.

Brown is listed as questionable with a right knee injury according to the official injury report, as the Celtics continue to suffer multiple absences, including Jayson Tatum. Meanwhile, the Suns remain in a tough spot with several players sidelined, including Devin Booker and Dillon Brooks.

Kevin Jairaj-USA TODAY Sports

Jaylen Brown being listed as questionable introduces some uncertainty for a Celtics team that has relied heavily on his typical two-way production all season long. The All-Star wing is averaging 29.2 points, 7.0 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game, all career highs.

Two-way guard Max Shulga is unavailable due to a G League assignment, while rookie big Amari Williams is considered questionable on assignment. Despite this, the Celtics have won eight of their last nine games and are 37–19.

Phoenix scored just 77 points in their most recent loss to Portland, their lowest total since 2017. Grayson Allen is questionable managing knee and ankle injuries, while leading scorers Devin Booker (hip strain) and Dillon Brooks (left hand fracture) are out, removing more than 40 combined points per game from the lineup.

Jordan Goodwin has been ruled out with a calf strain, Haywood Highsmith is out with a knee injury, and Cole Anthony is unavailable while away from the team. Boston will be the clear favorite against a devastated Suns lineup, regardless of whether Brown suits up or not, which is a game-time decision.

Jazz’s Lauri Markkanen, Keyonte George on injury report for Rockets showdown

The Utah Jazz visit the Houston Rockets on Monday night, with both teams coming into this contest coming off losses. The Rockets suffered a loss to the New York Knicks and had an incredible fourth quarter comeback, while the Jazz lost 123–114 against the Memphis Grizzlies.

And well, the Jazz have several injury concerns to worry about, with both Lauri Markkanen and Keyontae George on the injury list. While Markkanen is listed as probable due to illness, George is questionable due to a right ankle sprain, according to the official injury report.

Of course, the same is true for the Rockets, who are also missing several names for this game.

Markkanen is listed as probable and Utah’s leading scorer is expected to suit up against Houston. Markkanen last played for the Jazz in a win over the Sacramento Kings and they have lost both of their games during his absence.

Markkanen is currently averaging 26.7 points and seven rebounds per game and his presence becomes even more important against a Rockets defense that ranks fourth in points allowed (109.4 per game).

Utah entered the matchup 18-39 after a 123-114 loss to Memphis, admitting 24 turnovers. As for George, his questionable status means the Jazz have even more issues to deal with. George is averaging 23.8 points and 6.5 assists per game and it would be a big miss if he sits out. Regardless, the Rockets also have several absentees, including Steven Adams and Tristan Newton.

Jamal Murray available against Warriors after landing on injury report

The Denver Nuggets visit the Golden State Warriors on Sunday afternoon looking to build on the massive 157-point performance they scored against the Portland Trail Blazers last time out. However, while they have plenty of absent players to deal with, the Nuggets will be up against a team that is missing its best players.

According to the official injury report, Jamal Murray is on the injury report along with several Nuggets rotation players, with the star guard initially listed as questionable due to a hamstring issue. Murray has since been upgraded to available, but Denver will be without standouts Aaron Gordon and Peyton Watson.

However, the Golden State Warriors have bigger concerns of their own, with Stephen Curry confirmed to be out along with Jimmy Butler and Kristaps Porzingis.

Murray was listed as doubtful until just before tip-off, so his status will be monitored. The first-time All-Stars played on both ends of a back-to-back coming out of the recent All-Star break.

Murray is averaging 25.7 points, 7.6 assists and 4.5 rebounds, while posting an elite 61.5 true shooting percentage. His importance has increased even more without Nikola Jokic, with Murray upping his production to 27.8 points and 8.3 assists in 12 games.

Denver enters the game at 36-21 and the No. 3 seed with a strong road record of 21-10, while Golden State is 29-27 and struggling without Stephen Curry.

Is Jalen Suggs playing tonight? magic vs clippers injury report

The Orlando Magic (29-26) listed Jalen Suggs as questionable due to back spasms ahead of Sunday night’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers (27-29). The game will begin at 9:00 PM ET on NBA TV and will be the second night of a back-to-back for Orlando.

Suggs was ruled out before Saturday’s 113-110 double-overtime loss to the Phoenix Suns. The 24-year-old guard last appeared in the Magic’s 131-94 win over the Sacramento Kings coming out of the All-Star break and starting their four-game road trip. In that contest, Suggs recorded nine points, three rebounds, three assists and one block while shooting 3-for-8 from the field and 3-for-7 from 3-point range in 20 minutes.

On the season, Suggs has averaged 13.9 points, 5.4 assists, four rebounds and a career-high 1.9 steals per game in 34 appearances. The former All-Defensive Second Team selection is shooting 44.2% from the field and 32.8% from beyond the arc while playing 26.5 minutes per contest.

The Magic’s injury report lists Franz Wagner out under injury management with a high ankle sprain. The team has indicated that Wagner will be reevaluated in three weeks.

Magic, Clippers deal with key injuries ahead of matchup

Orlando is entering Sunday’s contest intent on responding after its narrow loss in Phoenix, where the Magic forced the Suns into double overtime despite missing key contributors.

The Clippers are also managing injuries. John Collins has been listed out with a head injury and neck pain. Kawhi Leonard is questionable with a sore left ankle after Friday’s 125-122 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers.

Additionally, Darius Garland – who was acquired from the Cleveland Cavaliers at the trade deadline in exchange for James Harden – is out with left foot injury management as he recovers from a surgically repaired toe injury.

With both teams managing key absences, availability could prove crucial in the Magic’s effort to extend their 29-26 start as they continue their road trip.

Flagg, Siakam headline Mavericks-Pacers injury report

The Dallas Mavericks are in uncharted territory, dealing with injury problems amid a 10-game losing streak that now takes them to last year’s finalists, the Indiana Pacers. However, thankfully, while the Mavs come into this game with a ton of superstars, the same can be said about the Pacers.

To start things off, Cooper Flagg is on the injury report along with several key Mavericks contributors, with the rookie forward out with a medial left hamstring sprain. Meanwhile, Pascal Siakam has headlined a lengthy Pacers report and as per the official injury report, he is listed as questionable with left hamstring injury management.

Given that Cooper Flagg has been officially ruled out on the injury report, expect Dallas to once again be without their No. 1 overall pick and primary offensive engine. Flagg has been the Mavericks’ most consistent performer this season, averaging 20.4 points and 6.6 rebounds.

The rookie sat out the Mavericks’ recent 122-111 loss to Minnesota with the same midfoot sprain. Without Flagg, and with Kyrie Irving and Derek Lively II also sidelined, Dallas is surrendering 117.4 points per game and will take some solace from the fact that the Pacers are also shorthanded.

Siakam is listed as questionable. He leads Indiana with 23.7 points and 6.7 rebounds per game, and his likely absence comes with Tyrese Haliburton already out for the season due to an Achilles tear.

However, many other players from both the teams are also sitting out.

Caruso joins Shai, Williams on injury report vs. Cavs

The Oklahoma City Thunder host the Cleveland Cavaliers on Sunday afternoon. And if the official injury report is anything to go by, the defending champions will go into this match with a significantly reduced staff.

Alex Caruso joins franchise cornerstone Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and forward Jalen Williams as all three are not expected to play, according to the official injury report. Caruso has been officially ruled out due to a sprained left ankle suffered during Oklahoma City’s 105-86 win over the Brooklyn Nets on Friday.

MVP contender Gilgeous-Alexander has been sidelined with an abdominal strain while Williams is out with a strained right hamstring. However, this is not the end of the injury problems for the Thunder, with Ajay Mitchell and Thomas Sorber also unavailable for this game.

The Thunder enter this game as the clear favorites with a record of 43–14. However, they face a team that is most expected to emerge as title contenders, especially after the acquisition of James Harden, who has performed strongly on the floor. Apart from the absences, that means OKC could have a lot going on against the Cavs.

Alex Caruso missed Oklahoma City’s 105-86 win over Brooklyn with an injury, and the Thunder will take a cautious approach given his importance. Caruso continues to be one of Oklahoma City’s most destructive perimeter defenders and has the potential to perform well in the postseason.

This injury becomes even more damaging, as Oklahoma City is already without two of its primary offensive creators. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Jalen Williams represent a major part of their offensive threat, which puts more pressure on players like Chet Holmgren and Isaiah Hartenstein.

Are Jalen Suggs, Grayson Allen playing tonight? magic vs suns injury report

In their second game of the post-All-Star break road trip, the Orlando Magic will travel west to face the Phoenix Suns on Saturday afternoon. Despite the weeklong break, both teams are still dealing with some injuries, most notably to guards Jalen Suggs and Grayson Allen, who are both listed as questionable. Here’s everything we know about the injuries to Jalen Suggs and Grayson Allen and their playing status on Saturday.

*Watch NBA games live with fuboTV (free Trial)*

Jalen Suggs’ injury status vs. Suns

Suggs has missed 20 of the Magic’s first 54 games this season and is in danger of missing another game. The 24-year-old has not missed a game since January 22, but is listed as doubtful against the Suns after battling back spasms.

Suggs has often been listed on Orlando’s injury report as a precaution since returning to the court. The back spasms are often minor, which suggests he will be on the court Saturday afternoon.

The Magic are already shorthanded after Franz Wagner suffered a setback in his recovery from injury, forcing Anthony Black into the starting lineup. Losing Suggs will leave Jamahl Mosley without his best on-ball defender, potentially giving up-and-coming Javon Carter a head start.

It wouldn’t be a surprise to see Suggs take the second seat, considering he’s already missed nearly half of the season, and the Magic have been hit hard by injury. But given the nature of his injury and the current situation in Orlando, he is expected to play.

Grayson Allen’s injury status vs. Magic

Unlike Suggs, Allen has not played in more than two weeks. His last game was on February 5 against the Golden State Warriors, when his foot dropped awkwardly at the end of the game. Allen survived a major injury, but surprisingly he has been out of commission ever since.

Allen remained out after the All-Star break and did not appear in the Suns’ game against the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday. The team initially reported it would re-evaluate Allen after the break, but it appears nothing has changed.

However, him being listed as questionable is a step in the right direction, suggesting a return could be coming soon. If he is able to bounce back against the Magic, it will almost be a miracle that he only missed four games due to the scary injury.

With Devin Booker also out, Phoenix was forced to make do without its starting backcourt, forcing Jordan Ott to turn to Jalen Green, who is coming off a 26-point game against the Spurs. Green is starting with Colin Gillespie, who, barring a miraculous return of Allen, will likely be the backcourt tandem on Saturday against the Magic.

Report shows Juan Soto drove record revenue for NY Mets in debut season

A new report suggests Juan Soto was a big win for the New York Mets in 2025 on and off the field.

Many people in baseball and the sports world in general scoffed at the news that the NY Mets had agreed to a record-breaking 15-year, $765 million deal with veteran outfielder Juan Soto. Sure, he was a 26-year-old four-time All-Star who won a championship with the Washington Nationals, but earning $62 million in the first season of the deal seemed ridiculous.

When he posted a .253 average and eight homers over the first three months of the season, it seemed as if the NY Mets had another overpriced free agent bust on their hands. However, in June, Soto began playing like the MVP candidate fans had seen during his lone season with the New York Yankees.

By the end of the 2025 campaign, he had a slash line of .263/.396/.525/.921 with 43 homers, 105 runs batted in, 120 runs scored and a career-best 38 stolen bases. Those numbers and his third-place finish in the National League MVP voting seem to suggest that for at least one season, he was worth the money, even if the team collapsed in the final weeks of the season.

However, that data is what the outfielder brings to the field for the NY Mets in 2025. However, what he delivered in terms of fan interest last season proves why the club decided to give him a record-breaking deal ahead of last season.

NY Mets set new record for ticket sales in 2025

mets
Sam Navarro-Imagen Images

According to a new disclosure first reported by Sportico, the team generated $311.4 million in revenue last season. This was a large increase compared to the $260.8 million earned in 2024 and $237.8 million earned in 2023. Ticket revenue also increased by more than $20 million – from $136.7 million to $157.6 million – after a sellout to more than 850,000 fans at Citi Field last year.

The outlet also reports that luxury suite and club premium revenues doubled in 2025 ($39.1 million), and concessions increased 55% ($38.3 million).

The big difference fans found between the 2024 team and the 2025 team was the inclusion of Soto. So it makes sense that he was the biggest factor in their turnover surge last season.

However, while they generated revenue of $311 million, they suffered losses three times that amount sometime in 2025. The loss was mostly caused by payroll costs of $347 million and the accompanying $92 million tax bill.

Is Evan Mobley playing tonight? Cavs vs Hornets injury report

The Cleveland Cavaliers will take on the Charlotte Hornets on Friday night on the second night of a back-to-back after a blowout win over the Brooklyn Nets. Evan Mobley has been ruled out on the injury report, while Naquan Tomlin is listed as probable. The Hornets will be without several key players.

When it comes to the question of whether Evan Mobley is playing tonight against the Hornets, the answer is no.

In his first game after suffering a second left calf injury, Mobley produced 10 points, nine rebounds, two assists and one block in 19 minutes of action. This was the first game he played with Cleveland’s new players. Cavs head coach Kenny Atkinson thought he was showing signs of rust in his opener on Thursday, then he found out.

Atkinson said, “I thought his second term was better, a little more improvement.” “The defense was better, but you know how it is. He’s obviously on a minutes restriction. So it wasn’t easy for him to get into the flow.”

“It was nice to get back out there and play with some new guys, build relationships with them, grow that relationship,” Mobley said. “I think it’s a good first game… I think we have a great team. A lot of new guys coming in, a whole new team, but I think everybody is performing very well. Everybody is performing very well. Dennis [Schroder]How can he get down the slope, Keon [Ellis]His defense, and James Harden, obviously. I love our pieces.

Naquan Tomlin is likely headed to the Cavs after missing the Brooklyn game.

Charlotte’s Miles Bridges and Moussa Diabate are still serving suspensions for their roles in the brawl with the Detroit Pistons.

The Hornets are still waiting to see Coby White make his debut for the team after his acquisition from the Chicago Bulls as he deals with a left calf strain. Charlotte will also be without veteran Grant Williams and rookie Liam McNally.

After the turmoil of the last five months, there is new hope for what the NY Mets can do this season. After an epic collapse in August and September, then losing Pete Alonso and Edwin Diaz in free agency, fans were angry and concerned about the club’s potential in 2026.

However, in January, the front office’s grand plan to improve the team came into focus after the additions of Bo Bichette, Luis Robert Jr. and Freddy Peralta. Those moves, along with other changes the team made earlier in the offseason, have created a narrative that this revamped NY Mets roster may have addressed the issues that led to their ugly end to 2025.

Although improving the defense was a goal this winter, the biggest unofficial priority was improving the locker room. After the season, reports emerged about issues in the clubhouse between various players, including some of the team’s top stars. The perception is that the departures of JD Martinez and Jose Iglesias took away veterans who had helped bring teammates together during difficult times.

However, a new report has revealed two other bona fide members of the roster who didn’t have as much clubhouse influence last year as they did in 2024. But he could be an under-the-radar factor in the NY Mets making a big difference in 2026.

Tim Britton and Will Sammon of The Athletic report, “In diagnosing what went wrong at the end of last season, multiple sources inside the Mets pointed not only to some tough injuries, but how those injuries affected the mood inside the clubhouse.” “In particular, players like Shawn Manaea and Francisco Alvarez – who bring infectious energy – missed time at the beginning of the season and struggled to perform extensively afterward.

“It’s hard to be a clubhouse leader when you’re not performing. Alvarez brought some of that back upon his return from Triple-A last summer — ‘You notice the energy right away,’ a team source said that week — but a thumb injury sidelined him again in August,” he added.

Fans are well aware of Alvarez’s energetic personality. But interestingly, Mania also plays a major role in bringing positivity in the clubhouse. If both can have improved seasons in 2026, it could make a huge difference for the NY Mets on and off the field.

Given that Tyler Herro is probable on the injury report, the expectation is that he’ll be fit for at least limited minutes against the Hawks. Herro has missed significant time this season after fracturing three ribs in a loss to Indiana in January, forcing him to sit out 15 consecutive games entering the All-Star break.

The timing of his return is important for a Miami team that is 29-27 and sitting in eighth place in the Eastern Conference, just two games behind the sixth seed in a tight playoff race.

Herro has been productive when available, averaging 21.9 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.7 assists, while shooting 49.7% from the field and 35.8% from three in limited appearances. During his absence the Heat’s offense has dropped from 13th (115.7) in offensive rating at the start of the season to 22nd (112.6).

Norman Powell’s position is less certain. The veteran wing is listed as questionable due to lower back tightness after missing the Heat’s final two games before the break.

Powell has been one of Miami’s most consistent scorers, averaging 23 points per game, while ranking among the league’s better perimeter threats with 2.9 three-pointers per game.
