Barring a trade, the Tennessee Titans are less than 48 hours away from deciding which prospect they will select with the fourth overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft. Most expect the Titans to go with either a running back, pass-rusher or linebacker.

When Titans general manager Mike Borgonzi initially spoke on Tennessee’s plans with the fourth overall selection, he said they would go with the best player available. Many came away from this with the belief that the Titans would be targeting Notre Dame star Jeremiah Love (if he is available), as he is the top-ranked prospect on many evaluators’ draft boards.

Yet, this may not be the case at all.

Recently, NFL insider Tony Pauline of Essential Sports revealed his information that Texas Tech edge rusher David Bailey is the “game-changer new head coach Robert Saleh is coveting.”

This is fine, but there may be a problem. What if Bailey is the pass-rusher the Jets want at No. 2, too? There is talk that New York is down to either Arvel Reese or Bailey, and that could put a wrench in the Titans’ plans. Heck, the Cardinals at No. 3 could even decide they want one of this year’s elite pass-rushing prospects and take whoever the Jets don’t.

In other words, based on Pauline’s reporting, it doesn’t look like Jeremiah Love is Tennessee’s top prospect, but this is also smokescreen season, so you never really know.

New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft reportedly intervened to stop it New York Post By publishing photos of head coach Mike Vrabel and NFL reporter Diana Russini at a luxury resort in Sedona, Arizona, according to multiple sources.

New York PostPage Six published the photos and a related story on April 7. The images, taken two weekends ago, showed Vrabel and Russini – both married – holding hands, embracing and relaxing together at the ambient adults-only resort.

“The photos do not represent a group of six people who were hanging out during the day,” Russini told the Post. “Like most NFL reporters, reporters interact with sources away from stadiums and other locations.”

Vrabel described the photos as “completely innocent conversation and any suggestion otherwise is ridiculous.”

No one is really laughing at this point. At the very least, they knew how the images might have been obtained. If the conversation was harmless, why did the NFL owner make every effort to keep the images a secret? And Kraft wasn’t the only one who went into crisis mode.

According to an ESPN report, Russini, Vrabel and officials athletic Contacted a crisis communications expert hours before the story ran. They hoped to provide evidence that would either change the tone of the article or prevent it from being published altogether. Those efforts also did not succeed.

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James added another major milestone to his already illustrious career when he passed former Boston Celtics star Robert Parish in terms of playing most regular season games. The historic feat came during the Lakers’ game against the Orlando Magic on Saturday, the fourth of the team’s six-game road trip.

James is going through an unprecedented 23rd season in the NBA, and he has already set several records in terms of being the oldest player to reach various statistics.

LeBron James became the NBA’s all-time leader in most games played with 1,612. This number will only increase as James shows no signs of his career slowing down or ending in the near future. Just one game earlier, in a win against the Miami Heat, James dropped a triple-double on the second night of a back-to-back, a game for which he was originally listed as questionable.

And then in the game before that, in the Lakers’ win against the Houston Rockets, James scored 30 points while missing only one shot (13 of 14). The Portland Trail Blazers will look to bounce back against the Brooklyn Nets on Monday after Sunday’s loss to the Philadelphia 76ers. They may be without backup center Robert Williams during the second night of a back-to-back.

Williams is questionable for the game with Brooklyn because of a left knee injury. The veteran center has been nursing his left knee since undergoing surgery last March and has missed the start of this season.

However, Williams has played his best basketball of the season recently. The 28-year-old has averaged 10.1 points, 9.7 rebounds and 2.3 blocks on 66.7 percent shooting in 21.1 minutes per game over his last seven appearances.

He posted six points, 12 rebounds and three blocks on 3-of-5 shooting in 20 minutes during Sunday’s 109-103 loss to the 76ers.

Robert Williams questionable for Nets matchup as Trail Blazers fight for play-in position

Williams’ presence on Monday will give the Trail Blazers a significant advantage against a Nets team with only one available center. Nick Claxton is available for Brooklyn after missing Saturday’s loss at Philadelphia due to rest. However, Deron Sharp has been ruled out for the season, leaving the team without a traditional center on the second unit.

The Trail Blazers are fighting for a spot in the Western Conference play-in race. They are 10th at 3-5, half a game behind the ninth-place Golden State Warriors.

Meanwhile, the Nets have lost three in a row while moving to a more aggressive tank after back-to-back wins over the Detroit Pistons and Memphis Grizzlies. Brooklyn will be without Michael Porter Jr. (right ankle sprain), Noah Clowney (rest), Terrence Mann (left Achilles soreness), Igor Demin (left plantar fascia injury management) and Sharp (left thumb UCL tear) on Monday.

The St. Louis Blues and Buffalo Sabers are working on a trade that will shock the entire NHL. As TSN’s Darren Dreger reports, trade talks between the Blues and Sabers involving Robert Thomas are “heating up.” St.Louis is serious about trading Thomas after weeks of speculation.

As The Athletic’s Chris Johnston reports, Buffalo has been viewed as a “dark horse team” for the Blues center in the NHL. Other teams have also been linked to Thomas, such as the Utah Mammoth and Boston Bruins. Right now, the Sabers may be close to a deal for one of the best NHL players on the block.

The 26-year-old center will ignite Buffalo’s offense, giving the team a better chance to make the Stanley Cup playoffs. After years of selling off elite players, Buffalo may be on the opposite side of a transaction. After all, Thomas has been an 80-point player in the past two seasons, and he has scored at least 21 goals in this period.

St. Louis will likely get a massive move for Thomas, possibly including multiple first-round picks and prospects. The St. Louis center moving to Buffalo would likely open the door to NHL trades, with Eastern Conference teams struggling to respond. However, there is nothing pending at this time.

Thomas has 12 goals and 35 points in 43 games this season as the Blues look to sell before the NHL trade deadline. The St. Louis center is likely to be traded in the next few days, and the Sabers are heavily in the mix. If Buffalo can get this deal across the finish line, it could be the catalyst to end the 14-year-old playoff draft.
