The newspaper says they have become a ‘leading organisation’ against racism and hatred both inside and outside the stadium. This is despite the lack of authority to sanction clubs, fans, coaches or players for such conduct.
The conviction over the abuse of the Manchester United forward is being seen as another achievement in his fight against racism.
The 28-year-old joined Barcelona in the summer and has scored 13 goals and provided 13 assists in 45 games in all competitions for the Catalan giants this season. The deal includes an option to buy in the summer transfer window, which Marcus Rashford would prefer.
