WWE backstage rumor makes Wyatt Six, New Day and MCMG releases even more ridiculous

A new rumor about WWE’s plans in the coming weeks and months makes the recent release of the Wyatt Six and the Motor City Machine Guns even more silly.

In April, WWE surprised wrestling fans when they decided to part ways with approximately 30 performers across Raw, SmackDown, NXT, and their developmental system. There were several surprise departures, but one that shocked many was the entire faction known as the Wyatt Six and TNA/Impact legends, the Motor City Machine Guns.

His exit seemed to reflect the company’s disinterest in tag wrestling as WWE fans have become more aware over the years. However, apparently, the promotion is planning to invest in tag wrestling again soon.

WWE plans to rebuild the tag team division

According to False Finish, “WWE is currently trying to help rebuild the tag team division from within, while also looking at the possibility of signing tag teams from other promotions in the near future.”

Obviously, the report should be taken with a grain of salt. However, if there is any truth to the news that WWE decided to cut ties with former tag champions like Wyatt Six, MCMG, and The New Day – who decided to leave after they asked to take a pay cut – it now seems pretty silly.

For tag wrestling fans, the report is good news, and WWE has some very talented teams on its stacked roster. But if they really invested in rebuilding the division, they seriously damaged it with their release last month.

Pat Riley asks ridiculous price for Bam Adebayo

As the Miami Heat try to figure out their next move, team president Pat Riley doesn’t seem to be speculating about the possibility of trading three-time All-Star Bam Adebayo.

He met with the media on Monday and was asked if he would consider leaving Adebayo after other teams have traded away their franchise players to become better over the past few years. His answer was quite definite. And he even offered a ridiculous price that he would accept:

“I want to build it around Bam. I think Mikey wants that too… I’m just going to give you ‘no’, I’m not going to do it. Unless someone gives me eight picks and (Victor) Wembanyama.”

One could argue that the most ridiculous thing was Riley not being able to pronounce Wembley’s name except for a few letters.

He was given three other examples of teams that replaced their star players to become better. Atlanta traded away Trae Young, Indiana traded Domantas Sabonis and Toronto waived Pascal Siakam. But Riley simply said, “They’re not bam… not in my opinion by any means.

“[He’s]your franchise pillar, anchor-creator, culture-bearer and a genius.”

Adebayo averaged 20.1 points and 10.0 rebounds this year, which are pretty good numbers, but hardly ‘franchise player’ type. He was also in the news last month in the NBA for surpassing Kobe Bryant for the second-highest scoring game of all-time when he scored 83 points in a game in March.

Adebayo is a perennial contender for Defensive Player of the Year, and has averaged a double-double in four of the last seven years.

But in the end, bam or no bam, the Heat fell far short of reaching their goal this season. They finished 43–39, and were seeded 10th in the Eastern Conference. They lost to the Charlotte Hornets in the play-in tournament and were eliminated from the playoffs.

Tyrese Maxey makes ridiculous confession about ‘cooking’ his heroes

Philadelphia 76ers guard Tyrese Maxey has quickly become one of the NBA’s elite players. The potential was obvious when he entered the league in 2020, but many probably did not anticipate that he would be in the position he is in today.

Maxey is widely considered a top-tier playmaker, commonly mentioned alongside Oklahoma City Thunder guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Los Angeles Lakers guard Luka Doncic, New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson and Detroit Pistons guard Cade Cunningham.

Maxi, 25, has always bet on himself, even during his college days at Kentucky. He has carried that confidence to the NBA.

On “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” he was asked if he felt intimidated playing against players he grew up watching. Maxi’s answer it was perfect.

“When I’m in the game, I’ve got to cook for these guys. That’s my job,” the two-time All-Star said with a smile.

He admitted that he sometimes faints after games, which is quite normal for a young player like him.

He had to move quickly with the 76ers amid center Joel Embiid’s continued injury struggles. After a quiet rookie season, he has improved his game every year, including being named Most Improved Player in 2024.

This season, he has career averages of 29.0 points, 4.1 rebounds, 6.7 assists and 2.0 steals. He has a chance to earn his first nomination to the All-NBA team, although a finger injury may hamper his eligibility, as he has only played 61 games.

Regardless, Maxi will be a regular feature for the 76ers as he tries to lead the team to the NBA Finals for the first time since 2001.

on thursday, sports witness Calciomercato covered claims about Nerazzurri sporting director Piero Ausilio’s visit to London. The intention was to get the ball rolling for a deal involving the goalkeeper.

Contact between the parties was expected, with the director also having watched several Champions League games in England this week.

Now, gazzetta dello sport Add more details about the player’s future and Ausilio’s activities during his stay in the English capital.

Tottenham player’s agent meets Ausilio

The newspaper report described the situation as a ‘flight to London’, adding that Ausilio was at Tottenham’s Champions League clash against Atletico Madrid.

He was accompanied not only by his assistant Dario Bacin but also by Vicario’s agent Gabriele Giuffrida. The Italian has been described as an international mediator and someone who had excellent relations with Ausilio. He has helped the Nerazzurri several times in the past and could also help Spurs with a deal for the player.

so it’s €20m Involved Bonus, which seems extremely optimistic on the part of Inter Milan.

Inter Milan are making every effort to establish the foundations for a deal.

Currently, Giuffrida also represents another Tottenham player in Radu Dragusin and has great influence in the Italian market. Given his experience, it is no surprise that he is being trusted.

Apart from this, the wishes of the player are also being taken into consideration and he is motivated to move forward.

Vicario’s current deal expires in 2028, making 2026 a good time to sell him. Now he is approaching 30 and there are many younger and better goalkeepers in the market for Tottenham.

Adidas’ reaction to Edwards’ $25,000 fine is ridiculous

Earlier Thursday, the NBA announced it was fining Anthony Edwards of the Minnesota Timberwolves $25,000 for thrusting the ball into the stands during halftime of the game against the Portland Trail Blazers. The incident occurred during Tuesday’s 124-121 road win over Portland, when the ANT scored a game-high 34 points.

Almost immediately after the fine was announced, Adidas posted a hilarious response on Twitter in the form of a video promoting the 24-year-old’s latest sneaker, the Anthony Edwards 2.

The clip begins with ANT’s accountant handing the player a bag full of money.

“Okay ANT, I’m setting aside 430 grand just in case you have any accidents, disagreements or slips of the tongue this season. Let’s take it easy this year,” he said.

But Edwards had a completely different idea.

“Do you really think I’m going to slow down now that I’ve got to 2s? Man look at them. You see that? That’s the difference between a floater and a poster set. They have things that will keep me steady, and they’re stronger too,” ANT explains, before being told he was talking to his accountant.

“I don’t think I’m going to slow down any time soon, so you might as well double down,” Edwards said in response, according to a post by Adidas on

And well, the fine proves exactly that. The incident occurred at the end of the second quarter; After getting the rebound on a Portland miss, Edwards faked a full-court shot and then launched the ball well after the buzzer.

The ball hit a spectator standing near the basket and now a penalty has been awarded. ANT’s 34 points were the result of a 17-35 shooting split, including five three-pointers.

Despite this, there is no doubt that Edwards will be focused on preparing for the Los Angeles Clippers, who the Timberwolves will play next. The fine is undoubtedly unfortunate, but it gave them the ideal opportunity to promote their new sneakers.

LaMelo Ball begs Eric Collins to get heat checked after ridiculous stretch injury

On Sunday evening, the Charlotte Hornets got back in the win column with an easy win over the Washington Wizards. It was an epic game for point guard LaMelo Ball, who scored 37 points in the win on an absurd 10-of-15 from beyond the three-point line.

At one point in the game, Ball hit four consecutive threes in a span of 99 seconds, and on the next Hornets possession, team announcer Eric Collins was openly eager for the star point guard to launch another one.

However, the ball passing the ball finished To teammate Brandon Miller, who turned it to Josh Green for an open three from the corner, which found the bottom of the net.

Collins has long been known for his enthusiasm on the air, which has drawn mixed reactions from fans across the league. However, his passion for Hornets basketball cannot be denied, and his sentiment of launching the ball three times in a row seems to be shared by everyone else on the arena.

Meanwhile, the Hornets are now 27-31 on the season, getting close to the .500 mark after some tough losses at home in the last week or so.

While his driving skills leave a lot to be desired, Ball has been playing some of the best basketball of his career for the Hornets over the past month, leading the team to a recent nine-game winning streak and a return to postseason status in the Eastern Conference.

Of course, there is still much to be sorted out during the season, and the Hornets’ schedule will see an increase in strength compared to the rest of the campaign.

However, for now, Charlotte fans will have to be happy with what they are seeing from their budding young team.

The Hornets next face off against the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday evening.
