The Turkish journalist reports that Fenerbahçe have now agreed a deal with the Liverpool defender. He will sign a two-year contract with the Super Lig club worth a €3m salary.
That deal is now done and ready for signature. But this will depend on who wins the upcoming presidential election at the club.
According to Sabuncuoglu, the transfer could be dealt with this summer ‘if both presidential candidates approve’.
Fenerbahçe is ready to vote in the extraordinary electoral congress to be held on June 6-7th. That means any move by Andy Robertson could be delayed by that point. But the Turkish side still finalized the deal.
The Scottish defender is set to end his spell at Anfield this summer. His decision to leave Liverpool at the end of his contract has already been announced.

He was on the verge of leaving in the January transfer window, with Tottenham keen on him at the time. However, no deal could be agreed upon at that time. Instead he remained at Anfield to see out his contract and take the summer off.
A second attempt has been considered by Tottenham, especially if they remain in the Premier League this season. Its decision is certain to be taken on the last day of the season.
But with such strong ties to the red side of Merseyside, perhaps he wants a different adventure. And it seems that Fenerbahçe are ready to offer him this.
They will simply have to wait for their presidential elections to end or for their candidates to agree before they can move the agreement forward.
