The Bronx Democrat was in the second week of her paid congressional vacation while attending a rain-delayed game against the Miami Marlins. Fans spotted them and took some selfies.

The optics have drawn sharp criticism amid the Democrat-led shutdown, which has left nearly 35,000 federal employees — including DHS employees, FEMA employees, U.S. Coast Guard members and Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency employees — unpaid in some cases for up to 48 days.
While the AOC was resting comfortably during the long rain delays, many of its employees are trying to cope with mounting bills and financial hardship at home.
TMZ noted the widespread context of lawmakers joining Congress on a paid vacation, while others were vacationing in places like Las Vegas, Scotland, the Caribbean and Disney World.
