According to Brian Steinberg of Variety.com, Disney has informed advertisers that they must pay $10 million for a 30-second ad block during next year’s Super Bowl LXI. However, advertisers are reportedly putting pressure on the price.

Worth noting is that Disney doesn’t seem to be as effective as Fox and NBC at selling Super Bowl ad spots this time of year, according to Steinberg. All this comes as Disney joins Fox, NBC and CBS in negotiating new TV rights contracts with the NFL due to increased interest from Amazon Prime Video, Netflix and Google’s YouTube. The talks between the two sides have not been good.

While Taylor is projected to replace McGary in the Falcons’ starting lineup, he signed a fraction of his previous four-year, $80 million contract with the Kansas City Chiefs. The Texans’ front office, led by general manager Nick Caserio, has since been busy trying to upgrade their biggest weaknesses. Houston has been active in free agency, upgrading the offensive line. They also aren’t afraid to swing a trade to get the guy they want, like getting running back David Montgomery from the Lions.

Now, the Texans have made a trade for another piece, but it’s for guard Demeco Ryan.

On Tuesday, news broke that the New England Patriots are set to release linebacker Marte Mapu. Yet, before the Patriots could actually process the transaction, the Texans presented a trade offer.

According to ESPN’s Patriots insider Mike Reiss, the Texans are sending a 2027 sixth-round pick and a 2027 seventh-round pick to New England in exchange for Mapu.

Mapu was the 76th overall pick in the third round of the 2023 NFL Draft by the Patriots. The 26-year-old has started 10 of his 44 appearances over the past three seasons. He has compiled half of the NFL’s leading total of 89 tackles, three interceptions, five forced fumbles and one sack.

Heading into the offseason, rumors of the Arizona Cardinals were rampant that they were planning to move on from Kyler Murray. In the event of a printing or other error resulting in there being more Winners or runners up than Prizes for the Promotion, the Promoter reserves the right to:
     • declare as void any claims or entries resulting from such printing or other error; and/or
     • allocate the available Prizes through a further draw or divide the Prizes or the value of the Prizes between the Winners (and runners up) of the Promotion.
   • By entering a Promotion, you warrant (i.e., promise) that all information submitted by you is true, current and complete. Entries to the Promotion must be the original work of the Entrant and not previously published.    • The Promoter does not claim any rights of ownership in your entry to the Promotion.
   • By entering the Promotion, all Entrants grant the Promoter a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual licence to edit, publish and use each entry in any and all media (including print and online) for publicity and news purposes in respect of all intellectual property rights arising in and related to the entries. Each Entrant agrees that it has all rights necessary to grant the rights provided for in this paragraph 2.15, and that all materials forming part of their entry to the Promotion, and any use of such materials by or on behalf of the Promoter, comply with all applicable laws and do not infringe or otherwise violate the rights of any third party, including intellectual property rights and privacy rights.

The Winner and any guest(s) must travel on the same itinerary and all parts of the Prize must be used in conjunction with the same booking. The Winner and any guest(s) are solely responsible for ensuring they have valid travel documentation (including passport/visa/visa waiver as may be required), obtaining adequate travel insurance and appropriate vaccinations/inoculations for foreign travel at their own expense. Winners are also responsible for any personal or incidental expenses and any VAT, national and/or local tax liabilities incurred in claiming or using the Prize. If any of the Winner’s guests is a minor, the minor must be accompanied by their parent or legal guardian (at their own expense).
   • By participating in the Promotion, Entrants agree that the Prize is awarded on an “as is” basis, and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter does not make any guarantees, representations or warranties of any nature with respect to the Prize.
   • Prizes are as stated and are non-exchangeable and non-transferable. There is no cash or other alternative to the Prize in whole or in part.    • The Promoter will make available the name of the Winner on written request for 28 days after the announcement of the Winner, subject to any objections from the relevant Winner.
